Excelent song but... is not a live performance..The band is making playback on this one, and tom is singing upon the playback song, in the 1:03 minutes tom sings upon his own voice in the recorded track and all the instrumental part

has not been performed in live, but wheteaver, anyone do a playback song in some part of the life has a band i think.

La banda es exelente, solo que no comprendo son 3 integrantes y se escucha un bajo, quien toca el bajo?, el pianista no esta tocando los bajos, se ve claramente, o hay alguien escondido o trabajan con pistas o grabaciones, eso ya no me gusta...

Yes you are correct. There is a bassist not on stage. The performance is absolutely live but the bass is offstage. These 3 make such unbelievable music together w/o the need for other instruments. Keane is the 3 individuals. I think it's absolutely ok that they supplement their sound the way they feel most appropriate.

ACTUALLY NEVERMIND. that guy is a camera man. and if you listen carefully it is the actual song from the CD. Either he was trying to make it sound cool with dual voice in which he was a bit off tune with the edited vocal cd (you know they re record over and over to get it right) or he was trying to stay true to the original vocals seeing live he sometimes is off tune alot. sorry i was wrong.

I'm sorry but Tom is most certainly singing along to a backing track.

You can tell from the fact his vocals double up during the chorus and the fact that the elec piano is not DI'd and that Richards drums are not mic'd!!

It's a great shame to see this as i respect Keane as a band that always play live.

Thankfully they don't do this anymore!!!

Yeah it is, you can tell b/c of how wathering his voice is. Keane is very professional with their effects on their instruments. Especially the piano - reverse a/b delay and phaser and possibly doubling on the voice with a milisecond delay so it sounds produced but its not. Plus the drummer is playing to the beat of the sample. Keane lkes a lot of effects to emmulate their album version. Most bands that go acoustic wont add the ffects that keane did to sound more authentic live.

They never have a guitar on stage (only ocasionally, in a few songs, played by Tom). But it doesn't mean they are not playing or singing live.
