@3199henrypreston ...and this is a prime example of why shit happens in the world. Are the ejws today guilty? Were the jews then, at this holocaust, guilty? No. The people at the time of Jesus, they wanted a war against Rome, a new jewish state. When Jesus didn't give them a war at the time, they lost faith. people think this is bad? the real ordeal was probably twice as worse with the victim often passing out from pain, and/or loosing control of their bladder and/or bowels....
@Rodriguez87 thats not honesty it's a fact that 95% of the world would not survive that type of cruelty for as long as Jesus did in fact the only reason Jesus survived for so long was because God was with him because even in those days even though there was scouging and crusifiction that type of behavior was still very unusual but when humans hate something bad enough they do unusual and foolish things
just imagine if pilate did let him free after being scourged pretty much to death i'd say "they've as good as killed me anyway, you may as well crucify me now biatch!!!"
@drdst17 I must contest this post of yours. Apparently, having sex beyond being married means that you're a twisted, horrible shell of a human being who was the reason that Jesus got effed up like this?
@LuckySharm Yes, it does. If you are having sex with someone you've not committed your ENTIRE life to, then you are doing so in order to obtain pleasure, not because you love this person. It's easy to get these feelings mixed up, they run together. But having sex solely for pleasure is USING the other person, and it offends their dignity, even if this person consents - because this person is USING you.
Two persons USING each other to slake their own lusts is NEVER a good thing.
If you don't believe in Jesus why do you people insist on putting us down that do?? your non-belief is on you but don't curse at ppl that do. if you don't like it don't watch the video, don't comment. Just leave us Christians in peace.
This is quite laughable on the part of the Romans. It's nothing like how the troops would have carried the execution out. Also, these men would have been put on a charge for drinking whilst on duty. The armour is totally wrong, and they are not speaking classical roman latin.
jews dont like any12 but there self and the are money grabbing fuckers. no relgion says to treat people like animals even animals dont get treated like that. I DONT AGREE WITH RACISM BUT FOR JEWS I WANT TO KILL THEM ALL AND THE BLOOD THAT CARRIES JEWS
You're all acting like idiots. Jesus died for your sins. He was man and is God. It's plain and simple. Get out of your heads. (that's me accusing you). From Jesus's point of view... all he wants is for you to accept his sacrifice and follow him. Your life would be so much better! (Jesus is not accusing you).
@IndividualParties What about all the miracles he performed? The leaders had to come up with a way to say he used the devil to perform them because they could not dispute that he actually performed them...and what about the prophesies he fulfilled?
@MrPeever1 Don't know if anyone answered your question yet but they chose him in order to get Jesus out of the way. They saw him as a threat to their power (most of them were filthy hypocrictes) so they chose Barabbas over him. They had no special love for him, it was just the choice that would further their goals of killing him.
He lived the life we cannot live. He died the death that we deserve. All of us are the ones that should of been scourged and then crucified. He died for me so i dont have to suffer such a fate.
@trillz31 how can anyone deserve to die like that? I mean really? If "God" was so good and cared about everyone as they say why would he want anyone to go thru something like that? Sure looks lik evil to me doesnt it? This is why when i die i want no part of this mess they call earth, you can have it brother!
@911wasdonebyjews there were no christians at the time, it was just jews and romans, the romans were just as at fault as the jews as they let an innocent man die and be scourged when they had the power over the jews to stop it and they were the ones who did the actual scourging. this is not showing how the jews betrayed and killed jesus it is showing how the whole world turned their back on him.
@ubiozmiec The Romans did have fault, rarely did they listen to the Jews before this but Pilot was scared for his life and his rulership in case the Jews revolted, Caesar was already mad at him for the amount of revolts the Jews had attempted and the money that had to be spent to stop them. Most people in his position wud have done the same thing, however it was still a sin to murder a man he knew was innocent
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
LOL @ Judas. Lurky as fuck.
This movie is a terrible piece of garbage. Not even talking about how much I hate the message the movie wasn't very good.
The message is silly as well. 99.99999999999999999999999999% chance there are no gods. God goes against all of the laws of physics as we know them.
Also if there is a god I'm pretty sure he wouldn't make us sin and then send himself down to die a horrible bloody death so we could believe in him with no evidence.
@goonodeath Physics "as we know it". We are a grain of sand in the desert. There is no way we can claim to know everything about that desert. I'm not religious. But I am not arrogant enough to say that we know everything that does and does not exist.
@TofurkeyMan Well of course we don't know for sure god doesn't exist. But you can't believe in some random crazy shit just cause you don't know for sure. There is no evidence for god so he most likely doesn't exist.
@goonodeath I don't personally believe in the stuff. But I do believe that humans claim to know much more then they do. Scientists guess. They just guess accurately. It's a closed system, based on the confines of our earth. Whether or not something can exist that has powers we don't see is beyond us. Like I said, a grain of sand.
@stoneagearcher When in my comment did I claim I was smart? Maybe not gullible...like the religious. But smart? I'm sure there are religious people who have I.Q.s which are much higher than mine...doesn't stop them from being morons for believing in imaginary shit.
So no, I'm not smarter than religious...just more rational.
@goonodeath i pray for people like you, that dont believe, all the answers are in the BIBLE if you have one. i think that it is rude for you to say that, and you should be ashamed, know forever that i will always be praying for you. religious people are smarter than you, maybe your gullible, just like you think we are. i dont think you have ever been in a church, i think you should go. i dont like when people say things like that and i hope one day that you would become a christian. Moron.
@goonodeath you know what, i apologize for saying that, but it doesnt mean that you have to call everyone thats christian dumb and moron. Maybe if you would look into it and look at the world from our perspective you would probably come to know the Lord
@thesouthside0102 You mistake me sir. Believing in moronic stuff doesn't make you a moron...it makes you human. Humans are basically a blank slate when you are born. You are going to grow up with what your parents, peers, elders, ect. believe...not necessarily the truth.
As humans we really don't like to change our deeply held beliefs...so once you become religious you probably aren't going to change.
It isn't your fault you are religious. But you must educate yourself to change.
does nobody see the evil in the people that freed the sick man?NOBODY?are you THAT blind.Even the church was sick.jesus's response?(You have no power over me except is givin you from above)
@Attila709 not even half he should have died several times.if he was merly a man.but the son of god can take whatever is thrown at him,He gave his spirit up,he life wasnt taken.
@Attila709 No it wouldn't The roman's did this to every criminal. Your body would've gone into shock.. The only reaosn why jesus surviied was because he went ito shock.
Vforvideo. I can understand what youre sayin it is horrific. I would think the same if it weren't for my relationship with Jesus. To me it joys me and grieves me. It's horrific to know my sin my very own sin caused him to go through that, and that brings tears to my eyes everytime I think about it. What's beautiful though is that Jesus loved you so much that if you were the only person in the history of mankind to ever sin every drop of blood spilt is for you. And I personally believe this doe
One of the most horrifically violent movies ever made. Pure exploitation. A sick, expensive, irrelevant film regardless of one's religious affiliation.
No story, no values, just a graphic passion play that resorts to shock value to get an emotional response.
Idiot notice: These are valid criticisms of a MOVIE, not your religion.
Why? Because the Ku Klux Kult fanatics watched Mel Gibson's sadomasochistic porn flick "the passion" ??? You don't actually believe any of this actually happened as depicted in the film do you? LOL if you do, then.... wow! You really are just.......bahahahahahha.
@phoenixred999 it was written even before jesus was born he would be mocked spit upon whiped and killed. So my friend yes it happen the way it was ment to happen.
When we say “shall come forth” that means that such a place is not really his point of origin. He originated elsewhere, and that was “from everlasting”. Who is He? Let us read the fulfillment of Micah's prophecy in Matthew 2:1-2 -
“Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.”
And it is in Bethlehem that the one who would rule the whole of Israel shall spring from. And the verse said that His “goings forth have been from old, from everlasting.” He will govern the whole Israel; He will be a prince to them; He will be the King of kings in Israel.
And because His existence began from eternity, it would follow that He is very great. But who is He who shall come forth from Jerusalem?
That was the prophecy of the prophet Micah for Bethlehem, which was just a very small town in Judah. If you will compare Bethlehem with the other towns in Judah, it is relatively small. But according to the prophecy, from that very small town will spring a very great thing. This is the place where the man who would rule Israel will come forth. And saying Israel in the real sense is inclusive of Judah. Actually, that race is composed of twelve tribes.
@bjggjb :The Pre-existence of Our Lord Jesus Christ
ANS:Even before Christ assumed human form He already exists. This is contrary to common belief the Christ’s existence began only when He was conceived of Mary. If that was true, it would appear that Christ had a very humble origin – from a woman’s womb. Actually, even man did not begin from a woman’s womb. Man began from God; he was created in accordance to the plan of God, as mentioned in Genesis 1:26.
Therefore, man began out of God’s plan. However, there are those who believe that Christ’s existence began from the womb of Mary. But let us find out if that is true. Did Christ's existence really begun from the womb of Mary? Or, are there verses in the Bible that would prove that even before Mary conceived Him, our Lord Jesus already exists?
Let us now read verses from the Bible. What verses would prove that even, before Christ took the form of a man, He already exists, and that He originated from elsewhere and not from Mary’s womb? This is what Micah 5:2 says -
“But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.”

“Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.”
Definitely, the verses were referring to our Lord Jesus Christ, who was born in Bethlehem of Judaea. That was where our Lord Jesus sprang from. It is He whose beginnings had been of old, from everlasting. What is our basis? Hebrew 7:14 says -
“For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Judah; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.”
Indeed, Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the prophecy. He, who was born in Bethlehem, came from everlasting. He is older than our times; He is beyond the beginning of time. Actually, time began only when God created the heavens and the earth. But prior to the creation of the heavens and the earth, He already exists. He began from everlasting – from eternity. And we can further prove that He is even ahead of time, because He had been existing even before the creation began.
That means that He had also been existing before He was born of Mary. This is what John 8:16 says “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou are not yet fifty years old, and hast seen Abraham?”
Abraham and Sarah came from the Jews. The Israelites came from Abraham, and Abraham came from the Jews. Some thousands of years after Abraham, Christ talked with the descendants of Abraham. And to them He said,
“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day.” But the Jews sarcastically answered Him, “Thou are not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?”
Please take note of how the Jews wrongly interpreted Christ, and because of that, they also wrongly answered Him. How? Let us go over John 8:56 once again - “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw, and was glad.”
Who saw Christ? Abraham! Abraham saw the day of Jesus, and he was glad when he saw it. But what was the reply of the Jews to Christ? “Thou are not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?” They reversed the idea of Christ’s pronouncement. What Christ said was, “Abraham saw his day, while the Jews said, You are not even fifty years old and you have seen Abraham?” They misinterpreted Christ.
They made it appear that it was Jesus who saw Abraham. Nevertheless, Christ gave them an honest-to-goodness answer. John 8:58 says - “Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.”
The truth is, Abraham saw the day of Christ, and Christ also saw Abraham. Why? He was already in existence during those times. Other English translations of John 8:58 rendered it as, “Verily, verily I say unto you that even before Abraham was, I was in existence.”
He already exists even before Abraham was born. In fact, He even witnessed the creation of the heaven and the earth. If He witnessed the creation, will it be impossible if He also saw Abraham? That is why those who believe that Christ’s existence began only when He was born of Mary, are stupid! Christ said that even before Abraham was born, He was already in existence.
And Christ never spoke of lies, unlike the pastors today who speak of nothing but lies. Christ never lied. John 8:46 says - “Which of you convinceth me of sin?”
Nobody could ascribe to Him any sin. If the Jews had seen any sin, which they can ascribe to Christ, they could have stoned Him. But there was none. He did not touch any woman maliciously; He did not fool anyone; He did not ask for a love offering or a prayer request; He did not ask for tithes; He did not deceive His followers.
That was why He was challenging the Jews, “Which of you convinceth me of sin?” This is what I Peter 2:21-22 says
“For even thereunto were ye called: because Christ suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth.”
Did He cheat even a little? No! He did not sin, and neither was guile found in His mouth. Therefore, He was not lying when He said that He was already in existence before Abraham was born.
That was true. That is why, those who doubt Christ should think twice. I know for a fact that there are groups today who do not believe that Christ is a God. For them, He is a mere man. How can He be a mere man when He had already existed even before Abraham was born? Please, take note of that.
Can you delete the verses of the Bible that said that, from Bethlehem would spring a ruler who existed from everlasting? Jesus Himself confirmed that He had been in existence even before Abraham was born. Aside from that, are there other verses that prove Christ’s pre-existence? I Peter 1:10-11 says
“Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was with them did signify,”
Christ’s spirit was already existing even before. In fact, it was teaching. According to Peter, the major prophets like Moses, Jeremiah,
and the like, had already searched diligently concerning the grace that was to come to the Christians. They had searched the manner and the time that it was taught by the Spirit of Christ, which was with them all along. In other words, the Spirit of Christ was already existing even before Mary conceived and gave birth to Jesus Christ, and it was already teaching the prophets.
Even before, the prophets had searched about the time that the Spirit of Christ taught them of the salvation that was to come to the Christians. The Spirit of Christ taught the prophets, and because of that, the prophets learned. One of these prophets was Moses. Wasn’t it that thousands of years before Christ came, Moses was already in Egypt? He became the leader of Israel.
And thousands of years before Christ took the form of a man, He had already taught Moses. This is what Hebrew 11:24-26 says -
“By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater than the treasures in Egypt.”
Christ had taught Moses to humble himself. He preferred to suffer affliction with the people of God than to be called the son of the Pharaoh’s daughter ... than to be an heir to the throne of Egypt. Moses could have been the next Pharaoh because he was the prince of Egypt then. But he refused that honor, and he decided to flee from Egypt. The Pharaoh was furious when he left so that accused him of so many things.
Nevertheless, he opted to lead the people of God – the Israelites – out of Egypt. He chose to labor and suffer affliction instead of enjoying the pleasures in Egypt. He regarded the reproaches of Christ greater than the treasures of Egypt. And how did Moses learn that spirit? It is because even before Mary gave birth to Christ, His Spirit was already teaching the prophets of old, like Moses.
Insofar as the Bible is concerned, the testimonies of two or three witnesses are enough. John had testified; Peter had testified; Paul had also testified. And based on the testimonies of the Apostles, it is true that even during those times our Lord Jesus Christ already exists. It was God who elected the Apostles to be witnesses. They will testify for Christ. This is what Acts 10:39-41 says
“And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: …”
The Apostles said that they were witnesses to all the things that Christ did. They were able to see everything that He did in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, even the way He was hanged on a tree. “… Him God raised up the third day, and showed him openly.
Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.”
Who were the witnesses that were chosen by God? The Apostles! Christ was shown to them openly when God raised him up on the third day. He was meant to be revealed, not to all the people but only to the witnesses chosen by God. In fact, they ate and drank with Him.
However, there are those who claim that they are the true witnesses when they did not even have a glimpse of, at least, the nails of Christ. And neither did they get the chance of dining with Him, even in their dreams. The true witnesses are those who ate and drank with Christ, and they were the Apostles. They witnessed everything about Christ. That is why all the things that the Apostles reported are reliable.
And they are testifying that, indeed, Christ already exists even before He was conceived by Mary. But do we have any other witness? I Corinthians 10:3 says -
“And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: …”
While the Israelites were wandering in the wilderness, they were being followed. By whom? In I Corinthians 10:1-4 it says, “Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant …” What was it that Paul didn’t want his brethren to be ignorant of? St. Paul wanted the members of the first church to know... “… how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.”
Therefore, when the Israelites were traveling, a “Rock” was following them. But it was not a literal rock but a spiritual rock. They saw it. It was big. That was the rock that furnished them water when Moses tapped it. That time, the Israelites were very thirsty, and there was no water available.
Who do you think was smarter? Jesus or Buddha? I mean, just in terms of not letting themselves get crucified.

This is quite laughable on the part of the Romans. It's nothing like how the troops would have carried the execution out. Also, these men would have been put on a charge for drinking whilst on duty. The armour is totally wrong, and they are not speaking classical roman latin.

MrPeever1 9 months ago
@MrPeever1 Don't know if anyone answered your question yet but they chose him in order to get Jesus out of the way. They saw him as a threat to their power (most of them were filthy hypocrictes) so they chose Barabbas over him. They had no special love for him, it was just the choice that would further their goals of killing him.

But who is He who shall come forth from Jerusalem?
productionLioneDea 1 year ago

But let us find out if that is true. productionLioneDea 1 year ago
Definitely, the verses were referring to our Lord Jesus Christ, who was born in Bethlehem of Judaea. That was where our Lord Jesus sprang from. It is He whose beginnings had been of old, from everlasting. What is our basis? Hebrew 7:14 says -
“For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Judah; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.”
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
Indeed, Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the prophecy. He, who was born in Bethlehem, came from everlasting. He is older than our times; He is beyond the beginning of time. Actually, time began only when God created the heavens and the earth. But prior to the creation of the heavens and the earth, He already exists. He began from everlasting – from eternity. And we can further prove that He is even ahead of time, because He had been existing even before the creation began.
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
That means that He had also been existing before He was born of Mary. This is what John 8:16 says “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. Then said the Jews unto him, Thou are not yet fifty years old, and hast seen Abraham?”
Abraham and Sarah came from the Jews. The Israelites came from Abraham, and Abraham came from the Jews. Some thousands of years after Abraham, Christ talked with the descendants of Abraham. And to them He said,
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day.” But the Jews sarcastically answered Him, “Thou are not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?”
Please take note of how the Jews wrongly interpreted Christ, and because of that, they also wrongly answered Him. How? Let us go over John 8:56 once again - “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw, and was glad.”
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
Who saw Christ? Abraham! Abraham saw the day of Jesus, and he was glad when he saw it. But what was the reply of the Jews to Christ? “Thou are not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?” They reversed the idea of Christ’s pronouncement. What Christ said was, “Abraham saw his day, while the Jews said, You are not even fifty years old and you have seen Abraham?” They misinterpreted Christ.
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
They made it appear that it was Jesus who saw Abraham. Nevertheless, Christ gave them an honest-to-goodness answer. John 8:58 says - “Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.”
The truth is, Abraham saw the day of Christ, and Christ also saw Abraham. Why? He was already in existence during those times. Other English translations of John 8:58 rendered it as, “Verily, verily I say unto you that even before Abraham was, I was in existence.”
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
He already exists even before Abraham was born. In fact, He even witnessed the creation of the heaven and the earth. If He witnessed the creation, will it be impossible if He also saw Abraham? That is why those who believe that Christ’s existence began only when He was born of Mary, are stupid! Christ said that even before Abraham was born, He was already in existence.
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
And Christ never spoke of lies, unlike the pastors today who speak of nothing but lies. Christ never lied. John 8:46 says - “Which of you convinceth me of sin?”
Nobody could ascribe to Him any sin. If the Jews had seen any sin, which they can ascribe to Christ, they could have stoned Him. But there was none. He did not touch any woman maliciously; He did not fool anyone; He did not ask for a love offering or a prayer request; He did not ask for tithes; He did not deceive His followers.
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
That was why He was challenging the Jews, “Which of you convinceth me of sin?” This is what I Peter 2:21-22 says
“For even thereunto were ye called: because Christ suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth.”
Did He cheat even a little? No! He did not sin, and neither was guile found in His mouth. Therefore, He was not lying when He said that He was already in existence before Abraham was born.
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
That was true. That is why, those who doubt Christ should think twice. I know for a fact that there are groups today who do not believe that Christ is a God. For them, He is a mere man. How can He be a mere man when He had already existed even before Abraham was born? Please, take note of that.
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
Can you delete the verses of the Bible that said that, from Bethlehem would spring a ruler who existed from everlasting? Jesus Himself confirmed that He had been in existence even before Abraham was born. Aside from that, are there other verses that prove Christ’s pre-existence? I Peter 1:10-11 says
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
“Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was with them did signify,”
Christ’s spirit was already existing even before. In fact, it was teaching. According to Peter, the major prophets like Moses, Jeremiah,
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
and the like, had already searched diligently concerning the grace that was to come to the Christians. They had searched the manner and the time that it was taught by the Spirit of Christ, which was with them all along. In other words, the Spirit of Christ was already existing even before Mary conceived and gave birth to Jesus Christ, and it was already teaching the prophets.
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
Even before, the prophets had searched about the time that the Spirit of Christ taught them of the salvation that was to come to the Christians. The Spirit of Christ taught the prophets, and because of that, the prophets learned. One of these prophets was Moses. Wasn’t it that thousands of years before Christ came, Moses was already in Egypt? He became the leader of Israel.
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
And thousands of years before Christ took the form of a man, He had already taught Moses. This is what Hebrew 11:24-26 says -
“By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater than the treasures in Egypt.”
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
Christ had taught Moses to humble himself. He preferred to suffer affliction with the people of God than to be called the son of the Pharaoh’s daughter ... than to be an heir to the throne of Egypt. Moses could have been the next Pharaoh because he was the prince of Egypt then. But he refused that honor, and he decided to flee from Egypt. The Pharaoh was furious when he left so that accused him of so many things.
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
Nevertheless, he opted to lead the people of God – the Israelites – out of Egypt. He chose to labor and suffer affliction instead of enjoying the pleasures in Egypt. He regarded the reproaches of Christ greater than the treasures of Egypt. And how did Moses learn that spirit? It is because even before Mary gave birth to Christ, His Spirit was already teaching the prophets of old, like Moses.
Is that already a sufficient basis?
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
Insofar as the Bible is concerned, the testimonies of two or three witnesses are enough. John had testified; Peter had testified; Paul had also testified. And based on the testimonies of the Apostles, it is true that even during those times our Lord Jesus Christ already exists. It was God who elected the Apostles to be witnesses. They will testify for Christ. This is what Acts 10:39-41 says
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
“And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: …”
The Apostles said that they were witnesses to all the things that Christ did. They were able to see everything that He did in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, even the way He was hanged on a tree. “… Him God raised up the third day, and showed him openly.
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.”
Who were the witnesses that were chosen by God? The Apostles! Christ was shown to them openly when God raised him up on the third day. He was meant to be revealed, not to all the people but only to the witnesses chosen by God. In fact, they ate and drank with Him.
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
However, there are those who claim that they are the true witnesses when they did not even have a glimpse of, at least, the nails of Christ. And neither did they get the chance of dining with Him, even in their dreams. The true witnesses are those who ate and drank with Christ, and they were the Apostles. They witnessed everything about Christ. That is why all the things that the Apostles reported are reliable.
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
And they are testifying that, indeed, Christ already exists even before He was conceived by Mary. But do we have any other witness? I Corinthians 10:3 says -
“And did all eat the same spiritual meat; And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: …”
productionLioneDea 1 year ago
While the Israelites were wandering in the wilderness, they were being followed. By whom? In I Corinthians 10:1-4 it says, “Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant …” What was it that Paul didn’t want his brethren to be ignorant of? St. Paul wanted the members of the first church to know... “… how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat;
