im i the onlyone who think that 24 went downhill after season 4, the first 4 seasons where so amazing and season 5 was not that fun, tho i loved the part with logan being evil, the last season sucked for sure but its 24 its entertaining anyway
It's funny other peoples opinions on different seasons in which is their favourite. I haven't seen season 7 or 8 but heard there not as good. IMO, season 4 or 5 is probably the best anyways. Can't wait for the movie though, after I finish season 7 and 8 ha
I didn't enjoy Season 7 that much because it was the first time we've seen Jack really weak. He didn't participate in alot of the ops. The first half of the season was pretty good though especially when they invaded the white house.
Glad you all enjoyed it for the most part. I thought it was very well done though lacked the pace and entertainment factor of previous seasons, though maybe that was because the show peaked the previous season. Watching it again for the third time right now :-)

David Palmer and Allison Tayler were only interesting presidents, Mason and Buchanan CTU directors, Nina Myers, Jonas Hodges, Phillip Bauer bad guys and Jack, Chloe, Chase Edmunds, Edgar, Milo Presman, Tom Lennox, Tony and Aaron Pierce good guys. Rest of the charters sucks mostly, Curtis Manning was one of the most annoying charters of the whole show.
@Grievous1997 3 was amazing! How can you say that 3 was the worst? [SPOILERS] season 3 had the deaths of Nina and Sherry, it had a really interesting storyline, perhaps the saddest moment in 24 history with Ryan Chapelle's death, and overall much better than a lot of others.

Because they put too much emphasis on the opening 4 episodes and after the climax at the end of episode 4, they could never match the intensity for the rest of the season. It was just a bunch of shitty subplots that had no meaning.

Each season is phenomenal and mind-blowing. Everytime a new season would be announced, I would think it has to suck because there is no way they could keep this up. I'm wrong everytime and I love it.

God, I remember watching this waiting for season 6 and now im rewatching it along with all the other previews, including the one for the series finale. Im gonna miss it!
I hated Edgar at first, couldn't keep a straight face because he sounds like a five year old when he talks. I eventually got used to that though. Would have preferred Quinto to stay on for another season but I guess they stole his character and gave it to Chloe.
Why did they have to kill Tony off? They seem to kill off every main character eventually. George Mason was a great character too. :(

season 6 was actually the first season of 24 i ever watched and i immediately loved it. of course i subsequently rented seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 again and 7 to watch them in succession and i have to say i have no longer have favourites, the entire show is AMAZING.

What was ironic about Season 6 was everything was taken so damn personal, Jack kills Fayeds brother, Curtis has lethal history with Assad, Jack's family is involved in conspiracy's, and several others. I think season 6 was the second horrible season of 24 but I don't see me writing anything better.
Plus, it just got too repetitive to where the action really wasn't cool anymore & torture was boring.
Only thing that made up for it was explosion at the end & acting. I watched it all but if Season 6 had been the first season then it would've sucked & it probably would've been cancelled
I agree those Marine F-18 jets were used for the third time now on season 7 when they were taking out the warehouse on the airbase that was boring I only liked the guns, the oil platform attack, The russian Consulate assault, the drone pilot assault, CTU under attack. Other than that Season 7 is now my favorite. I just hope Kiefer doesn't postpone the show with his DUI's.
That sounds about right although Edgar & George's lives were pretty short-lived.
Also, I'm so glad they have another girl figure on the show now: Renee Walker because Audrey Raines in Seasons 4-6 was just a pointless romance even though Kim Raver is a good actress
That's why it would be interesting because I always wondered why he seemed to move on & fall in love with Audrey when he had no business doing so in the first place & the first person he dated he didn't get along with.
Renee, I think he likes as a friend but the producers/ writers have hinted in interviews that sexual tension might build up between them.
But yeah I think he truly loves his wife but I'm so mad that they dont' show flashbacks because she died way too quickly.
LOL, she probably killed him & will make it seem like an accident. Maybe she'll poison him.
What's ironic though is that Bauer & Renee could've just let Tony get his revenge by killing that sadistic guy especially when he's partially responsible for half the deaths the last few seasons.
Because they still thought that Henderson (guy who killed Tony) had useful information but nope, instead Jack insists they keep him alive longer & nothing good happens.
Plus, Tony should have used a silenced pistol as opposed to something like scissors

Yea but its quite an age difference. Because theres 2 or 3 years between each season Jack will be aroud 52 where as Renee is around 30. Would she want to date a grandad lol.

Yeah, I didn't understand it at all. And then James Heller just started being an asshole towards Jack at the end of the day, when all he did to Audrey was love her.
Except he was responsible for the death of her husband...
A lot of people don't like it because it has too much action and doesn't focus on it's storyline as much as the older seasons. People also don't like it because this season killed off certain characters who shall remain nameless because I don't want to spoil anything for anybody. People also don't like it because it has more torture than any previous season, and also because of the fact that it was considered the most unrealistic season thus far.
It got way too far-fetched especially with the Bauer family subplot & plus if it had been what the overall T.V. show was like then it would've been cancelled way back when.
And, yes, the action did get too repetitive & i didn't like how they had to kill certain characters plus the scenes involving Oval Office were lame.
So I like it but in comparison to Seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 7, it sucks
I actually think it's better than season 3. That season, to me, is just way too boring. At least season 6 is still entertaining. But the violence is too over the top in this season. I mean, Jack Bauer kills 50 people in this season, more than the first 3 combined. And he kills 14 in a single episode, more than all of season 1 and the same amount of season 3. It's just too much. But I still like this season because I think Kiefer Sutherland did a great job acting. It was really dramatic and good.
Keifer is always good but Season 3 never got any bad reviews cause while it wasn't as good as the first two seasons, it at least had a style similar to it & I thought it was great how Bauer had to finally face his nemesis Nina Myers,plus,Kim Bauer was getting smarter & Chase Edmunds was awesome. I was never bored by it but Season 6 occasionally bored me (Season 1 was good but first 5 episodes bored me).
Season 6 just got too ludicrous for it's own good & only good parts were the action & acting
Yeah, season 1 took a while to get started. But once it got into the morning hours of the day, it was really good. But overall, I think the best season was either the first or season 5.
I rate Seasons 1-4 a 10/10 Stars; Season 5 & 7 both an 8/10 Stars & Season 6 a 7/10 Stars since it is fun just not as fun.
But my favorite is possibly Season 4 because you see Bauer & Curtis leading S.W.A.T. teams into houses, it had a cool bad guy & you didn't need to see any of the previous seasons to know everything that was going on but my 2nd favorite is Season 5, then Seasons 1-3 & 7.
Season 6 I like either the least favorite or pretend never occured
Yeah, I really liked Curtis Manning and Habib Marwan. I think he was the best bad guy on the show. I really like Charles Logan, too, though, when a lot of people didn't. But I also like a lot of characters that other people don't like too much like Bill Buchanan and Mike Doyle.
Kind of ironic how Season 6 was the least successful season of 24, but it's main villain, Abu Fayed, is probably its most successful villain in the history of the show, with about 13,000 dead from the suitcase nuke, with another 1000 from suicide bombings.
People stop trashing season 6!!!! 24 is an amazing show and every season was great! I'm sick of these false 24 fans who think they know everything about 24 and can therefore say that some seasons sucked! Well u can't every season had a knew twist and was thrilling and amazing!

Season 1 - Was awesome. Great ending twist which I never saw coming!
Season 2 - Was pretty good
Season 3 - One of the best seasons, especially the Saunders part.
Season 4 - A very good season. Better than Season 2. Crazy ending!
Season 5 - OMFG, Arguably the best season. I'd personally say on par with 7
Season 6 - Was pretty good in my opinion but not better than 1, 3, 5 or 7

season 6 was actually the first season of 24 i ever watched and i immediately loved it. of course i subsequently rented seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 again and 7 to watch them in succession and i have to say i have no longer have favourites, the entire show is AMAZING.

I am so ready to watch season 6- I haven't seen it yet. I rented all the previous seasons 1 by 1 so I could be caught up with everyone else. Best show on tv.

best trailer maybe...best season? NO way. This was probably the worst. Last year had to dig it up from the grave that season 6 put it in. They had a burnout of creativity with season 6. The writers even said so.

What was ironic about Season 6 was everything was taken so damn personal, Jack kills Fayeds brother, Curtis has lethal history with Assad, Jack's family is involved in conspiracy's, and several others. I think season 6 was the second horrible season of 24 but I don't see me writing anything better.

Plus, it just got too repetitive to where the action really wasn't cool anymore & torture was boring.
Only thing that made up for it was explosion at the end & acting. I watched it all but if Season 6 had been the first season then it would've sucked & it probably would've been cancelled

I agree those Marine F-18 jets were used for the third time now on season 7 when they were taking out the warehouse on the airbase that was boring I only liked the guns, the oil platform attack, The russian Consulate assault, the drone pilot assault, CTU under attack. Other than that Season 7 is now my favorite. I just hope Kiefer doesn't postpone the show with his DUI's.

Season 6, while good, wasn't as well-developed story-wise or character development & also had a few boring scenes which the other seasons never had.
But yes, it's my favorite show. FOX, unlike CBS or NBC, knows what people want to watch and that is Lie To Me & 24

That sounds about right although Edgar & George's lives were pretty short-lived.
Also, I'm so glad they have another girl figure on the show now: Renee Walker because Audrey Raines in Seasons 4-6 was just a pointless romance even though Kim Raver is a good actress

That's why it would be interesting because I always wondered why he seemed to move on & fall in love with Audrey when he had no business doing so in the first place & the first person he dated he didn't get along with.
Renee, I think he likes as a friend but the producers/ writers have hinted in interviews that sexual tension might build up between them.
But yeah I think he truly loves his wife but I'm so mad that they dont' show flashbacks because she died way too quickly.

What's ironic though is that Bauer & Renee could've just let Tony get his revenge by killing that sadistic guy especially when he's partially responsible for half the deaths the last few seasons.

Although Jack did kill Victor Drazen after he gave up. And he didn't just shoot him once. He shot him 8 times until his gun ran out of ammo.

Because they still thought that Henderson (guy who killed Tony) had useful information but nope, instead Jack insists they keep him alive longer & nothing good happens.
Plus, Tony should have used a silenced pistol as opposed to something like scissors

In real life Annie Wersching is only about ten years younger than Kiefer, so I doubt the age gap in the show is that extensive.

A lot of people don't like it because it has too much action and doesn't focus on it's storyline as much as the older seasons. People also don't like it because this season killed off certain characters who shall remain nameless because I don't want to spoil anything for anybody. People also don't like it because it has more torture than any previous season, and also because of the fact that it was considered the most unrealistic season thus far.

It got way too far-fetched especially with the Bauer family subplot & plus if it had been what the overall T.V. show was like then it would've been cancelled way back when.
And, yes, the action did get too repetitive & i didn't like how they had to kill certain characters plus the scenes involving Oval Office were lame.
So I like it but in comparison to Seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 7, it sucks

I actually think it's better than season 3. That season, to me, is just way too boring. At least season 6 is still entertaining. But the violence is too over the top in this season. I mean, Jack Bauer kills 50 people in this season, more than the first 3 combined. And he kills 14 in a single episode, more than all of season 1 and the same amount of season 3. It's just too much. But I still like this season because I think Kiefer Sutherland did a great job acting. It was really dramatic and good.

Keifer is always good but Season 3 never got any bad reviews cause while it wasn't as good as the first two seasons, it at least had a style similar to it & I thought it was great how Bauer had to finally face his nemesis Nina Myers,plus,Kim Bauer was getting smarter & Chase Edmunds was awesome. I was never bored by it but Season 6 occasionally bored me (Season 1 was good but first 5 episodes bored me).
Season 6 just got too ludicrous for it's own good & only good parts were the action & acting

Yeah, season 1 took a while to get started. But once it got into the morning hours of the day, it was really good. But overall, I think the best season was either the first or season 5.

I rate Seasons 1-4 a 10/10 Stars; Season 5 & 7 both an 8/10 Stars & Season 6 a 7/10 Stars since it is fun just not as fun.
But my favorite is possibly Season 4 because you see Bauer & Curtis leading S.W.A.T. teams into houses, it had a cool bad guy & you didn't need to see any of the previous seasons to know everything that was going on but my 2nd favorite is Season 5, then Seasons 1-3 & 7.
Season 6 I like either the least favorite or pretend never occured

Yeah, I really liked Curtis Manning and Habib Marwan. I think he was the best bad guy on the show. I really like Charles Logan, too, though, when a lot of people didn't. But I also like a lot of characters that other people don't like too much like Bill Buchanan and Mike Doyle.

Kind of ironic how Season 6 was the least successful season of 24, but it's main villain, Abu Fayed, is probably its most successful villain in the history of the show, with about 13,000 dead from the suitcase nuke, with another 1000 from suicide bombings.

The reason Season 6 was so bad after a couple of episodes is due to the Writers Guild of America Strike.
So, I think they did okay due to something that almost made them stop making 24.

Season 6 is good, it's just not as powerful as previous seasons and that's why most see it as a bad season.
I'm re-watching season 6 and there are some nice action scenes and twist in it.

The action, the guest stars & twists. The dialogue & character development was crap & they killed off way too many people including Curtis Manning.
If that had been the first season of 24 then it would have been cancelled.
