  • This is great, thanks for posting. Hope you come across more great old Neil Diamond clips.

  • that's a shame--it's a good song.---i have discovered a couple edmo's ---i will clue you in on --u may already be aware of--but tonite i am too tired to dig them out of playlist lol---by the way I have every dark shadows episode (original and 91)and movie----tho i cant find my copy of the quenton movie and it's driving me daft.

  • does anyone know of an existing recording --even a demo-of raisin cain?

  • @pappy15445 No, there isn't anything. There was some hope that the newly-released collection, "The Bang Years: 1966-1968", would have some never-heard-before stuff, but there were no "new" songs.

  • The second song, "Raisin' Cain", is one he's never been known to sing at any other time. No records, no live performances. Not even a version by another singer. The first song is "The Boat That I Row", which he has released and also performed live over the years.

  • @rslitman I saw this before and have spent an hour tonight looking for it. I could not remember the show's name,'Mannix'. I should have been smart and just emailed you. It was probable you that told me about it a year ago.

    Smiles,

  • Oh Yes ... Great clip- I remember when Lulu had a hit with this song - would love to know what year was this from..

  • This was from 1967.

  • Neil Diamond and Joe Mannix together. Ahhhh, those were the days!

  • "Hey man, do you mind if I finish this set by myself?" Great line and great vintage clip!
