I saw him do this is a small pub in country nsw in the mid 90's (no longer TMG).
At the bar after the gig I suggested he should have also done "falling in love again". . he looked at me and laughed and asked "just how fooking old are you then?". we had a good laugh and a quick chat and I agree. I really nice approachable bloke.
You should have said hello. Ted was very approachable. The reason it may sound rushed is because it wasn't rehearsed. They only ever attempted it once as TMG and as you can see, nobody was ready for it. Still, it was fun seeing the band winging their way through a couple of minutes of it.
I once saw Ted Mulry in a coffee shop many years ago. If I'd been brave enough at the time, I would have introduced myself as Julia. He was sitting only a couple of tables away. This live version sounds as if his heart wasn't quite in it and he's rushing it a bit. Maybe it was because he was tired and it was his last song for the night perhaps. However, thank you so much for uploading this version.
My other favourite is "Falling in Love again". His music lives on..Cheers Julia
should of gone to the states for the bucks--he was such a talented musician--deserved more recognition--thx for posting

The big smile on Herm's face says it all. Here's a bunch of guys doing what they do best and enjoying the hell out of it. Rest in peace, Ted.
