  • I would bet that I'm only the millionth viewer of this video, even though it has around 2 million views. It's the same with all Derren Brown videos. You watch it twice, you know what you are looking for, and you understand *everything*. Amazing.

  • I am now going to make a random Chuck Testa reference, and something about an Arrow To The Knee.

  • Too bad they went with a headshot while he was explaing the scenario. I would have liked to see all his hand gestures.

  • whoa...

  • more mind blowing than Inception

  • one word: DAMN!

  • What kind of black magic fuckery is this?!

  • Heh...nothing but a plain old-fashioned magic trick. Brown switches the envelope with one he's made while watching the marketers create their ideas. Add in the "subliminal imagery" from the car ride during post-production and... voila!

  • There's a kind of witch craft to it. Controlling consensus reality is really powerful.

  • So I wonder what effect subliminal messaging has on people who are psychotic or otherwise mentally disturbed. Somehow I suspect the messaging just rolls right off because their brain is filled with stuff that has no bearing on reality.

  • And this proves? oh, right, that you idiots fell for it and believed this segment, now bow down bitches and pay attention and pay this schemer

  • this guy is awesome. if this ONE guy is capable of using these skills imagine how much knowledge the government must have

  • he's so cool

  • People in marketing and advertising are retards anyway.

  • this is how subliminal messaging works, our brain gets little messages thru media (music, movies, THE INDUSTRY) and our brain gets that message and stores it for later use. but the messages the industry is giving us are satanistic and evil messages that makes todays generation so violent and money hungry...its pure corruption, OPEN YOUR EYES

  • @M0BSHiT Marketing really does work well... Religion has done an excellent job of it... The only think that I can say... Do a bit of research maybe the marketing wouldn't hold your prisoner forever with everything else in the marketing world... Satanic...right...like all the witches that were burned... :(

  • @M0BSHiT You seem very confused and warped by not so subliminal imagery. The forces are sadly all to human, and one of their tools is this religion you refer to. Whether or not magical forces are at work beyond our perception is quite unclear (and who could know anything of them anyway?), the clear part is that there are people and they probably control more than most of us (if not all) realize.

  • Van Diesel can draw?

  • Derren Brown in inception. Just saying.

  • They really have to stop filming these shows with a mobile phone cam.

  • 0:05 London Zoo Sign - 0:18 Creature Heaven Sign - 0:24 Harp made from wood - 0:37 Man walks out with a drawing that almost looks like the Creature Heaven logo.

    Brilliant :p

  • @89Markez Dude!

  • WOW!

  • criss angel doenst have shit on derren, derren is the best

  • thats crazy

  • They didn't really need to "pay attention", that's what makes it subliminal. In a way you're right though, they could've been facing each other instead of looking out.

  • soooooo basically if they werent paying attention in the car this would have gone all wrong

  • heard about this from stuff you should know podcast

  • Who believe this video is real?

  • @MethaneMcGuiness its kinda real

  • 0:18 There are the wings

  • how can u get tricked by that?

  • Let's take a look at time: This video takes 6:40. Big-time corporate advertisers and slick marketing executives have perfected this technique and can make a commercial in about 60 seconds or less. Often times we make decisions in a split-second to buy useless "stuff" that we will never use more than once. And our money is gone...forever. Be aware folks. Don't be fooled by the bullshit that big-time corporations are trying to sell us daily. They want us to think that we NEED their "stuff."

  • The real life Cal Lightman

  • i love chicken

    :)

  • Oh my god!

  • See those advertisers? A good example of the bad parts of the human race that need immediate extermination. If there ever was a day that all advertisers were all rounded up and executed that would be the best day in the whole history of the planet.

Hitler had the right idea except he was killing people for things that were actually not a problem. I say kill the people who are actually causing the issue. Death to advertisers, then later death to politicians, then while we are at it lawyers.

  • @avmf8 you are so fucking random.

  • @avmf8 Your subliminal message is a bit...too obvious. Won't fly

  • @kirkey99 What if I add someone eating beef jerky?

  • @avmf8 haahahahaha.. Crack up Comment, and yet so very poignant!

  • @avmf8 Dude you're an idiot, lol.

  • cool

  • who sings the song at the end?

  • That was very kiniving >>> Spartansneaker online.

  • I bet you thought this bear was alive, and this cat was alive and this bird was alive. Nope, Chuck Testa.

  • Scott Meyer showed this:D

  • does anybody else want to punch that goatee jerk in the teeth?

  • @MacDillaz I didn't have that desire until you planted the suggestion in my MIND! LOL

  • Bali sub pi sub bali pi

  • Not as good as the stuff in the Mindreading Exposed ebook

  • Comment removed

  • LOL this has Chuck Testa written all over it hahaha

  • @sngcoach Will do thanks. I just know most magicians are skeptics - being one myself. Only thing is I watched one special where he 'supposedly' brain washed or something, some guy - and it was such bullshit and crap it annoyed me. I just HOPED he MEAN'T for us to know it's crap - otherwise it looked like he was trying to prove he has hypnotic powers - which no one has.

  • omg wow

  • I like how he talks with actual advertisers but I think if he wants real answers he needs to talk to people who have been thrown out of the business or something. I was watching this documentary called "Programming the Nation?" and the director Jeff Warrick did his homework for sure. He talked to a lot of advertisers candidly and it was really great to see their answers. And then they explained the hidden images in advertisements. It's playing at the Sunset 5 in LA tonight. lat .ms/nRrPum

  • Inception!!

  • I have a question Derren Brown - are you a skeptic or not - simple as that. Make your mind up - you've had long enough - time to get off the fence! You believe in the super natural - or it's all a load of bullshit - which it is of course.

  • @Lillyvon I think he's defintaley skeptic, read his book it's actually very insightful

  • Derren Brown! Nope just Chuck Testa...

  • the thing about derren brown and any other reality conspiracy theorist is that no matter how real it looks you dont know if its staged or not. you really just cant trust these guys no matter how authentic their game appears

  • Tony Stark?? oh no.. it's just Derren Brown.. haha

just kidding.. Derren is so more powerful than Iron Man

  • Amazing.

  • I suggest to learn some 'historical notes' about Derren Brown

    Either he fooled me :)

  • fake

  • Its either a trick or payed actors. People aren't influenced that strongly.

  • @ac1th Yea you would know. Man I would do that if I was 'payed'. =p

  • does mosquito goes to heaven?

  • @xScizzorz

WE MEET AGAIN COMMENT ABOUT 240p!!!

  • Its funny, he does actually use a fair amount of underhanded psychology, but its on the viewers of the video, not the people in it

He uses it to make you believe in a fake video, and it apparently worked on a lot of people

  • Simply amazing.

  • thats pretty stupid. i mean they got tons and tons of visual impression during the drive, so how could they know, that theyd pick those?

  • @maltetheg that's why it's called subliminal...

  • @maltetheg - your brain picks up everything - those were just the ones that he later drew uopn.

  • @kaelnyria my poit is, that they couldve used anything they saw on the road. he either did this experiment many times, its all a setup or he had just incredible luck.

  • @maltetheg - right but the things they chose are things that related to the assignment - like, they saw vases but those weren't realted to this company. And they were also shown these things a multitude of times in different ways.

  • Fake

  • Oh! Thats the fag from Scams or what ever

  • who stuffs a cat

  • This guy f'ing rules.

  • The guy with the glasses is a prick

  • This doesn't wor...

    Must...Kill...Lincoln...

  • I'm calling bullshit

  • If someone reads my mind I swear I'm killing the 'reader'!

  • you people who think it's fake are remedial...and ignorant

  • The cat was moved from the point he put it down to when they picked it up. Fail.

  • @Purplekykyk Ahh... Good catch my friend.

  • @Purplekykyk Lol, don't you really think that if they were to fake it they'd have a copy of the envelope rather than go take a sneak peak of the envelope while the cameras weren't rolling?! How naive are you? ;)

  • @TiagoMorbusSa I'm saying that they might not have meant to fake it. Maybe the people checked it without everyone else knowing?

  • Fake and gay

  • @ubermice actally its real you baby.

  • Shit.... that is real

  • ofc its fake..

  • My company would be called "Youstuff", we' d sell kits for users to upload chemicals and straw into their dead pet.

  • If anyone is SERIOUS about wanting to learn the techniques derren uses in this clip and his other shows, send me a PM and I will explain more about hypnosis, nlp technique etc..

  • "...knowing that we'll register so much unconsciously"?? Doesn't he mean "subconsciously"?? o_0

  • .. WIMP got me here!!

  • @blurryMclovin

After seeing the first 2 videos on WIMP, I just HAD to see more of this guy.

  • If you see this comment and you are interested in learning performance hypnotism like Derren does, send me a PM and I'll hook you up with some more info. You dont have to want to be a hypnotist, you may want to just learn it as a sort of party trick to impress friends with.

  • Or at least the slogan would evoke emotional stimuli to make the customer feel comfortable with having a dead animal in their home! For everytime you look at that dead deer or bear etc, a memory would pop into your brain of who you were with the day you killed it, and various feelings shared between you and a loved one while hunting! I would probably go with the 7 point buck because 7 is such a widely viewed lucky, and/or holy number thereby pulling the religious trigger in the subconscious!

  • The name of my company would be --Eternal Animals Taxidermy- My slogan would be -- Perfectly preserve your most valuable hunting experiences for a lifetime! My logo would be a 7 to 10 point Buck with a halo hanging from it's antlers! Hmm seems simple! Of course, the Eternal Animals Taxidermy acronym is E.A.T. A psychological variable coaxing anothers subconscious to sumarily partake of, and not so much eat, the mental suggestion to use the services provided by my company AND preserve memories!

  • I think you could do the same thing without showing people the stuff during the journey, and still get similar results. The ad ideas they come up with are really first thought and anyone might come up with "animal heaven" as a concept for a taxidermist -- think of when you were a kid and your dog died, where did your mom tell you he went? -- and the bear is in the room. Put a dozen ad students in separate rooms with 30 mins to make an ad for a specific product. Half of them make the same ad.

  • @differently It's always easy to explain things backwards....

  • I should have gotten my dog stuffed. I miss her so.

  • yow!! he totally worked those guys over good!

that was a hell of a lot of set up work.

  • "When your fuzzy friend dies, your not stuffed, but he can be"

  • great.......GREETINGS FROM ITALY

  • Its not actually subliminal persuasion, its peripheral. Peripheral persuasion is when something is in plain sight, you just cant see it. Subliminal is entirely different. But still an interesting video

  • Nina Simone - I Put A Spell On You

  • LOL!!!!!

  • 203 people are in advertising...and have no souls.

  • I'm laughing right now, watching the ending. This is amazing, ahaha, I know that I registered the images shown in the beginning as odd, but I never actually identified them and so didn't even recognize them until the end when they showed us.

  • The U.S. needs Derren Brown to work for the Ron Paul campaign team.

  • @ch09h There are people like that who already work for campaigns like that, and corporations and even the government, I saw "Programming the Nation?" and it talked about all of that. very interesting stuff. There are some cool clips from it here bitly(dot)com/n1Usu0

  • @ch09h wouldn't US dollars going for Ron Paul's campaign kind of go against the beliefs of Ron Paul??

  • @ch09h no, why? we just need to be more self aware.

  • I work in advertising. When you brainstorm about new concepts, you're pulling ideas from every direction, including old concepts, recycled ideas, rejected campaigns, movies you've seen, etc, etc. There's no way he'd be able to influence their ideas with such precision just by driving by a couple signs that they see for a split second. Subliminal messaging is bogus. He used another trick and re-edited that intro after.

  • @dookdawg214 Just because you can't do it, doesn't mean others can't. I say this because I have done the very exact same thing as him. I have been teaching myself such "tricks" since I was 12. Lol I own a web site network so all I do is try to manipulate my viewers.

  • @DBlockn05

Prove it. Show me an independant study that this could work.

  • @dookdawg214 lol honestly I wish I could but I am not going to give out what I learned like that. I guess I am too selfish. Unless you are willing to pay me beforehand some money, I can show you an example, live if needed.

  • Come on people. Its a magic trick. Not subliminal messages.

  • this is clearly fake..lol

  • i get it. i know how he dose it

  • it's amazing to see how susceptible the human mind is to being controlled.

  • @malkavianantitribu its amazing to see how susceptible the human mind is to being conned

  • @Hopleet stop buying anything shown on advertisement then ;-) ....

  • @successnow2011 Thats the gold about SUBLIMINAL advertising. It usually isnt anything seen directly on an ad, but planted in your head without you even knowing! So when you go to the store to buy something, thinking youve never seen it, garanteed there is a greason you picked that one. =P

  • i want to see how did they managed to put subliminal messages into them, isn't there a video of how they prepared it?

  • @laurixtumix all the subliminal visuals are in the montage car ride at the beginning.

  • @Deathmark13 ok i saw them again and yes there are lol

  • @laurixtumix ok.....

it would be cool to know which and where ;)

  • what the o_O

  • this is how they control us to buy there lies.

  • Ihope Apple see this before sueing other phones

icons similarity shape similary O_O lol adn been on phone trend for just 4 years!!!

  • excellent video very clever

  • GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! derren is GOD!!

  • At the end I was just like "gg"

  • Subliminal Advertising should be banned. OR be the only legal kind of advertising, since then we wouldn't be bothered by annoying commercials all the time, only subliminal.

  • That's what it was so...fimillier o.o

  • anyone looked at where tha camera was looking in the taxi? it showed all the images - passed london zoo, the zoo gates were on the blue jumpers of the children crossing the road, the wings on a cafe sign with "creature heaven" under it, an ad called "winged fellowship" on a blue background, and a large harp in a shop front... kinda freaky

  • @blitzkregify you must be a fucking moron.

  • Guys.. this is as fake as those fortune teller shows..

  • Thats bullshit. They were paid off.

  • bulll

  • ...Holy shit.

  • we only use 20 percent of our brain of course

  • HE'S GOD

  • bullshit

  • pixelinsanity . com... just saying :) advertise be happy buwhahaha

  • In the initial driving/intro sequence, there are images of heaven gates, a harp and derren brown, so freaking clever!

  • I would have drown something else because when im on a taxi I usualy play with my phone ... lol

  • I love Derren Brown, but I'm not buying this.

  • hey look its Robert Del Naja....I mean wait! no its not....:P

  • Millions of dollars spent to indocrtrinate the minds of average consumers. This is why every advertisement i see i always assume its bullshit.

  • Derren Brown is thee coolest person Evar :O

  • if anyone here is in advertising or marketing... kill yourself.

  • poor animals!

  • 0:06 They see the London Zoo.

0:09 The guys wear blue sweat shirts with a gate on it (like heaven gate).

0:18 There is a picture of two wings entitled "Creature Heaven".

0:23 We can see a harp in the store.

And well he shows them a stuffed bear so ... Everything was well planned !

  • So, they took a long ass time to make it hidden? Or are they just stupid?

  • Simple, Free Advertising.

    Check Us Out

    - Advertise Yourself -

  • I did see the wings in the taxi cab at the beginning, so when I saw it again, I thought "hey that's familiar...."

  • i bet there thinking "So... im not getting paid then?"

  • @missbluekoi they got paid...with paper of course.

  • I dunno. I'm kinda skeptical on this one. When I go to the store only one thing interests me: price. I will buy something that is cheaper and has zero advertising rather than the opposite 100% of the time, and I make it a point to do so. To believe that two people, masters of the advertising game, are more susceptible than me? Nah. Derren Brown is a good magician, but even a magician has to pay the bills. I wouldn't say he's out to educate you more than he is to entertain you and make money.

  • lol, does everyone here actually think it played out like he says in the video? The subconscious is powerful but this is just silly. Only gullible people who don't understand the subconscious believe this nonsense. He's playing a trick on you, not the volunteers on the show. Why don't people understand this?

  • @imh25 can you explain to me how the subconscious really works?

  • @NaturesInstinct Just because you don't understand fully how something really works, doesn't mean you can't understand something about how it DOESN'T work. We will never understand how anything really works. But I can tell you, and science tells us, how things definitely DO NOT work.

  • @imh25... k...

  • i love the song at the end... it's perfect.
