I've scanned a few of these videos and in everyone he is nothing but a perfect gentleman who is trying to deal with the damage his megalomaniac/narcissist sister has done to him without being bitter. He wants to get it out there and out of his system.

I know a few people who had an encounter with Christopher, and he's always acted like a diva, giving a "who the fuck are you?" look to people who are not famous, or not famous enough. I also heard about people seeing him in restaurants and he always has an attitude, acting as if he's the most important person in the room and everyone else are losers. Don't be fooled, he has a bigger ego than his sister ever had. Ever heard of the saying that fame changes people AROUND you?

I also read the book, and my general impression is that Madonna tried to help him, make him useful like paying him for decorating her house, etc. while he was a drug addict. He depended on her entirely, tho. She really did not need him as a decorator...she was just trying to find a place for him in her life, and in life in general. She gave him money every time he had a new project, like opening a restaurant. I was astounded by his way of always saying he deserved more, and more and more...

I skimmed his book, it is not at all unfair. She's a great entertainer, enormously talented, but it is not hard to believe she probably treats her brother like crap at times. She is very controlling I am sure, it's not like he discusses unfair topics about her personal life, which I'm sure he could.

I actually live in their hometown of Rochester. A friend of mine met Christopher once and said he was a really nice guy, not at all a jerk but that his friends were, lol.

Christopher Ciccone was so beloved by fans up until he wrote that silly book, which was not particularly inflammatory, just thoroughly unnecessary. I suspect he already regrets doing so on a personal level; it will be remembered by Madonna long after its forgotten by the rest of us.

As for the interviewer, I just LOVE the Dutch, so this video is a double treat for me...thank you! :)
