Finally! Thank you, Taylor! I have been telling people about this Tebow crap for a while now and I get the same hate you are talking about. People always seem to think it is a personal attack when it is a media attack.
The verses were taken out of context...but i do agree that Tebow does make his prayer very public...and I am a christian. It's ok to pray in public but it has to be genuine and for God's gain not your own gain. if you were a real christian you would know that he is praying for everything god has given and helped make this world better or such and such not for a football pass. My church youth group did this thing where we would go around our city, praying for random people in malls, streets, stores for whatever problems they may be facing. Does that mean we're a bunch of hypocrites? Personally, I found it to be an amazing opportunity in reaching out to those in need.

That quote from the gospel about not praying in public sums it all up; Jesus himself thought that such public displays were insincere by their very nature- a per se rule.

You guys are acting like Tebow is the only person in the NFL giving back to the community. I'd say at least 80% of them do it! There is at least one player on every team that has his own foundation! The only difference is they don't shove how awesome and caring they are into everyone's face like Tebow does. They have more self worth than that, they don't need hype from the media and a blabbering fan base congratulating them on doing something that every person in their position should do.

The majority of this commentary is correct although I know that he is a charitable person I read an article about how at any game in which he plays he flys a person that may be sick or just generally in misfortune to the game, pays for all medical travel expensises and hotel rooms. then win or loose after the game he spends time with the person. @HEY2319 I was a christian for most of my life. I went to church with my family and was sent to private schools wherein I was made to take multiple classes solely devoted to the bible. I'm not an expert, but I've found that my knowledge of christianity is usually more thorough than the christians I speak to.

Tebow opened up a hosptial in Philippines. Goes on mission trips every year.Hasn't had sex before marriage(got asked about it in a interview). He has said gving back is important than winning the Super Bowl. His job gives a stage to give back. Tim has stated many times that his God plans no role in him winning football games. You guys are acting like Tebow is the only person in the NFL giving back to the community. I'd say at least 80% of them do it! There is at least one player on every team that has his own foundation! The only difference is they don't shove how awesome and caring they are into everyone's face like Tebow does. They have more self worth than that, they don't need hype from the media and a blabbering fan base congratulating them on doing something that every person in their position should do.

The majority of this commentary is correct although I know that he is a charitable person I read an article about how at any game in which he plays he flys a person that may be sick or just generally in misfortune to the game, pays for all medical travel expensises and hotel rooms. then win or loose after the game he spends time with the person. And not five minutes like taking them out to dinner. so anyways I agree that he is hipocritical in relation to the bibles "teachings" but hes not so bad

Taylor, the end bit was really good. Totally agree about the whole African child starving thing.
You use this channel and your videos as a vessel for reaching out to people. Tim just does the same thing, just with playing football. I don't hold the same beliefs as him yet I know he's still doing far more good than he is bad by his actions. He's kind of nutty, but I think that's just him.
The media is what blows him up, don't take that out on him, and don't assume he's doing it for publicity.

If the bible is up for subjective interpretation, then I could say that my interpretation of the bible is that it's merely a test to see if we properly recognize it as a ploy by utilizing god's gift of reason and logic, and that all who accept religion based on faith are going to hell. See? We're both just speculating with no real evidence. That's why this whole 'interpretation' and 'metaphorical' excuse fails.

Which means that half it could potentially be made-up by the prophets who wrote it so they could insert their own personal viewpoints into a major religion. I'm not an expert, but I've found that my knowledge of christianity is usually more thorough than the christians I speak to.

Tebow opened up a hosptial in Philippines. Goes on mission trips every year.Hasn't had sex before marriage(got asked about it in a interview). He has said gving back is important than winning the Super Bowl. His job gives a stage to give back. Tim has stated many times that his God plans no role in him winning football games. If you have read about him you would know that he lived even though his mom was going die (as said by doctors) when he was born. They kept telling her to have an abortion but she didnt because of her religion and know look where they are. Also in the bible it frequently talks about how you want to spread the word of god and that that (i know double that) it's the best way you can help god. In my interpretation thats what hes doing, But nonetheless i still love your vids and keep up the good work

Those starving Africans you were talking about he actually goes to Africa every summer and helps families over there with food, shelter, and anything they need. The first quote means that the people who pray in the street, their reward is the attention. People in private receive the reward they were praying for. That's what it means. And religion isn't usually touched on, but if you talk about a religion, please be knowledgeable about it so you don't speak in a way that would be insulting or (for lack of a better word) make you sound stupid.
