The Royal Garden Trio does a the best gypsy style rendition of this piece...with cello instead of violin.

Great job on this Merle Travis classic. It seems like most of the youtube posters playing Merle Travis songs are from places like France, Finland,Germany, Japan, Newfoundland,Australia, Etc. Not too many Americans to carry on the tradition. Thank you for posting.

Waow, when watching a video like this, its the first time I come to think "YouTube" is having a wild impact on me: where else could you watch two musicians play splendidly from their living room than on YouTube?!!!two years ago, i never would have taught this would be possibleone day.
