OK there China may not have a perfect political system but no country does. There never is a such thing as pure freedom even in a democracy and everything has its limitations. Most of the western world cannot compete with China's strength in manufacturing and the western world will continue to outsource it. China is already the only country showing signs of sustainable growth in these times and will be the first country coming out of this global recession.

dalai lama has made nearly 50 years to build his charm deplomat. canada sees him as a represent of human rights, freedom, and spirituality. but in his rule of tibet, people live under a slavery region. western countries concern dalai lama, not because he is charming (there are more than 1000 charming high monks in china, why only dalailama?) but because he is on the different line with chinese government. enemy's enemy is friend.
