LOL i just saw Krishnamurti who claimed very impressive there is no such hing as enlightment , lol,but i would please everyone who has ever experienced enlightment (without lsd-25, just by yoga or directly) ,I would love to hear from such a person ; really i am waiting for this person to come since lets say 25 years but no way , it seems like he or she does not want to meet me .

@TheAtheistHindu Yeap, it's Pali language or dialect spoken by the Buddha during Siddharta Gautama Buddha's era. Sabbe Sattha Sokhi Hotu (Pali) = May all beings be well and happy. Sokhihotu to U.

@mysongbox It is unknown what language the Buddha actually spoke. But Pali was the language the Buddhist dialogues were first written in in Sri Lanka in the 1st Century BCE.

@yadsik That is something new that I heard. But all the Suttas (Scriptures or Discourses) known to be spoken by the Buddha are all in Pali words. I need to study the history of Buddhism to know more of that. No worries.

@mysongbox If you want to get to grips with the technicalities of the practices involved in actually becoming enlightened, I highly recommend investigating the pragmatic dharma movement. Trying to understand Pali terms without knowing the language, and without experience of the results obtained through the techniques of vipassana is incredibly difficult and will likely lead to misunderstanding. Enlightenment is possible.

It's amazing modern Hindi resembles ancient Pali so much so that I could understand it even when I've never learnt or read it - I guessed it was Pali because that was the language Buddha preferred over complex Sanskrit in India so that common masses could understand his teachings. Buddha was well versed in Sanskrit too.

Buddha lived, got enlightenment and taught in my country - Hindus respect him as much as Buddhists.
