very cool! looks like you did a nice job with installation, I noticed you put the nose retract in backwards, probably intentional. Good music too, fits the flight theme, what song is it? Also great flying, the plane is only as good as the pilot, in this case exceptional.

@jsmbc101 If you look most jets have a nose gear that retracts forwards so that in the case of loss of hydraulic power the air stream can lock the gear down.

Did you find they changed the flight characteristics at all? Im considering doing this mod but I absolutely adore how this plane flys and I don't want to ruin that..

For most things, no, takeoff is a bit longer but for the most part it flies the same (if a bit faster with the gear retracted).

I saw the new elfite retracts last week at the hobby shop. Looks like they work fine on the Habu. I'll be brining a set home soon!

Make sure you don't need an FCC Ham radio license for it! Also DO NOT use it with a 2.4Ghz flight radio.

i know about the radio and its ok here, Believe it or not i dont like 2.4 rc with everyone going 2.4 everything for 72 is getting cheaper and no were near as many difficulties such as frequency monitoring lol.
