  • the global depression started the year you made this video. We are being forced to consume less by the ploys of economic downturns and price increases! as there becomes less oil we will allways be forced to consume less until the economy can no longer make it with devalueing and increasing demand or people will no longer be able to reduce their consumption and their will be riots and anarchy! Either way means we are all screwed and there's noone on this planet but us that can change this!

  • @endtyrany Thank you!

  • How many of us have a " fuel surplus" sitting around our waist? I know I do - If you can ride a bike, go for it!

  • Is there a "silver lining" to this dark cloud? Localization, less CO2 and pollution, communities getting together, break up of the power of OPEC and the oil cos, renewal energy revolution? Or will it mean more war, more pollution (synfuels from coal and tar sands), economic depressions, etc.?

    Only time will tell.

  • As per electric cars -

    1. It will take decades for everyone to buy one

    2. Guess what makes electric..OIL...

  • @psynema The "compressed air" vehicle would be the best choice. First, something will have to give and cause the price of oil to rise dramatically.

  • When did Jesus say he would "be back in two thousand years or so"?

  • Revelation 20:5- But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This IS the first resurrection. 6- Blessed and holy IS he that has no part in the first resurrection: on such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

  • Oh shit! The holy "freedom" of personal transportation! Who needs it anyway? I've got no car, not even a driving license and was able to get 48 years old. I never wasted my money to drive to some remote working place. Build small infrastructures in your suburbs. You need shops and farmers there. Forget huge super markets. They are of no good anyway. Get local. Trust and help your neighbors. Don't trust or help the anonymous corporations.

  • peak oil - the big inconvenient truth - is to ugly to be told. It is therefore denied and suppressed in the main stream media as long as possible. The sudden and surprising end of the fossil fuel age will stun everyone and kill billions. Once the downslope of gas and oil finally starts, human history will change forever.

  • Thank-You, it is true!

  • im sooo looking forward to no engines, traffic

    and growing my own food!

    im happy about it

  • Sounds good odin422. You got a potive attitude about peak oil. Some places may be utopian, most of inhabited places will look like Dante's 9th level of hell.

  • i feel the same way too

it will be a happy life for me
