@deeargueta Most home births have a midwife or a doctor who help deliver the baby. But there is a new movement going around called "freebirthing", and I think that's what she's doing. It's where the mothers shun doctors, midwives, etc and deliver their children on their own. That seems way too dangerous for both the child and the mother to me.

I would suggest the business of being born. They have it on netfix. The lady probably had a midwife to assist. Midwives are actually covered under many insurances and allow for more personalized care, meaning more safety. Really. People have been having babies since the dawn of time. I think it was amazing... regardless of all the people who've posted on your video who obviously think there where always hospitals and doctor's around when a baby needs to be born. Still today, babies are born this same way... But in America, we find conveinence in over-medicating ourselves and having their babies cut out of them for no medical reasons. The baby is in the Amniotic sac which is filled with a liquid, which is also in it's lungs.. which is why when a baby is born, if it's not breathing/crying right away, they spank it, the jolt free's up any fluid in the lungs, causing the baby to cough, clearing the lungs and airway allowing the baby to take it's breath and start 'living'
