Since the Red chests give better loot, its probably more likely you'll find them in one, but im not sure if its exclusive.

after they nerfed new haven I wouldnt try to farm for one there anymore, since there are no red chests. but if your really desperate I would suggest getting the secret armory DLC, you'll get a couple for sure.

Eridian guns suck, if you haven't used one they do have unlimited ammo, but they have a recharge, it is slow and isn't worth using the gun.

@iTehAzn Well obviously 2.5 would be better because all the gear is 50, but if you find your self undergeared or in need of alittle extra money, feel free to farm in 2.

the secret room is "nice" but when it comes down to it, and your just after gear and money, its not really worth while.

What quest do you need exactly? I think I might've done it by accident. Also do you recommend I even bother farming in playthrough 1? Or just beat it and do all side quests and rush playthrough 2? To get playthrough 2.5 or is playthrough 2 good for farming.

and as far as farming goes, i wouldnt in playthrough 1, just get what you need from new haven and move on. you really dont have to worry about money and gear until late playthrough 2/2.5

you need to get the quest: Another piece of the puzzle and DON'T DO ANYTHING!!! go to new have go to the basement elevator and it will open and you can go down

Apperently you guys cant understand this is a run for all the chests in town, none of which are guarded by anything EXCEPT the basement ones. the 2 others in the zone cant be looted without getting in a fight.

theres a place in The Underpass almost exactually north of where the car spawn thing is and you go over a couple rocks and go off to the edge of the map and under a hill hidden theres a chest that has ammo and ussualy really rare weapens...im lv 26 mordecai playthrew1 and i got the alien sniper cannon thing like almost right away and a bunch of rare weapens..im currently overloaded with them ADD ME PSN---- LimpyD----

Already beat it the second time, finished last night, but i would of had a lot more trouble with the destroyer if i didnt gear up from farming runs like this first >.>

and its not like this is the fastest way to clear it, normally i'd just get those first 2, skip the one outside of town, and hop straight off the building to the stairs that take me to #4 and #5.

hop down and grab the last one, and check the wep vendor before exiting and doing it again.
