Facebook sucks dude.I got sucked in too this stupid website about a year and a half ago by my sister and her friends made one for me without asking .__. For the first 2 months it was pretty cool but almost a month after the second month it sucked.
Look at me, I have 5000 friends but only know the phone numbers for 5 of them.. I don't give a shit what any of you are doing anytime of the day. I don't want to come to your crappy B-day party at some lame bar so don't send me an invite. I don't want to play a tardstick flash game with you, I have a PS3. Facebook is becoming way too powerful for its own good. I was horrified to recently learn that they track you even after you lock out... thinking about deleting my account. and going back to texting, talking on the phone, and e-mail... oh and doing a little thing called talking with people in real life. It's kind of a lost art.

Facebook makes you spend too much time and energy thinking & worrying about other peoples lives when you should be living your own and not obsessing over other people. It's not normal to be constantly looking at pics of other people and looking to see who they are friends with etc. The entire format is creepy.

If my friend wants me to see her vacation pics or whatever I'll let her email me a link or something. There is one legitimate reason for having facebook. I have found relatives that I haven't seen in years with facebook. So it does have some merit. But on the whole its not what its cracked up to be.
Facebook sucks big time and people need help to stop once and for all and get off it. I remember the days when people just used MSN messenger and only talk to people they knew.. now.. people are on Facebook like crack heads even outside on the phone. I find my own activity slowing down on facebook. I'm using very alternative ways of sharing and staying in touch with my friends these days...and find myself wasting much less time. I won't bother to have my data or account deleted. They don't actually delete anything anyway, but it's liberating to be yourself again rather than being part of a controlled mass that isn't that different from the tv controlled bunch when you come to think of it. Deleted mine after my birthday. Too many fake people, attention whores, people telling your business and people using it as a way to say something and never say it to your face. This will make day 4 and it feels great; deleting my account forced me to stay focus on what's important now and in just a few short days I started to get much more things accomplished. And facebook also demolishes what friendship truly is so it can now kiss me where the sun refuses to shine.
i use face book to play poker with only my extremly close friends or just in general chat. it is only in the case if we are stuck at home doing homework. and by close friends i dont mean people i know from school, im talking about people that i mostly meet outside of school.Facebook is kinda worthless for friends in school but that is just my opinion.

I find my own activity slowing down on facebook. I'm using very alternative ways of sharing and staying in touch with my friends these days...and find myself wasting much less time. I won't bother to have my data or account deleted. They don't actually delete anything anyway, but it's liberating to be yourself again rather than being part of a controlled mass that isn't that different from the tv controlled bunch when you come to think of it. Deleted mine after my birthday. Too many fake people, attention whores, people telling your business and people using it as a way to say something and never say it to your face. This will make day 4 and it feels great; deleting my account forced me to stay focus on what's important now and in just a few short days I started to get much more things accomplished. And facebook also demolishes what friendship truly is so it can now kiss me where the sun refuses to shine.
