Hi - thanks for the overview of volumes 1 & 2 -- great info and insight. Question: it's a little bit off topic and maybe a bit obvious, but I'm assuming you have all your gear insured, yes?

I am just beginning to get into photography and have already acquired some pricey equipment. What type/kind of insurance should I be getting? I'm assuming there's some type of "production" insurance? Look forward to your correspondence.

i just purchased a plan through Hill&Usher. my plan insures about $15k of equipment plus computers and also liability, it cost me about $620 annually.

Yes. We carry insurance for all our gear along with liability insurance. This is very important in case we damage property while on a shoot, or we knock a stand over and someone or something gets injured.
