  • ESP are the initials for Electronic Stability Program... Which doesn't let the car to swivel around... The system which is used here is called TCS Traction Control System and prevents the wheels to spin by cutting the power and reducing the torque of the engine by applying the brakes when it's necessary... Hope I was helpful...

  • @boengs да незаметил.... сам его не использовал, но думал результат с 4л лоск будет намного лучше.... хотя 4л лоск не рекомендуется использовать на мокрой и скользкой дороге(по инструкции)

  • I could have done that in my jeep that so called 4WD system sucks. As a matter of fact I could have done that in my 1984 Ford Ranger 4x2.

  • @wildbill23c no you couldnt otherwise you would already have a video of a 2wd ranger climbing a 35 deg slope covered in ice and snow...wont happen...if one wheel in this vehicle has any traction it can keep moving forward. i had one and i can honestly say it was an amazing vehicle to drive in any situation.

  • It is TCS or ASR! Not ESP :) LOL. Go to curve with 100 km your ESP is useless on curve. close the others you must ESP open.He did not read the userguide. At least 40 percent of traffic accidents from mortal hurled stems. Research ESP ® 's up to 80 percent skid accident reduction shows. Read the userguide. Stupid realy.

  • @Serkanisim esp on the GV is an all in one system...so STUPID while the fact of having the ESP system on or off is very much relivent because it also controls torque management from the motor while TCS just controls the ABS function....So i think you should go back and read the owners manual over...again.

  • I think your missing the point. This is a test of how well ESP works on ice and snow. They were trying to spin out. It doesn't matter how many drive by wire systems you have. sometimes you just have to get a running start.

  • i have to agree, whoever bad thumbed this is wrong. This is poor driving, you should be abble to do it without traction control and in ice i have my cars turned off!, you get no power otherwise as its constantly jabbing at the brakes to find grip

  • Any advice on snow traction devices - cable-type snow chains or actual snow chains? Trying to decide which to choose. Understand the cable type provides a smoother ride on hard surfaces (road, ice, etc), but some insist chains work far better. Can't figure out if the performance of the latter is truly different enough to warrant sacrificing the potential smoother ride.

  • In my experience ESP doesn't turns off when i switch to 4H Lock. I did see ESP working in that mode. I can turn it off manually by holding the ESP OFF button. In 4L Lock it turns off automatically. In Russia, users manual clearly states that ESP it mandatory off in 4L LOCK mode. All is written for 2.0 (140hp) AT Full

  • You are right. I mentioned that it disengages when go to LOCK,but forgot to mention that it happens in 4L LOCK mode.

  • the best car ever. I have the same one and my only problem is the tyres.That type of tires (bridgestone dueler 687 H/T R17)is for SUVs on the road. Suzuki GV is an OFF road animal. Fuck Jeep....(except wrangler)

  • Jeeps suck!  Horrible resale, horrible reliability, old technology. This 4WD not AWD system in the GV is far superior.

  • yes it can....it's always on....you can turn it off but the car will engage ESP as soon as you hit 35 km/h. The ESP is the worst enemy for this application. You can't get the power to the wheels. What's making this unit climb is the traction control turned on when ESP is on.

    Маленькая поправка к твоему комментарию - ESP автоматически отключается при переходе на 4L Lock. Проверено на песке - кстати по песку/рыхлой земле, лучше двигаться без ESP.

  • alexxx99999...che sfigato.....forse non hai capito con il tuo cervellone che questo test dimostra l'efficacia dell esp...prima provano con le 4 ruote motrici inserite con l' esp off....e la macchina non va su....poi provano con 4hlock(differenziale bloccaato)e l'esp on....e la macchina magicamente sale......forse questo video è stato pensato per le persone + inteligenti di te..
