  • omg, donk rerise all in, just luck no more

  • fuck jamie gold.

  • That took real skill to go all-in with the worst hand and get lucky.

  • i <3 Jamie Gold

  • I wonder if Gold has any of that money left that he won in the WSOP. I doubt it.

  • antonius is the best)))

  • to be honest, he had a lot of outs. any 3, q, k, 10. getting your 0,25 chance twice isn't that unlikely. don't like gold, but you got to stay honest.

  • @staxstix He had 23% chance of winning. The chance of winning just 1 time were sucky.

  • Jamie Gold is gonna get robbed.

  • @EpicWinNY Nothin' to rob. Jaime went busto a long time ago.

  • Jamie gold sucks at poker and that was a suck out. I cant believe he played that hand the way he did. Hel be broke before to long.

  • I love Jamie Gold

  • I don't know what makes me puke most, how jamie plays, the river or the youtube comments.

  • Can someone explain to me how high stakes poker works? How come there are so many rivers?

  • @anythingloh

    They like to lower variance.

  • @anythingloh

It's not just high stakes poker... Alot of these cash games now when 2 players are heads up, they can agree to run it as many times as they like, though they usually run it twice meaning there are 2 rivers. Let's say if they both went all in on the flop and agree to run it twice then they would be running both the 'turn' and 'river' twice.

  • Jamie was basically the Road Runner of High Stakes Poker. Everyone kept trying to trap him for all his juicy dead money...but he always would wriggle out one way or another...talking Farha out of betting the river, unwittingly making Doyle fold the better flush...and sucking out on repeated runs against Antonius. His table talk made the show very entertaining and gave it a sort-of hapless villain character.

  • Even though I hate Jamie Gold, I almost hate Patrick Antonius as much for totally different reasons. He won the genetic lottery being good looking, smart, calm, cool, collected, rich, good at poker at a young age, and with a hot wife. With all that going for him he can take it pretty cool when he loses a 300k hand. Oh and on another episode of this he totally overplayed his top pair vs. Sammy Farha and I think won 2 out of 3 when they ran it....

  • Wow, how come a 10 or a K didn't come down the third time around? :)

  • how the hell did he manage to get the queen on the river, if i had been patrick and got the king on the turn and that happend id be sick

  • Gold is nothing more than a luckbox. No poker etiquette either. A disgusting excuse for a pro player who doesn't deserve to play with these other guys.

  • @wogacelli

    LOL....you mad bro?

  • A good player respect others players at table, Jamie is an asshole

  • Cash games are great!!!!

You can afford to gamble if the right card hits, and the stack sizes are right.

Tourney poker is QQ vs AK all in preflop...

  • Jamie Gold is a professional and he has true poker etiquette

    Jamie Gold 4 President!!!

  • oh god, jamie gold playing..whyyyy

  • get fifty fuckin $ for absoulutley free at kurzurl dot net /woXmh

  • damn...he should've just went home with that kind of money in his stack.

  • And Patrick Looks Hungry

    lmao

  • Well, i would just call it to see a river, never go all on befor ethe river, learned this from 100s mistakes already.

  • Jamie Gold is a great pokerplayer

  • what kind of name is jamie for a man

  • Check out this..crazy bad beat

    /watch?v=9Iu5EayqEFo&feature=feedu

  • lol people here have no idea what they're talking about. patrick can have AJ or J9 which has jamie crushed on turn. if i were in patrick's spot, i'd fold set of Qs or 10s if i knew jamie was never bluffing in that spot. the thing you have to realize is relative hand strength. no matter how big your hand, it really only matters who has the matter hand. jamie is never raising with worse than a set for value especially since he did a stupid overshove. the best move for jamie was to flat call turn

  • @ucla198 hmm..i feel like i've seen you on 2p2 before..anyway lol.

I agree, Jamie should always flat turn there. He is basically never bluffing if he overshoves, especially given the previous action. He only gets called by the nuts here, i can't even see patrick calling with lower sets.

More importantly, he should not be playing these stakes against these players with his bankroll.

  • jamie played it horrendously. by overshoving turn, hes only going to get called by sets and straights unless patrick has strong reason to believe jamie is bluffing. also patrick might even fold bottom or middle set since jamie wouldn't shove without a straight or high set in that spot for value. at the same time, if jamie flat calls turn and the river pairs, patrick can get away from his hand since he can only beat a bluff on river if jamie raises

  • Gold is such a faaaag geek dweeb....Hate this looser....

  • Can someone explain what "running it 3x" means? Thanks.

  • @0ucantstopme0 basically they do the river 3 times and divide the pot into 3. And each river is a seperate pot. . But you can also run it more than once on the flop not just the turn, and how much you run it, is decided by the people in the hand. once, twice, 3 times etc. say for example you hit top pair on the flop say a jack.. but i have ace king with a flush draw and it all goes in on the flop - we may decide to run it twice or three times as it is pretty much a coin flip

  • @superdave31 Okay, so in this hand, Jamie won two-thirds of the pot?

  • @0ucantstopme0 yes. he got very lucky. He was a 30% or so favourite to win the hand so to win 2 out of the 3 pots he got very lucky. (and if they only did it once like normal poker he would have scooped the lot! Which he mentions in the video). They usually run it more than once to reduce variance.

Say for example you are a 90% favourite to win the hand, you may run it 3 times as that person may..MAY get lucky and win the hand. By running it 3 times.. you will probably win at least twice

  • @0ucantstopme0 Superdave31 is correct here. You should know though, that in the majority of Onlin Poker rooms, this isn't an option.

  • Antonius is a legend...look at how well he took the bad beat......

  • the Q hits 1st time

    the 3 hits 2nd time

    3rd time

    doyle: here comes the ace

jamie: the 10? here comes the K!

lmfao what a cocky son of a bitch

  • wow, the percentages they show after the turn just can't be correct...

  • @devidia lol

  • @bierbuik i thought i deleted my comment xD i didn't see antonius his straight lol

  • @devidia that explains a lot :)

  • what a lucky spin for jamie mistake spinning imagine if they had jus played d all in as normal wit no 2nd r 3rd spin he would have won it all.

  • what is these season?

  • He is a sick donk

  • If Fulltilt isn’t fukin fixed I don’t know what is . Lost over $15k on there this year. Been playing real “webcam poker “ on pokerview and been cashing out money man. How can you explain that???

  • @johnsmith7490

    You're a donkey, a liar, and a spammer?

  • I didn't like that shove from Gold. Although it turned out good there is a straight on and patrick has called a decent raise pre-flop and called another raise on the flop, if he hit a queen he would have re-raised the flop but it was obviously some sort of draw and the king would have given him the straight draw, then he raises 45K I think it was, with a set of kings you should know you're behind and need to hit the river so a call is sufficent.

  • lol if this happened on online poker.

  • @laistar happens every day u stupid idiot

  • @LuUk1985 exactly my point you dumb ass or do you lack the capacity to realize what I was inferring to? People complain all the time on online poker about bad beats and I said if this happened on online poker they would be calling it rigged. But hey thanks for reiterating my point idiot. Lacking in the IQ department?

  • @laistar shaaat up you stupid drunked up idiot

  • Tired of bad beats? Join napster.no, and get your money back everytime someone gives you a bad beat.

  • farha is a fucking gangster love him

  • lucky fish cake

  • jamie gold doesn't do alot wrong here (a little fast with the all-in maybe) but he's not a very good player and lucked out on the WSOP.

  • Jamie Gold is the biggest luckbox I've ever seen

  • @RAKIMALLAH12 yeah but Tom Dwan is even more a luckbox lol

  • @TheGrannyWhore tom is the best to watch

  • Hes constantly getting tossed around by the real pros his win at the World Series was pure luck im not sure how people didn't catch onto his style of play quicker, its the same thing when he actually has a hand hes always like "oh dont call just fold when he really wants you to call" He knows the game but hes still a Donkey.

  • Everyone's saying how bad Jamie is on every one of his videos. He is not that bad... he knows poker believe me. He has a way of making you think he is a complete donk. It's part of his style. Yeah I know you don't believe me.

He's not as bad as you think.

  • Jamie Gold is a professional.

  • why you call him a donk on this video? Jamie did nothing wrong here? Nobody of you would fold 3 kings. NOBODY. Jamie is not a very good player but calling him a donk is slightly exagareted.

  • wtf?? why???

  • Jamie Gold is a great poker player.

  • @khida123p sometimes in high stakes cash games when someone is all in on the flop or turn in a massive pot the other player gives him a choice to run it twice or three times to so he or she can win some of the pot and not go totally broke like in this clip here. if jamie gold bet a pot sized bet on the flop i think patrick would not have called. jamies 15 thousand on the flop was small

  • @007mul 3 times means that they split the pot in 3. The one who win 2 times gets 2/3 of the pot. if he win all 3 he wins the whole pot. players do this because they dont want to get a bad beat.

  • @Jo3mD isnt that what i just said?! lol i was just answering some other guy who didnt know why they ran it 2/3 times

  • jamie is like FUCK i just lost 300 grand

  • awesome!

  • at least patrik only lost 125,00 on that hand. i say at least haha that is a shit ton of money but considering the size of the pot its not so bad. the pot was approx. 750,000 so that means patrik and jamie each put in 375,000. they ran it 3 times so each river was worth 250,000. jamie won 2 for 500,000 so patrik got back 250,000 and put in 375,000 for a net loss of 125,000.

  • the way he ran reminds me of his WSOP run.... and the way he fucking acted after winning the second run was pathetic. Act like you win the occasional hand, retard.

  • THE GAY GUY WITH TINY EYES MADE THE RIGHT MOVE BUT THE JEWISH GUY IS A TOITAL DONKEY

  • jamie gold was about to cry that fag

  • I respect Patrik, because he doesn't blow up after getting a cold deck. I've seen him get so many run it 4x and he eats 3 of them when hes a 3 to 1 favorite and he never gets steamed. True professional.

  • @fsuchino Once in a video he punched a table very slightly, but this punch was more effective than any crying of Hellmuth.

  • In all honesty I would probably play that hand exactly the same as Jamie Gold did.

  • Ask yourself: "If I was Patrick, what would I do in this situation?"

More likely than not your answer will be 'punch him in the fucking face'

  • @osup31

    Totally agree. Good inference.

  • Gold should have just called Antoniuos bet on the turn and reevaluate on the river if the board wouldn't have paired

  • @tanocaridi1251978 gold did the right thing, what if patrick had AQ or AK ? then if the J comes out on the river, Gold's 3K will blow the fuk up. So Gold needed to push Patrick to fold or to force Patrick to have a gutshot

  • ok hes at least calling the turn and know all you donks are so then when you hit the boat the money was going in anyway, stop beating on this guy I think a lot of people are really jealous of gold.he seems like a nice guy to me

  • @robswift008 It's not that what made him so unpopular is the way he acts, the way he showed one of his cards on WSOP, the way he talked to KORT about the AJ situation on WSOP, the way he bulldozed WSOP 2006 like it was nothing. The real reason people dislike him is his monkey act, "call me you got me, seriously you got me" the way he acts is like a way you would never see, Hellmuth, Ivey, Antonius, Farha, Harman or Negreanu or no one... except the possibly Hevad Khan the "King kong" of 2007 WSOP

  • @67steinip if you were bulldozing the main event with his tactics would give a shit what anybody thought, when im on a roll in a tourny i sometimes act like a dick,it toattally puts all your opponents on edge making them tilt it works why not exploit ANY situation to win,he might have acted like a bit of a cock but he won and thats all that counts.......and hellmuth acts far worse than jamie gold ever did

  • Everyone says jamie gold is a noob, but the only really bad play he made was shoving all in to antonius' raise. But it doesn't matter. Jamie is AT LEAST calling on the turn, at which point the hand is going to pan out the same. If jamie raises 3 to 4x on the turn, he's pot committed and is calling antonius' all in.

Doesn't matter. It's written in stone once the king hit.

  • @osup31 exactly, people are too critical. Jamie knew that he was ahead and he wanted to value bet $15k, which most times is going to pay off unless KKAAA hits.

I'm pretty sure it doesnt matter who is playing all the money was going to end up in the middle after the turn

  • @osup31 if you try to control the size of the pot its possible a J or A could have come on the river and he could have gotten away from the hand.

  • @osup31 written in stone eh? One of the worst poker advises.. which poker school do you run?? lol

  • @osup31

now shoving to his all in is not a "bad play" pretty trivial all in

  • @osup31 jamie didn´t go all in on antonius raise, he re-raised all in to antonius bet, big difference ;-D, otherwise i believe you are right, i don´t believe going all in here is a big mistake, antonius could have had a set of queens too. i think jamie did not play it wrong, just my opinion

  • @osup31 he didnt bet enough on the flop making it cheap for antonious to draw, also when he raises all in he folds out weaker hands like AK and two pair which might value bet the river. He instead got all his money in as a 3/1 dog. if he had played it more passively he would of hit the Q on the river and antonious would still have bet, jamie can raise and he has the effective nuts and would win the whole pot. when he goes all in hes only getting called by better hands

  • @iainsalter1989 That's definitely not true. A set of queens and a set of tens is calling there for sure. Also, what about the nut flush and gutshot draw? Antonius was running very bad in this match and might have felt like gambling. I think you're being results orientated here. The shove with a set of kings is pretty standard. These hands happen in poker sometimes. There's nothing you can do about it.

  • @iainsalter1989 .So Antonius can never be betting the turn, calling a shove with a worse hand? QQ, TT, KQ are in his range for b/c, in this aggressive high stakes game. Gold does nothing wrong here. Its just a sick set up. And its way 2 results orientated to say, 'Jamie should flat coz he WOULD have hit the best hand, then got paid when he had the best of it'. Its hilarious when people who clearly know nothing give their retarded opinions. He should not play top set (2ND NUTS) "passively" vs PA!

  • @iainsalter1989 Jamie just owned that amateur (skinhead)

  • @lChupacabra Patrick Antonius is not an amateur. He is one of the worlds best cash players.

  • @osup31

    GOOD. nah really. GOOD.

  • @osup31 People are saying Jamie is a noob because he IS a noob. This hand was a cooler, but what about his speech preflop telling everyone exactly what he has?? this entire session he played so bad it was unbelievable.

  • @osup31 i won't say i wouldnt have played the same but why i never see ivey, dwan, gus, or other pros play a hand this badly? and this idiot gold is even happy about sucking out, typical donk behaviour without much experience or routine

  • @atomisten Have you ever played for 3 quarters of a million dollars? You can say all day long "id never be happy about sucking out" but when its YOUR money on the line, of COURSE you would be happy about sucking out. Id be effing thrilled. I have no concept of that amount of money, im happy having 400 in the bank after i pay my bills.

  • jamie looks like he has down syndrome, what a fuckin amateur. I hate is 'haha' after he wins the second, you shouldn't be happy with that sort of shit play, even if you suckout. It doesn't represent a profit in the long term.

  • @magget16 There's no other way Jamie could have played that hand out, set of kings on the turn was just purely unlucky. And seriously an amateur? He won the main event dude so get your records right...

  • @ShadowbVashj right, he could have, oh i don't know, bet WAY more on the flop to deter a straight draw?

  • @ShadowbVashj And when was the last time a "pro" won the main event? Yeah thought so. If you actually watched the main event you would know Jaime made bad plays and got lucky on every episode. The only hand that calls your all in right there has you beat. Dumb play and he got lucky.

  • Comment removed

  • i know he won the WSOP Main Event in 2006 but I really hate his playing style. He plays lucky and is lucky!!

  • are they playing real money? I'm new to HSP

  • @Kobe4everMVP of course they are playing real money these are top pro`s.....

  • @Kobe4everMVP lmao so in high stakes poker they would be playing for haribo? with stacks of cash on table bit obvious.....

  • @Kobe4everMVP they're playing with monopoly money

  • why is patrick antonius the winner ?? and 3 river card wtf is that shit?

  • @takimakikaki the other two are the first two times they went head to head all in

  • @takimakikaki nvm i dont understand it either

  • @takimakikaki

They ran the river three times (in a sense played it out three times.) Gold won the first 2 runs, Antonius the last one.

  • Jamie Gold: the most annoying dumbass in poker.

  • no matter how good you are at poker, you get the money in when youre best, and you know youre holding the nuts.. You gotta call.. and when it really matters.. 700k+ pot, everything falls apart. poker pisses me off.

  • 4:12 just pisses me off everytime I hear it

  • Jamie Gold is a professional

  • Jamie is really good at this game

  • @MrActonm lol no

  • ..............STOP..........deposit at least 50$ at full tilt poker use bonus code SSSUPERBONUS and you will recive another 100$ imediatly in your account....

  • сучарище

  • CTM!!!!!!! GOLD IDOLOOOOO

  • There are only 2 basic elements to poker: Luck & Lies. Think about it. Either you get lucky with the cards, or you bluff (lie) the entire game rests on you being lucky enough to either get a winning hand, it the other person believing that you do. Luck, lies and no skills needed. No wonder Americans live it!! LOL!!

  • @Talent2008 lol.

  • Its funny, wonder if the poker players out there what Sammy Farha did on that hand. He called Jamie's hand pre flop, saying "you have a problem with this hand"...which is the same thing he said when Sammy had Aces vs Gould's Kings in a hand prior on High Stakes. Its a small little thing that no one picks up on, but its just another reason why Sammy Farha is HSP gold.

  • jamie gold went broke? I never see him playing :D

  • @Denida12131 playing $1/$2 at the bike and the $.50/$1 game at mgm confirmed he lost it all

  • @xl0l0l0l0lx. shut up you're annoying.

  • such disrespect on antonius here, the way he's cheering as he sucks out. sign of a bad poker player right there.

  • the fkn donk also smiling like a little kid who just got a bike for his birthday - dont they call that a tell?

and im absolutely sure Antonious by this time KNOWS jamie has k's or q's - he absolutely KNOWS he has him trapped

i would play that K carefully - there is a str8 and a flush draw on the board - HES AN ABSOLUTE donk!! moving in way after he should have right AT the wrong moment?

then he says "what am i gonna do right" they are all thinking "how bout come back tomorrow"

  • jamie the donk - donks another suckout

  • This is the problem with NL. Makes no difference how good of a player you are. You can lose it all to some idiot donk.

I don't care what anyone says but there is no such thing as a longterm NL cash player. They all go down in the end and recycle their money.

  • @006969123 I Agree - you cant beat this game

  • @xl0l0l0l0lx

why are there thousands of players who "beat the game"?

  • Jamie Gold and Jerry Yang leap from a building... who hits the ground first? .... who gives a fuck?

  • Jamie is proof yu can find donks at every level.

  • @youngblood328 because of this hand?

  • @youngblood328 theyre all on the same level.

  • @youngblood328

i know all think jamie sucks, but in this hand there is nothing you can do. everybody at the table would put his money in, so dont talk bullshit. maybe he should stop talking so much trash while playing against pros, he can do this in a main event field with 10000 donks out there, but not against pros who soulread you

  • @youngblood328 ...mb its the 1st video u see with him

  • weehee youtube pros discussing the hand...

  • why would PA agree to run it more than once?

  • @netskot they are afraid - i always wonder the same thing - but i swear i lose 50% of the time im ahead 80% or better - :o( - in fact i can usually recall several recent 5%ers off the top of my head - i lost one recently where the guy was still drawing to a flush - i had a full house and he hit a gutshot str8 flush to beat me

  • I don't think gold is as bad as everyone says. A small hole in your game gets amplified with the sharks on high stakes poker. He plays extremely aggressively which can get him into trouble, but also forces opponents to often make tough decisions.

Well-timed aggression is one of the most important elements of winning poker. Jamie's aggression just wasn't timed well here (Plus nobody is calling his all-in except someone who has him beat.)

  • @jsnake01 - gimmee a fkn break - he moves all in from behind routinely - unless you have 4 of a kind, the nut full house or a straight flush its gonna be a tough decision

  • Jamie Gold is solid proof that poker is luck. I am a really bad player and could never play w these guys, but fak. Anyone see the year he won wsop? He came from behind everytime and won. And did anyone else want Jamie to lose? I did. Man he is a fag.

  • Jamie Gold is solid proof that poker is luck. I am a really bad player and could never play w these guys, but fak. Anyone see the year he won wsop? He came from behind everytime and won.
