Es mi modesta opinión, solo basta con oir: Asturias de Isaac Albeniz y compararlos.

@Dalmenco every individual has different hands, hence, different finger nail lengths. some have a really good tone with short nails, some have good tone with longer nails. If there was a formula for a perfect tone, guitar would be boring.

I love Antigoni's version the most too! David Russell's is great too, but Antigoni has a sweeter tone (a part of that thanks to her Romanillos guitar I think)
Je crois que le problème est la longueur de ses ongles qui le défavorise. Quoi quil gagne en vélocité et volume sonore, il perd en expressivité. Cest pourquoi la version de Williams semble ou est peut-être meilleure. Mais Rossfelder ne manque pas de sensibilité artistique, même au contraire.
I will be smashed for this, but I like Filomena Moretti's version better. Besides her version being more romantic, it is also more beautiful. Rossfelder is a great guitarist nonetheless. I think that this peice isn't what he does best at, just as Henryk Szering was a great violinist, but didn't do so well with Tchaikovsky's violin concerto. I really like how Rossfelder plays 'Carnival of Venice' by Tarrega, though, especially were he does the snare drums on the strings!

Your techniques are superb, but they're just very common Latino guitar skills that any person can accomplish if they try to achieve so on the guitar. Eddie Van Halen invented tap solos, and very few people can master them like he does, so saying your better than him is complete bull-shit!!!! And you better know it!!!!!!!!! ;G
...go listen to Van Halen then.I Play this music and I can tell you this is so much more difficult than something like tap solos on the electric.The real guitar is this.Classical.

I am a huge admirerer of Emmanuel. What artistry! I too play and cannot imagine how he plays so well with his nails so long! But,, alas, he plays better than I with those nails!
