  • im going to try this...im about 139 over 93 my doctor said it not bad,so his not putting me on pills

  • Love this video thanks so much for posting :)

  • Hawthorn Berry tea also helps with hypertension. It's known as a "heart tonic." Hibiscus tea tastes better tho. Also, like she said, remeber the diet and exercise!

  • @Rba2086 Thanks for the tip. I didn't know about the Hawthorn Berry I look into that.

  • @Rba2086 Powerful information!! I suffer from high blood pressure and was treated by my family physician with pills. The side affects I experienced almost took my life. Severe swelling of the lips, tongue and throat was the results of taking the BP pills. I just recently bought some Hawthorn Berry syrup, cayenne and garlic to aid with my reducing my blood pressure. However since I'm an regular organic tea drinker, I'm gonna try the Hibiscus Tea. God Bless.

  • As far as the south side is concerned the only two health food stores I know of that are still open is 95th street and Bonne Sante in Hyde Park on 53rd street between Lake Park and Harper. You should call them up and compare price before taking a trip over there. There are also some health food stores in the South Suburbs. Try searching your area on happycow.net

  • Great video / I was told that I have per hypertension / I refuse to take meds. Where do you buy your tea from? I usually go to Southtown on 95th street, but I am always looking for a better deal

  • @Yeyesone certain walmarts will have the hibiscus flowers.

and if you look in most hispanic stores they will have hibiscus flowers also for very cheap(less than two dollars a pack).

  • I was just told by my doc that I had high blood pressure / I refuse to take meds / I heard that once you get on them your body depends on it / Needless to say, I am on my way to Southtown healthfoods to get this tea / thanks for the info / keep it coming.

  • @Yeyesone: There is a naturopathic approach for hypertension.

  • I love that you enjoy healthy eating/living. I watched your raw food challenge in your earlier videos. If I could find a place locally to get cheaper produce I would stock up on more fruit and veggies for a raw food week. Love this video on hibiscus.
