Every patriotic American should be proud of our women in the military. I'm a conservative and am resistant to change so I opposed the admission of women to West Point and the other service academies and to their asmission to several heretofore military branches which put them in harm's way. I was wrong. Most have done a great job and deserve the support of their fellow Americans. At this Christmastime I say God bless them and their families.

We are required to pass a past test now which is a 11:00 mile 1/2, 35 push ups, 50 sit ups, and 3 pull ups. I bet that you didnt have enough balls to do something that actually matters & when the day comes that you call apon EOD to save your ass and you see that its a female, i want you to appoligize & say thank u!
if i was in the field of close combat, the only female soldiers i want around are mean, tough, hard faced killers! no Mary Poppins "flowery" types in my unit! they stay back with the medical units! thats where angels are needed most!

I can do 71 push ups in to minutes without going onto my knees (i dont think knees count as pushups). run 2 miles in 16 minutes. Bench 153 pounds. So you can just shut up. Also women are not alowed to do push up from the knees. which just goes to show your not in the military. i may be a female but i can still hold my own. thank you very much.

Army regulations states a male soldier can go up to three weeks without a bath.A female soldier-36 hours.The female soldiers in Iraq wanted my son and my brother to carry their loads.The men are carrying twice as much weight already.My bro was on a FOB with 216 men and six women soldiers.The men got 4 shower stalls-so did the women.The women get pampered.Where is the equal WORK for equal pay? Im all for them being on the front line in combat-even a few all female platoons.
The reason why they don't want female soldiers on the front is for numerous reasons. First when one gets killed, they are afraid that the men will sobber over her, instead of fighting. Second, PR... It's hard to sell back home, that a lot of females get killed. Third, In case of capture, we all know what they do to women. That's why women don't get the frontline seat. Most of time the only thing near the frontlines are Supporting tasks.

I however was in a youth training program operated by the army. my friend applied for the coast guard and was denied although he passed all specs to supplement female quotas.females who failed were given the option to go on. this is not about ability but political correctness. Ladies out there in iraq/afghanistan...YOU are what make guys like me wonna join up! shame though where im british our Army dont allow women to fight on the frontline due to mental reasons and could "Harm" the main mission. It is important to not let pretty girls get into harms way, although those oversized fat ones that are incapable of getting a real husband are disposable enough, as well as the ugly ones.
Most of the female soldiers I ever met were lesbians...used to have bets with some of the guys in my company who was or wasn't. We were usually right. Oh well, they can still kick your ass and be beautiful while doing it! ha Best wishes!

We have fought to be on the front lines but the military is something that doesn't budge easily. I'm not stupid I know men are stronger then women but that doesn't mean we can't fight.

Fight harder. You say you don't fight for supremacy, but the fact is supremacy is what you have. And I would be more than happy to prove it. You seam like a reasonable person. wtf ever females have just as much right as males. Im a female & I guarentee that I have more balls then you. I am an EOD tech & I can hold my own against any man out there. We are required to pass a past test now which is a 11:00 mile 1/2, 35 push ups, 50 sit ups, and 3 pull ups. I bet that you didnt have enough balls to do something that actually matters & when the day comes that you call apon EOD to save your ass and you see that its a female, i want you to appoligize & say thank u!

For anyone who insults women being in the military. i have a question for you are you willing to join the military. If not the just shut up you have no idea what you are talking about. Women are just as important as men. They may be physicaly build different women have to work twice as hard to do what men do, and the women do it. so sorry to get all defensive but im joining the Army February 9th 2011 and i am a women. i dont want to be treated any different then my male counterparts.

@Jarack123 im sorry what. i dont want exemptions i can pitch my own tent. I can do 71 push ups in to minutes without going onto my knees (i dont think knees count as pushups). run 2 miles in 16 minutes. Bench 153 pounds. So you can just shut up. Also women are not alowed to do push up from the knees. which just goes to show your not in the military. i may be a female but i can still hold my own. thank you very much.

@APSaint2011 well very good for you then. men are at the higher end of physical ability so all that rhetoric about your performance stats is irrelevant. about the tents: the men do pitch women's tent at the base. try reading some accounts of how training has been watered down to include women in the military. push up from the knees is allowed in Britain. whether from the knees or not women still enter at a lower standard. Thats not very inspiring. I can't shut up because i'm typing.

Army regulations states a male soldier can go up to three weeks without a bath.A female soldier-36 hours.The female soldiers in Iraq wanted my son and my brother to carry their loads.The men are carrying twice as much weight already.My bro was on a FOB with 216 men and six women soldiers.The men got 4 shower stalls-so did the women.The women get pampered.Where is the equal WORK for equal pay? Im all for them being on the front line in combat-even a few all female platoons.

The reason why they don't want female soldiers on the front is for numerous reasons. First when one gets killed, they are afraid that the men will sobber over her, instead of fighting. Second, PR... It's hard to sell back home, that a lot of females get killed. Third, In case of capture, we all know what they do to women. That's why women don't get the frontline seat. Most of time the only thing near the frontlines are Supporting tasks.

I however was in a youth training program operated by the army. my friend applied for the coast guard and was denied although he passed all specs to supplement female quotas.females who failed were given the option to go on. this is not about ability but political correctness. Women are protected from the real battle.
