hi! im 10 and i have a friend, Yvette, who knows spanish. thanks for these AWESOME videos!!!! they really helped me! gracias, mi amigo!!! : ) : ) im still learning though. but Thanks - Cameron! : )
Thank you so much for these helpful videos! My boyfriend is from Guatemala and as are his cousins, they speak english pretty well, but sometimes it is hard to understand them, so i am trying to learn a bit of Spanish so i know what they ask :)
adios patria adorada rehiyon del sol querida perla del mar de oriente nuestro perdido eden adarte voy alegre la triste mustia vida y fuerra mas brillante mas fresca mas florida. hahah
we were asked to memorize the "mi ultimo adios" of rizal(our philippine hero) in our class. this isn't complete. hehe i enjoyed memorizing it!
tienen animales is just more generic. try to remember that you only speak one dialect of Spanish, my friend. Of course tienes/n mascotas is correct, but not everyone says that. And 'buenas tardes' is correct after noon in most dialects. I have often seen very well educated native speakers say buenos dias at, say, 12:30, check their watches and say, eh... buenas tardes :)
Hello languagenow. Yes, "animales" is more generic, but when you mean the "animals" that you can own as a "pets" you should use "Mascota". Well.. resumed if it's easy I'll try to show you the literally translation.
Animals(English) = Animales(Spanish)
Pets(English) = Mascotas(Spanish)
That happens in spanish. But for example in a dialect like Valencian(One of my mother languages) it's totally correct to say Animals or "Mascotes" (don't take it as Spanish)
i learn a bit more spanish all the time, and this helped me a lot! id like to learn fluently but i havent dedicated myself to it yet. ive always been great with words and language in general, i think i could catch on quick.
hey now... I never complain about your bein' a wannabe boxer, gwaping, now do I? Let's keep it civil. I provide these classes for beginners, and most of them like them--just read the other comments :) peace out flyweight
The hardest thing for me right now is adapting to different dialects, where even proper rules can be considered incorrect. It is perhaps even more challenging than learning the formal way of a language without slang!
Btw, you're a douche, way to insult him for trying to help people out of charity.
You're the almost the only one out of all his comments that complain and you're not even a native speaker, you're just some wannabe who is having trouble with English apparently.
I also find it funny how I speak better English than you even though I am not a native speaker.
wat about cousins?

Mamaíta (spaniard) / mamacita (latin american) = Mommy

supongo que esto será español de América, porque en el de España se dice "teneis" y NO "tienen". ("tienen" es algo demasiado formal).
:)
EstoEsAlucinante 3 years ago
Depende del dialecto, amigo. Algunos paises dicen "tenéis" otros dicen "tienen". Los dos son iguales de correctos.
kimmykun 2 years ago
lo que yo dije no fue que fuera incorrecto, simplemente aporté la vision española del tema...

YOu don't say Tienen animales. In spanish we use Mascota.. Like a Mascot for a pet.
