there really is no competition between page and white, a couple of years ago somebody asked jimmy page who was his favourite guitarist at the moment and he said jack white, he also chose him to take part in It might get Loud.

on the other hand jack white already stated a couple of times that he really loves Led Zeppelin and that page inspired him.
