  • @stj0124 nope.

  • Jimi Hendrix in a interview shortly after woodstock was asked whats it like to be # 1 he replied go ask Rory Gallagher thats a true legend ,Page don't come close to Rory, so i think yu know what i have to say bout Jack White

  • NOVEMBER 13TH ATLANTAAAA

  • It sounds like the Led Zeppelin singer.

  • @calebspector37 also reminds me of some led zeppelin songs, like "since i've been loving you" and I can't quit you babe"

  • @Gias1 they both have that bluesy sound but he sounds nothing like robert plant those are only alike because there both blues

  • @calebspector37 Jack White sounds nothing like Robert Plant.......

  • i go from asking alexandria to the raconteurs, im not quite sure how that happened, but i like it

  • @yma6traalalafob Don't worry, you'll quit being a fag soon enough. The Raconteurs are just your first step in the "Quit Being a Faggot 12 Step Program."

  • @spicyMcHAGGIS9green haha that actually made me laugh out loud, so its appropriate for me to say LOL right now :D

  • you want some good tunes? just take the 3 amazing guitarists from it might get loud, jimmy page and zepplin, the best for a harder tune, jack white with either the white stripes or the raconteurs for a more bluesy type, then the edge and u2 for the average rock, some light rock then some heavier stuff, oversll, great artists

  • u2 are good and the raconteurs are good...=D

  • his voice kinda sounds like robert's....O_o

  • Comment removed

  • Just beautifulllllllllllll..

  • Anyone else think that this song sounds very much like "I want you" by the Beatles?

  • this music inspired my music. if you like the raconteurs you might like Rat Stomp :)

    youtube.com/user/ratstompmusic

  • Ive heard that Jack said somethin like that about led zeppelin: Somehow I dont trust in someone who doesnt like Led Zeppelin.

  • This song is so f'n sexxxxxy!!!!

  • there really is no competition between page and white, a couple of years ago somebody asked jimmy page who was his favourite guitarist at the moment and he said jack white, he also chose him to take part in It might get Loud.

on the other hand jack white already stated a couple of times that he really loves Led Zeppelin and that page inspired him.

both of them are amazing concerning technique and feeling and insprie people around the globe.

  • I want this as my opening dance on my future marriage. And if my boyfriend would disagree, then I'd cancel the whole thing

  • @ninni14 *gets down on one knee* Will you marry me?

  • @ninni14 It is good enough to cancel a wedding over.

  • @ninni14

Dont be so drastic:) He would like that idea for sure ! I know i would :)

  • @ninni14 i'll play for you any song you want; just say "yes"

  • this is a gorgeous work of a genius, no doubts

  • nothing could touch the connection between James Page and Jon Paul Jones...

  • @JRBUDS Ummm, Keith Richards and Charlies Watts. Enough said.

  • this would make Jimmie Page tear up....

  • this got me high.

  • In this picture, Jack White kinda looks like Trevor Moore from the Whitest Kids U' Know. :p

  • Omfg, this song is amazing..................................

I think it might be my favorite song by Jack White.. it's just soo... blues-y and so much feeling in everyone in the band. It's fucking... amazing.

  • Does it sound to anyone like there are parts of the song that are played backwards?

  • @inj3cti0n no doubt

  • @inj3cti0n yeah, some parts remind me of Hendrix's "Are You Experienced?"

  • @inj3cti0n Definite mixing in the vocals no doubt

  • Dazed and Confused - Led Zeppelin

  • sigh.

    musical perfection <3

  • was this four years ago already?

  • Sexy

  • this like Since Ive been loving you of the raconteurs

  • jack white sounds like robet plant here imo....

  • oh my fucking god!! I FUCKING SERIOUSLY THOUGHT THIS GUY MIXED UP A SONG FROM LED ZEPPELIN WITH RACONTEURS!!

JACKS VOICE COMES SOOO CLOSE TO ROBERTS IN THIS SONG

    EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCC~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @anallydead i was gonna say the same thing...

  • about 12 years ago i was in a friend's car and we both were listening the pink floyd's dark side of the moon (for me the best as an album). it was the track called the great gig in the sky playing when my friend asked what i liked to "use" while listening pink floyd's music. the answer was: absolutely nothing... for me music is like the trigger of my super loaded brain full of all i need to fly or to go anywhere i want... all i do is turn the lights off and push the play button. drugs? f*ck NO!

  • @YTmv71 yes. thank you. :)

  • good, if only there would be some background noise, and some strange sounds... ,it seems like everyone likes those superclean sounds... they feel so empty....

  • Are the weird swirly sounding parts a backmasked track?

  • i imagine some of you think this song is about drug use... i interpret it as being about... well... to put it simply... putting your face in a pair of big titties... everything's okay when i'm in between those blue veins...

  • i'm thinking of doin' this song 4 the talent show.... should i? any ideas?

  • I just drunk my cup of coffee and i think i hear this song backwards... pfff caffeine is not for me...

  • How the fu*ck did they make that?!

When i buy this album i was 10.

  • white is the man, great guitarist and great vocalist, and for everyone dissing him and comparing him to zepplin, have you ever thought that maybe page is a fan of his. i bet he is, he knows good musicianship. All you want to continually talk shit about this artist and that artist. The truth is, you couldn't do it could you. Atleast make music if you are goin to diss someone elses.

  • @mikeyh03841 i saw Jimmy Page and Jack White on the cover of Rolling STone together one time. It was beautiful

  • Let me preface this comment with this thought: Led Zeppelin is my favourite band. The White Stripes are definitely in my top 5. However, this song does sound ridiculously like "Since I Been Lovin' You."

  • Crimen Sollicitationis

  • Actually it's some 35 years between the haydays of Zepp and Jack's. Each generation deserves a new chapter in Rock history. I'm lucky to know both. So sad U2 didn't make it so clearly.

By the way, if Jack White is ~36 y.o. he is likely to been conceived while Plant and Page were rockin'.

  • this would be a good song to fuck...dont you think?

  • @udirtyslut Sloppy, drunken sex maybe

  • Comment removed

  • @kiloggolik bahahahaha mmmmmm thats even better

  • oohh u dirty slut XD

  • @udirtyslut you want to fuck the song?

  • @tiluc658 bahahahahaha shut up you know what i meant....

  • @udirtyslut anything with a beat could be good to fuck too, perspectives a mutha fucka

  • @PilotScubaSteve mmmm true....and so are my buttcheex bahahaha jk

  • I think its funny everyone defending Zeppelin and dis-ing Jack..But hey..He is a genius as were Plant and Page..This track is pure gold.

  • opiates and this song are the perfect match.

  • the first time i heard this song, i thought: "I've never heard this Led Zeppelin song before..." then found out it wasn't them at all. I LOVE this song. I can't believe Jack White can sing that much like Robert Plant, especially at 1:22 where his voice gets really high and Plant-like. In love with that voice, whether it belongs to Plant or Jack White.

  • this song is so sexy!! <3

  • maaan iiiimm fucking highhhhH!!!!! thiiss song is the shitt!

  • does anyone have this song backwards? Cause in the middle he's saying something but it's intentionally recorded backwards.

    Anyone have the backwards version?

  • @VisForVampire

I haven't checked, but I'm pretty sure it's just one of the verses played backwards.

  • i love this song

  • these guys have a very similar sound to the infamous led zeppelin.

  • @BIGCARRI Infamous???

  • i would do anything for an hour or two alone with jack!

  • WOW!

  • can someone tell me if this song is about drugs or not

  • @isatacobell it's not

  • @isatacobell hum, good question.

  • @isatacobell It's about whatever you want it to be bro,

  • @isatacobell

No it's not about drugs. I use to be involved w/ a guy that was good friends w/ him.

  • Reminds me of Led zep a little

  • @RSRatornra I see what you mean. but led zep had a more traditional blues style. I think of The Black Keys

  • @yanawa7 I suppose i can see that

  • @yanawa7 But dat voice is so Robert Plant like

  • @RSRatornra yeah but no one can really compare to Plant, especially when he had an extremely unique key

  • reminds me so much on New Year's Eve 2008-2009...Monte Carlo <3...Zebra...

  • I like The Raconteurs.

  • thanks for uploading the song in good quality :)

  • the raconteurs are amazing, they're so versiitile, you have songs like this that then change to songs such as salute your solution. they are fantastic.

  • This is the blues influence that was present in The White Stripes and that has been carried over to the Racontours, thank you Jack White

  • One of, if not, the best song Jack white has ever done and that is hard cause he's done a lot.

  • Wow, he really sounds like Robert Plant in this song.

  • u don't need drugs while listening to this song. this song is a drug man!

  • @LoveJFrusciante does make it all the sweeter

  • @LoveJFrusciante makes it even better though :P

  • @LoveJFrusciante sweet name btw

  • @LoveJFrusciante yeah, but drugs help

  • anyone get i want you shes so heavy vibes?

  • @xanthick yes.

  • 2:30 finaly we get to hear jack sing in his normal voice :D

  • en esta cancion jack white tiene la misma voz que robert plant... es identica!!!

  • Les raconteurs, White Stripe et The Dead Weather :)

Fait du bien aux oreilles .

  • @48waldo I even think jack white is better than the edge

nothing against the edge he got his own style but he just plays the song

the vid of blue veins in it might get loud is just pure awesomeness

  • Has anyone seen 'It might get loud'? It's awesome. Jack White easily ranks with some of the great guitarists of all time. No lie.

  • @48waldo i cant say he ranks with jimmy page as he is just unworldly good however i would definitely say jack is the most inspirational and inspired of the lot.....also it just proved how big of a tool the edge is

  • @48waldo i agree, technique and emotion are to different things. I like the feel of Jack.

  • @48waldo You can tell Jack White is good whenever anything he puts his name on becomes great and sells more than it should.

  • @48waldo yes i own it and yes he is one of the top 20 best artist's ever

  • @48waldo yes it was awesome

  • @48waldo I saw it yesterday, it was great. Jack building that one sting guitar in the beginning..awesome!

  • @48waldo i just saw it today and loved it. i thought it was so interesting to see how little he came from. like how he was really starting to become a musician where rock was nowhere to be found. thats just a testament to how amazing he is.

  • @48waldo I just ordered it last night. I've been looking at it for quite a while and i'm so freaking excited. I heard Jack White and Jimmy Page in the same movie?! JESUS! And I guess the Edge is ok.

  • @48waldo Awesom they have choosen 3 in an exept period of Rock Music!

    Jimmy Page: Hard Rock

    The Edge: Punk Rock

    Jack White: Garage Rock

  • @LatinumRechi, the edge=punk rock!?!? wtf

  • @pagurovivo U2 was punk when they first started. (when they were a good band) they stopped being good at the album "Zooropa"

  • @LatinumRechi sorry, u2 isnt punk. its more progressive rock

  • @150peacemaker

how is u2 prog rock in the slightest? king crimson and gentle giant, they were prog rock, u2 is just pop rock at best.

  • Fuck anyone got any smack?

  • Is this song about Heroin?? I mean I wouldn't be surprised...

  • Woah man, I just stumbled across this and... AMAZING!

I can't seem to pinpoint the genre though... Help?!

  • @RavenHairedMaiden The genre is known as "awesome"

  • @RavenHairedMaiden i would say blues....and yeah this is awesome!

  • @LoveSVSPN

    Blues?

Steady as she goes and Level don't sound like Blues >___>

  • @RavenHairedMaiden this particular song is... but in gemeral they are rock...alternative...i thought you ment this song LOL

  • If you've seen it might get loud (documentary, its a great movie) they show footage of Jack playing this song and its amazing... his fingers are bleeding, and its full of soul.

    Great song.

  • First time I heard this I thought it was Zeppelin.

  • @MysticalNomad21 I was on Pandora listening to the Radiohead station and this song came on and I thought it was an unknown (to me) Beatle's song... I'm glad I heard this song though!

  • honestly i wasnt thrilled about dead weather. they had like one song i liked, besides jack already had two bands that are amazing

  • this song in my opinion rivals some of the ones in my hendrix collection in terms of how much i like them.....and thats saying somthing for me, i love it

  • jack dropped the dead weather label

  • @mightybong1 ... Are you kidding ??? or for real ???

  • @mightybong1 sweet cuz that shit was fucking terrible

  • where do i find the mp3 to download ?

  • Reverse the beginning and get a kick ass blues part.

  • Could anyone tell me some more bluesy songs by these guys or the white stripes?

I'm liking the way Jack plays and writes.

    THE BLUES MUST LIVE ON

  • @LoNgLiVeRoCk1234

    ball and a biscuit/white stripes

  • @LoNgLiVeRoCk1234 Stop Breaking Down, Cannon, Instinct Blues, and tons of other stuff by the White Stripes. You should check out the song, Will There be Enough Water by The Dead Weather, who are completely amazing. Jack White and L.J are both in that band along with Alison Mosshart (Kills) and Dean Fertita (WaxWings.)

  • @ILoveJackWhite3 I have to thank you. I listened to Stop Breaking Down then Cannon, and I ended up getting their whole debut album. I should have just checked their roots. Thanks

  • @LoNgLiVeRoCk1234 No problem, always love getting people to listen to awesome music! Glad you loved it!

  • I'm a man, and Jackys music can't rape the willing. (:
