Yes my dear, he's a new member well he isn't really new now. But he replaced Luminor a couple months ago, because he decided to stop with making music at the band Cinema Bizarre. Because he had problems with his health. And ofcourse his health is more important then music. As much as I hate genre-squabbling, I had to step in here. Dir en Grey are absolutely not visual kei, they're just a metal band who happen to be from japan. Neither their music or their image have anything in common with VK, it's like saying Metallica are a glam band just cause they happen to come from California in the mid '80's. Visual Kei is stuff like Malice Mizer and old Luna Sea. I wouldn't call Cinema Bizarre VK but they're more VK than Diru are for sure. Diru would probably agree.

Dir en Grey, who did have VK elements when they first started out, ditched that scene years ago, and their music now has more in common with Slipknot than with Malice Mizer. They don't have any of the androgynous and high fashion elements left from VK. Pantera started out influenced by the 80's glam scene, would you call Fucking Hostile a glam song?

Cinema Bizarre THINKS they are VK, but they fail horribly both in looks and music.1998-2002 Dir En Grey were full on VK, 2002-2005 they got less and less VK. They've never had similiar music to Malice Mizer, they were all goth rock. Dir En Greys music is only more like Slipknot (and other hardrock bands) now because Kyo screams more, they still have that VK/J-Rock sound.
