@rakokuchan The Miku wig I have here did have a few. Some of them were taken cared of with this tutorial, however those that didn't, I had to yank out really quick making sure to be as close to the "root" of the strand.

@GagAndBoreMe2019 As long as the heat is on the LOWEST setting as possible. And the wig is made out of japanese fibers. But otherwise, it'll be fine. XD If you're nervous about it, take a piece of the very bottom of the wig (and hidden beneath the rest) and test it out there. As long as you follow the steps, you'll be fine.
@CHIUGazeRock I bought it second hand from a friend but she told me she ordered it off of ebay from Cosplaywigs. ^^ Any wigs made from japanese fibers or is heat resistant are really good quality wigs. I usually get all mine on ebay.
@Picligto Depends on how well you take care of your wig. I've made it through 3 cons before I had to go through the whole process again. Keeping a brush handy and washing your wigs before doing the process all over helps a lot.
Thanks to your awesome videos, I've been able to pretty successfully detangle. I still however, have a pretty severe kink right in the front in the bangs. Any suggestions on resolving a kink?

@YukiOrihime The only thing you can do is to follow along with the curls to avoid it from straightening out. I have yet to see if that will work myself so I shall experiment and see if that works. The only other option you can do is to look up wig tutorials on curling wigs. I'm sorry I can't provide much help but this has me curious now and if I do find a way for curly wigs, I will make sure to put up a tutorial.

@zizi994 I haven't had any issues with my pigtails tangling during a convention and it actually made it through two without it seriously tangling. At one point it will start to but all I did was run my fingers through it and it was fine. No matter what, a wig will tangle but by using these products, I've had very little trouble. ^^

I'm not used to straight hair or long wigs, so I was so worried when I came home from a cosplay to find it tangled as hell. Feels good to know that it's not dead, and that I don't have to be quite as careful brushing than I thought (it wasn't doing shit when I was worried lol)

@haloheroine You're very welcome! I know, I was not happy that I bought the wig and it was in terrible condition but I couldn't afford a brand new one. I had to share what I discovered, thanks to my mom getting me the detangler spray, because I know how depressing it is to get a long wig and it's at a point that you just can't save it and wasted so much money. Not a good feeling.
@TheShinedOn You can still use this tutorial but you will have to find a tutorial on how to curl wigs. There's different choices: for heat resisting wigs use the curling iron, put curlers in the wig spray with hairspray and go over with the hair dryer or use the curlers and dump boiling water over it and let it sit and dry over night.
My straightener is one of those Chi ones and I don't know how hot it gets because I can't control the temperature. But the place I got my wig from said that it's heat resistant but i'm to afraid that it will melt my wig to try and use it do you think that it will melt my wig?
@purplelily44 The only thing you can do is to choose a small strand beneath the wig where you won't see it. It's usually better to find a straightener that you can adjust the heat levels, especially for wigs. You can probably run it through quickly to see what it does. If it starts to krinkle, stop. @kawaiichibibunny I believe you can. Just soak the wig in water and conditioner for maybe 10 minutes or a little more, dab it a little with a towel, and set it on a wig head to air dry. ^^ I'm not entirely sure if you're suppose to use specific conditioners but I think it'll be alright.
@xoBecka X3 I hope it works well for you! Basically, any sort of oil sheen spray will work, as well as any detangling spray. Those products I recommended because they were really cheap but worked really well. I hope you do find what you need!
@sammy12534 Styling I'm still a newbie at it as well and haven't really found a good way to style wigs just yet. I wish I could help. >.< I do know someone however who has done wig styling for a while now so I can ask her if she has a video on styling wigs and send you a message. I don't believe it's Kanekalon though, the texture is different from the Kanekalon wigs that I have. >.< I wish I knew more about it. But that's it.
@meggo48 So happy it is! Most likely, use the middle of the settings. And you can do a test on a small piece of the wig. Then you can figure out from there if it needs to go up higher or not.

One question though. What if your hair straightener doesn't have specific temperature settings? Like (my sisters) has settings of 1-25.
