Hey Ateamrunit, I noticed that in this video you mentioned that the sound volume level could be better, what do you mean by that? When the stereo is volume is on max, the IPOD music doesn't sound loud? If you can post a video of the volume of the radio and then switching over to the IPOD, that would be great. Just want to get an idea of how much sound volume is lost.

I had done this installation over a yer ago when the harness was still being proto-typed. I had to make my own by just hard wiring the makeshift harness to my XM/NAV unit in the trunk. I finally bought the right harness 3 weeks ago. If you are going to buy the same thing for your car Buy it from Autotoys.com and look up PERIPHERAL PGHHD2C HARNESS : #14761. its like $30 or less plus shipping of course. This comes with the XM harness and a 20ft. cable for your Ipod/Iphone. Does 3GS to
Hey dude nice tl. I have one myself, an 07 tl type s. My question to you is how did you get your iPod to read the names of the songs. When I got my tl I got installed at the dealer the iPod adapter that comes straight from the radio to the glove department. But when I hit aux it just reads track one and so and so. Doesn't read to me the name of the song nor the artist. Only tracks!!! So please let me know how you were able to get that done!!! Thanks fellow TL member.
ahhh tl type s people! im reallllly considering saving up for a huge downpayment on an '08 or '08 whatever type s cause they seem like excellent cars! only thing, i do nottttt like honda's cars and being acura is made of honda, im skeptical.... do you guys totally love yours?? what do you hate about it?? im just looking for feedback. im 17 in NC and currently have an '05 mazda3 5-door. planning to buy the tl in a year or two :)
Hey I just wanted to say... I think your TL Type-S is one amazing car! The first time I saw one I fell right in love with it! My brother has an 07' with a 6spd manual & he's going to sell it to me at the end of the summer. I have a C6 Corvette but, it's my only car. I need a back seat & something that can go in the snow with snow tires. The Vette is too low lol. Hopefully I can afford to have both. We'll see with this economy =( Anyway, best of luck with your Type S man! ~Chris

Depends on the mode its in. Like XM it can show either the song or artist.

Thanks, I figured out what to do when it locks up. Just hit your mode button on your steering wheel and then switch it using your tune knob.
