  • As the title says, "Taiwan Style". At that intersection, it is much safer to pull over to the side and wait rather that sitting in the middle waiting to turn as on many occasions I have done it the correct way only to have someone come flying from behind trying to go around me to turn right. You need to learn the tricks to survive...

  • curious why you pulled over to the left side of the road to stop (when you first entered the big road) and then took off on the wrong side of the road?

  • The adorable boy at the end of the video must be your son i suppose. (:

  • You're going to need to position it further back so that it points higher. People would rather see the buildings than the pavement directly in front of your bike. My camera has troubles pointing high enough as well.

  • Yes, I noticed that after I played it back. I only need to move the camera back about 1cm and from the curve of the helmet, it makes a huge difference to the view...

Just trying to make a collection of all those things we love to hate about Taiwan traffic, that we see each day...

  • @13mordeth ^ The master of biking videos ^

  • Some things to look out for:

    1. At 1:30, watch the old lady run across the road to beat to change of lights...

    2. At 3:45, watch the motorscooter go straight through the red light...

    3. At 4:20, watch the old lady start to cross the road just as I get a green light to go.

Today, was pretty much event free... for a change... Which should be a good thing...
