Just got done listening to Charlie Rich's version. I tend to agree with Chris in that I think this version has a bit more soul. Larry Jon is just the man.
I have heard Charlie's version. And as much as I love Charlie Rich I have to say I like this version better. Larry actually has more soul in his voice and that is saying a lot because the silver fox had a TON of soul...

I got it, it's great, soulful and very untypical. Just Charlie and a guitar and no piano at all.
