I can't believe I finally found this! I remember first seeing it late night on Cartoon Network and fell in love with the song instantly. Thank you for posting this!
I'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIND THIS FOR YEARS. My dad did some work on this a while ago and he never got accredited for it when I saw it on Cartoon Network years ago. I still have an older version with no color on VHS!
i remember being 3 or years old and being in vero beach florida over christmas and seeing this on cartoon network. i can still remember my dad saying "thats fucked up, that guys is gonna screw a monkey." lmao
OMG! I remember this great short from my days working in at a particular film production company. As I recall, this was submitted for a local film festival & we at the company were judging some of the entries & someone came across this gem. We played it over & over again. Haven't seen this in over a decade. Don't know how it did in festivals but it sure deserved to win something! That song is terrific. So funny. Good luck showing it today with all the politically correct b.s.! Cheers.
Oh my God, I haven't seen this since I was a kid!!! I know my mom ADORED this!!! ^^D

I really like the characters' facial expressions, and the music is terrific. where can I find the mp3?
thorsilvershammers 2 years ago
the music is "Vahini Anamite" performed by Bimbo & les Royal Tahitians.
i found this site had the individual tune available for download -
folk-mp3-1-40.lyricstemple(dot com)/240c4a14.html
you can also find more here -
allmusicimport(dotcom)/1170431.html
(replace (dotcom) with the actual "." and "com". seems that youtube don't allow no URLs!)
hope that helps
