Nothing special about this phone except the 4G. I wouldn't want to be trapped by Hellstra for 24 months just for this handset. I'll wait until May for the Samsung Galaxy S3 and other networks start rolling out their 4G.

As great as it sounds, the Telstra network isn't actually TRUE 4G, it's just standard 3G that runs on the higher 850Mhz frequency. Needless to say it's still better speeds than normal 3G.
@EspionageAJ I believe in metropolitan zones it is "True 4G" The LTE 4G network runs on the 1800Mhz spectrum and can roll onto the 850Mhz if there is no 4G coverage.
@EspionageAJ You are thinking of the Telstra Next G network which is HSPA+, and runs faster than standard 3G. The new 4G LTE network runs on the 1800MHz frequency, and will give you real life speeds of up to 40MBps, as already demonstrated by a couple of tech websites.
@muteLABS from what i've been told, by someone who works for Telstra, no it's not 3.5G or any other "type of variant" it's not actually TRUE 4G, just running on a higher frequency.
