  • @foxfire180 Ya la encontré, es Bacalao con pan :)

  • Who is the Violin player?

  • Awesome!

  • great stuff!! love it

  • Me imagino. Esas cosas pasan. Me ha pasado lo mismo. Dios bendiga Internet, jajaja.

  • JaZZZamatazz

  • jazz on brother

  • Bless G. Dalto ! He worked a lot with Georges Benson, and he really introduced in the world, what we call now "fusion jazz"...

    Thanks Master Dalto !

  • George Dalto, was one of the most amazing pianist ever in the latin jazz scene. I knew him personally, and can attest to this man's ability as a musician and soloist. He was nothing short of amazing. Even Hilton would agree were he still around. RIP Dalto, Hilton, TP.

  • @googo151

but nothing comper with Chucho Valdez

  • @kmpireee chucho sucks compared to dalto. dalto has soul

  • the name of the album?

    el nombre del disco?

  • Alfredo de la Fre on violin plays a lot in the way of Jean Luc Ponty....who I remember best from Overnight Sensations with Zappa and a tune called 50/50

  • i like this----the melodious, percussive nods, stirring the freaking out of the cello, and then synchronizing; its a magic realism of music

  • wow, I have this cd and I always wanted to see it live. Thanks for this video..

  • What's he name of the cd??

  • "Tito Puente Live at the Montreux" Thats the title I have on the CD or it could be just "live at the montreux" Search it on google Im sure you will find it somewhere.

  • @RicoRicanNYC :

  • @kmpireee He didn't copy it he just played it. I'm going to go play it now, is that copying?

  • You can see how santana got the idea from Tito

  • This is the original Latin Jazz Ensemble from

Martin Cohen and the LP. Then came the Tito Puente Latin Jazz Ensemble.

  • Camden Electric Ball Room 1982*** This is Coup D'eat .A firing Squad Line up...Serious Assasins on the loose! *** BaRe MaDneSS!!!

A Musical Excursion to outta Space.

  • This would have come out better if it had Jerry Gonzales in conga ,and hilton Ruiz in the piano, dalto and patato are not that great, still i like this version better than irakere!

  • anything is possible.Love it!!!Thanks.

  • I remember when this concert came out on vinyl many years ago. Anyone know if it's available in CD or DVD?

Gracias.

  • Húú, de furcsa salsa ritmusban hangzó hegedűt hallgatni! Mennyire más, mennyire jó! :))

  • Irakere whats shit!

  • locinty, the only recording i like from irakere is pan con bacalao,in my opinion, irakere had great musicians, however

to me,they were not that great.they just didnt

    flow!

  • Bacalao Con Pan

  • Grande Tito... Grande el Jazz

  • Very nice, thnx for posting :)

  • Wow! this is old stuff. Alfredo de la fe, is a skinny kid here with beard. George Dalto on piano. May he rest in peace. He was the baddest latin jazz pianist ever. For those of you that never heard of this guy or ever got to see him play; this guy can play anything. One of the nicest people too. Sweet man! Argentian I believe he was. And of course the master LP man himself, TP. RIP!

    googo

  • These guys are the best. A homage to Irakere

Tan fino y agresivamente decadente sinfonico, mi estilo favorito...

  • Respect Tchalla. For those who know, and remember the real original London Jazz sessions.

  • I been dancing to this track for years in London Jazz rooms, so it is great to actually see it being performed (quite surreal in fact). Thanks for posting this.

  • Mazacote gordo! El Patato, the most melodic of all congueros. Mongo on quinto would have put the icing on the cake.

  • The LPJE Allstars @ Montreaux perf Bacalao con Pan-a truly awesome audiovisual moment! This is what real music is about.Did the late great Jorge Dalto ever record a bad record(now that's a rhetorical question)! To all those who remember dancin'to this @ Paul Murphy's Electric Ballroom fusion dance sessions circa 1982-84.

  • Orchestra IRAKERE of CUBA coat the subject fish with Bread, but this version of TITO PUENTE is another thing

new JAZZ and LATINJAZZ, Brilliant, Crazy, Surprising. MONTREAUX TOUR L.P.PRODUCTIONS
