Please be advised the every fire department in the world has someone sporting a FDNY shirt of ball cap. The Martin Horn 2297GM is currently in use with the whelen electronic siren by the Buffollo NY Fire Department. Down here in Puerto Rico, The Veterans have a Disaster Rescue team that uses the Martin Horn 2297GM and their Suicide Intervention Squad has just ordered them for their Crown Vics and Yukons. Expensive but worth it win combined with a Q or electronic siren. We use all three.
I love this video What a great combination the Federal Q and the Martins Horn. I'd like to hear this more in the USA. Where can you. Buy it in America?
Great response! It's great to see departments outside the US. Funny thing is, except for the Spannish on the radio, it could have been a US department. You guys aren't getting rid of any of the Whelen X-Ecutors are you?
ja ja oye martin , parece que sakaste peqeñas ronchas en germani , pero en las sirenas me parecio muy bonita la combinacion de una federal q con el clasico "pa-pi" europeo
haha nice ! didn't know u crazy guys have german martin horn ! :-) nice to hear. but hi - lo sounds much better in my opinion. in my old german fire dept. we could drive only with the german martin horn or additionally with hi - lo in the background what is forbidden normally. damn germany !!! love the US sirens !
Martin-Horn, from Germany... Its nearly standard on all German Fire engines ( except ones with electronic sirens) and some Ambulances ( all ambulances in Frankfurt A.m. have them)
The main advantage is that you can easily distinguish weather they the vehicle is coming towards you, or going away, not to mention that they are rated at 125 decibels at 1 meter
Please do not forget that there are two different horns. One we call "Cityhorn" (it´s not so loud and crafty like that you hear in the video. But normaly we use the "Landhorn" or in english "countryhorn".
There're still a few producers of airhorns. The most known are hella and techno design. exspecially hella has got a big catalogue of different airhorn for example the cityhorn and the landside horn.

@d3luxxee hella macht keine Presslufthörner
SchultenSeb 1 year ago
@ SchultenSeb
hört man doch deutlich besser

BORING looking at a guy driving.
Please aim camera forward.
Anyone wearing seat-belts?
I like the fire dog in the window.
robertgift 2 years ago 3
I agree ... I will call this guy and ask him not just to be a good firefighter but also a good camera man
amaggio2002 2 years ago
I was nice seeing everyone and himself.
But he lingered on driver and officer far too much.
The beginning of the video was interesting seeing how drivers reacted.
Also nice to see the city and roadways and signals, etc.
Please keep making more videos.
If possible from beginning to arrival on scene.

and another is called "hänsch" i think...

No se usa todo en forma simultanea. El papi y una de las sirenas + el claxon
