Its exactly the controllers of religions rather then the religion itself, like the catholic church that bring a very convincing argument that evil does actualy exist in the form that they portray it; trough their acts of extreme violence and inhumanity. If anything the church makes it easier to believe in the existence of satan than that of jezus, especialy by looking at its behaviour throughout history.
