  • in 1987 I looked out my office window near Dulles airport and saw this fly right past my window... 747 with a shuttle on back.... theres something you dont see everyday

  • somebody quick start the shuttle

  • @cihper2 hahahaha

  • So is this like, airplane porn?

  • 747 + space shuttle having sex = ???

  • @yoDog421 no, it's AN 225 "Mriya" ("dream") plus "Buran" - Soviet space shuttle.

  • @mk120d Awesome!

  • @mk120d Uhm, that is a Boeing 747 converted to a Nasa Shuttle Carrier...

  • @Elthehablo yes, you right, my mistake.

  • The queen of the skies is not pregnant. :P

  • I really just don't see the reason to make a plane with a spaceshuttle above.

  • And thats how planes are made. lol

  • mom and baby :D

  • No the 747 is going to have interracial commercial space shuttle babies!! :D

  • lol, the 747 is gonna have space shuttle babies

  • SURPRISE BUTTSECKS

  • is that the b747 or something else?

  • @mwmatthewkc51 its an antov 225 i think

  • @BThoreson09 no because antovs have 3 angines on the side, contains more wheels, and the tale is differnet

  • @BThoreson09 @BThoreson09 yeah it actually is the b 747 after watching this video: antonov an-225 mriya/buran shuttle nato code... by jatlavaksolider

  • so this is how they make more planes...

  • Black birrdd

  • ***David Attenborough voice***

And while it is the mating season an land, its far from different in the skies. As demonstrated in this clip of a couple getting ready to mate in the air. when it comes back down it will be pregnant with f-16 fighter jest soon to grow into and airbus A380

  • We saw this several times, whenever the Shuttle was forced -- due to bad weather, in Florida --- to land at Edwards A.F.B., Ca.

It then went back, "piggy-back" fashion, as in this video , to Florida.

    .

  • omg, are they mating?

  • I totally misunderstood the title... I thought the 747 was gonna land on an aircraft carrier with that shuttle on it's back.

    Silly me.

  • WTF THEY DIDN"T ACTUALLY SHOW THE LANDING!!!!

  • In 1971 a guy named Kyle and his gf Emily entered a house that claimed people's lives.the next day a guy named Alex saw finger nail marks on the door

  • @soccermusic1000 Duuuu Duuuuuh DUUUUUUUUUM

  • @soccermusic1000 Epic fail.

  • flying fuck.....

  • It's sex...

  • @adoviv95 dude what are you smoking that a 747 and if that were a 787 it what still be on the runway because it couldn't support the weight.

  • Everybody always forgets about Enterprise!

  • I love how this was even an option

  • He's wondering where the hell the space shuttle is.

  • no sound..... :(

  • '

american space shuttle and jumbo jetplane are the best in the world,,,

ussr russia is so cheap, copy steal, low life, poor buran shuttle with an225

  • the pilot is millionaire xD

  • Fantastic Video

  • how does that thing fly??

  • @jm431 There are four forces... Thrust, lift, weight, and drag... I'm not getting into it lol.

  • is this just for transportation? LIke the spacecraft has returned from space, and this is just a way to take it back to nasa? I know these ae dumb questions. I just want to know whats going on here.

  • @caveman357 - Years ago if I remember correctly, the space shuttle would land out in the west at an Air Force Base. I think it was too risky to others to land in Florida. But with new navigation technology they can now land in Florida. Though they would land elsewhere if the weather was bad in Florida. They used the 747 to fly it back since the space shuttle can't fly on its own. I remember as a kid watching it land at Kellies Air Force Base to refuel before going to Florida.

  • @AtlRacerBoyz The only reason the shuttle landed at Edwards AF base in California was because of bad weather in Florida or mods that were done to the orbiters. They tested the mods at Edwards. Navigation was the same at both locations. GPS was added to the orbiters years ago and used in both locations...

  • Copycats, Russians did it first.

  • @123ATOM321 And Germany came up with the whole concept.

  • I can just imagine the discussion at NASA: they're trying to design a special plane to take the shuttle up to the stratosphere and someone says, "Why not just put it on the back of a 747?"

  • @Morganizer That was a 787, just to let you know. On a 747, the shuttle would smash through it.

  • @AdiViv95 You are wrong, sir. The plane is obviously a 747.

  • @AdiViv95 it is a 747...

  • @AdiViv95 Incorrect, it's a 747. NASA has never owned any 787's.

  • @AdiViv95 Its a 747 and amazingly enough, the shuttle doesnt smash through it. Not one time in its 30 years of service did those planes ever have a problem lifting the shuttle

  • Looks like radioactive flyes having sex

  • i work on aircraft almost everyday, but this still amazes me. i have to laugh :P

  • But why?

  • well... have you seen the superman movie? what if a malfunction happens like in the movie, there wont be any superman near by to rescue everyone.... its no go. very very dangerous, considering the 747 is carrying people... would be better if special 474 were built only for this purpose....

  • well... have you seen the superman movie? what if a malfunction like happens like in the movie, there wont be any superman near by to rescue everyone.... its no go. very very dangerous, considering the 747 is carrying people... would be better if special 474 were built only for this purpose....

  • i heard you like boeing

so we put a boeing space shuttle on a boeing 747 so you can fly in a boeing while you fly on a boeing

  • this plane pretty much just screws physics in the asshole

  • this would be more exciting to see the shuttle carry the 747

  • I've always wondered this.. I'm guessing the shuttle has no fuel but what is the empty weight? does the 747 need special support for the shuttle on top?

  • @SubaruB4RSK The 747 is gutted on the inside with fuselage reinforcements. The residual fuels are removed for the most part but that doesnt add much weight. Depending what orbiter your talking about, the weight is 185,000 to 200,000 pounds. Also the payload bay usually has some kind of returning payload in it. Todays 747's can carry twice that weight. So the orbiters weight is not a problem.

  • @aimhigh59 Thanks so much for clearing that up!

  • Amazing

  • Aaawwww!!!

  • baby airplane: weeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!....one more!!!

  • First see in my life.anwar.bangladesh

  • Wow that's crazy

  • tuyet

  • Comment removed

  • SO CUTE :)

  • gay

  • IDIOT where is the landing, i only see it almost touch the ground -.-"

  • I listen to whale music.

  • @sora41333 lol

  • 未だに不思議でたまらない~~~

    こんなに重い物が宙に浮き飛ぶのは・・・^^;

  • cute

  • why does it takeoff and comes backi with the shuttle

  • mummy taking junior for a ride.

  • there not using rocket any more there using dual bullet

  • just a bit top heavy....

  • i thought two planes were fucking

  • My brother Markus Bott had been tortured during 5.5 years by the German BND,the former GESTAPO. I recorded more than 100 videotapes which ended up in the legal system. My brother was tortured during 1.5 years despite several legal procedures pending. He was assassinated on July 11th 2009 because of our homepage, linked on my channel, and our book Der Totalitäre Staat. If my homepage disappears, the BND will have assassinated me as well

Thumps up if you want the BND to stop torturing my parents

  • y cant they jst fly the shuttle by itself?/

  • @TheRoyalFuzzybug With what engines?

  • i wonder what the 747 handles like with the shuttle

  • I've trained for the Fra Mauro highlands... and this is FLIGHT SURGEON HORSESHIT, Deke!

  • I've trained for the Fra Mauro highlands... and this is FLIGHT SURGEON HORSESHIT, Deke!

  • is plane porn on youtube allowed???

  • i still dont understand why this is necessary

  • @TheNeonTide If the Shuttle couldn't land at Canaveral and had to land at Edwards instead, this was the way to get it back to the launcher in FL.

  • @TheNeonTide its the only way to transport it, in case the shuttle lands elsewhere...the shuttle is way too heavy to take off and fly on its own. plus its not really geared for atmospheric fligh on its own (unless its on a landing approach)

  • whew and wow awsome

  • Nasa a world of creation ...

  • If something goes wrong during landing and the shuttle can't land for whatever reason, can it sustain itself in flight until it's able to land somewhere else? Or does it just keep falling to earth?

  • @Rushfan32935 - once it reenters the Earth's atmosphere, the shuttle orbiter is a glider with no power other than the manoevering thrusters it uses in orbit, which are next to useless at low altitude. So no, it can't sustain itself in flight.

  • A380 is better :) or antonov 225

  • i've seen those pass by near Antwerp, belgium, Europe, many years ago. Don't remember anymore when it happened.

  • mechanical sex

  • Boeing 747's power..

  • Boeing 747's power..

  • We put a shuttle on yo plane so you can fly while you fly

  • SUPERMAN?

  • Because, asshole, the last separation was in october 1977 with the SS "Enterprise".So,you were still in the balls of your father if you are 24 actually and playing Call of duty on your profile.Lier...

  • @s3fredo average gamer is 30, just a thought.

  • The most impressive of all is the Antonov 225 with the "Bouran" shutlle on top.Salon du Bourget 1989 in France.

  • The Space Shuttle is fucking the 747 Carrier xDD

  • piggy back on steroids

  • It's like daddy airplane take's baby airplane for a ride, how cute!

  • daddy's carrying his son

  • If The Wright Brothers would see this, I can't even imagine what their reaction would be. Let alone telling that the one at the top is a spacecraft launched by a rocket and returns as a glider.

  • @meteor4163 i thought Santos Dumont (Brazilian_ built the first Airplane for me the Wright Brothers built a Jumping machine that jumped high and long so it looked like it flew but thats my Opinion in Brazil we Beleive in Santos dumont in USA you beleive it was the wright brothers

  • @meteor4163 I think they'd go, "Get that brick with wings off that thing!"

  • @meteor4163 I guess one of the Wright Brother's did live long enough to see some F-14 Jets if I'm not mistaken, or some kind of jet planes. The other brother died early, and always thought he would die early, why would he think that ? I don't get it ? I wish we could go back to the days when American's were innovators and not just Walmart Consumers of made in China products ! Buy American made only, who cares if you have to pay more, your supporting your country !

  • @meteor4163 they would probably faint from disbeleif

  • @meteor4163 imagine there reaction to everything that is around.

  • plane doggy

  • ...you cut off the landing!

  • @airbird747 It's because he stole it from a user

  • wow the space shuttle wanst carrieing it. if you relise the wing on the plane would of had burn marks on it at the end and there isnt

  • no pressure... you just $1.7 billion on your back

  • Will we ever see one of these on a A-380

  • @Orangebike666 probably not...the shuttle program is over or is ending very very soon.

  • @TheNikkonish That's sad

  • Why? Because we can! USA USA USA ahahah.

  • i russia the schuttle fly the jumbo xD

  • HAHAHA when I first saw the picture before to click on it, it seemed so fake that I thought I was gonna get rick rolled!

  • where is the clip of being towed out from? Which orbiter and what airport? Last clip of landing clearly well-after 1982.. it's Columbia and the name is in the "right" spot.. Until 1986 Columbia's name was on the payload bay doors.

  • @John19182004 No orbiter ever had its name painted on their P/L bay doors.

  • @aimhigh59 Uhhh. yes it did!! Look at some photos dumbass. Or give me your email and I'll send some to you. Columbia had ner name on the payload bay doors until after the loss of Challenger, then it was re-done. All others would've been on the payload bay doors, too, until they realized when the doors open on orbit, you can't see the name.

  • @John19182004 Dont understand the foul language but yes your right. Early in the program they did. I was thinking on top of the P/L doors.

  • its like the seatbelt sign is turned on pls sit back in your seats we are haveing slight turbulance

  • chuck norris can stop a that airplane with his dick.

  • @looper310 Hahaha, eat that, Superman

  • BORING .....THIS TECHNOLOGY OF TODAY SUCK .

  • so thats how airplanes are made!!!

  • HOW!?

  • Superman to the rescue

  • It's probably not as much work for the 747 once it gets going. The shuttle must add some lift for it.

  • @Jrink30

No, the shuttle itself doesn't create any lift, that would be bad for the 747's aerodynamics. An empty shuttle orbiter weights around 75 tons, that's well below the maximum capacity the 747 can handle. The much bigger problem is the huge drag the shuttle creates, drastically limiting it's max. range below 2.000km.

  • @blablubb12345 Also dont forget most of the time that a payload is returned as well making this ferry flight even heavier for the 747 to carry.

  • Holy shit, were crashing, everybody get into the space shuttle!

  • what class is the roof?

  • I can't believe a 747 flies in the first place, so this is amazing

  • I wonder if the shuttle wings provide any additional lift to the system...

  • That rig is so damn top heave they added more control surfaces on the tail end

  • @mrmaster245 well noticed =) that is awesome

  • @mrmaster245 Its actually to provide more yaw stability, the shuttle creates so much drag in front of the center of gravity it needs a larger vertical stabilizer.

  • Does the 747 need a special landing gear?

  • it woulf be crazy is the shuttle dosent take off and boing goes to space

  • Worst idea ever.

  • @Triundi How do you figure? It's worked for years and never had any problems. If mounting the shuttle onto a jumbo jet gets it from one place to another, I would say it's not such a bad idea.

  • @Blimp07Productions Lol, just look at it! Sure, it might work; but anyone who hadn't seen the math would have thought it was a crazy idea when the idea first came up.

  • @Triundi And how does that make it the worst idea ever? I'd say it's not too bad of an idea. I agree that at first I would think it's a crazy idea too but after the math has been done and all that, I see now that it's actually a very good idea.

  • @Blimp07Productions You live life too literally. : )

  • LOL...British Double Decker Bus Style....

  • are they going to have little baby planes?? =)

  • the drag on a regular 747 is crazy enough trust me i used to fly them and i never got used to takeoff drag but wat about that drag like seriously

  • ive seen these two planes seperate in mid air in real life what a great thing to watch that was

  • @BMXBOBO ill bet your mommas proud

  • @BMXBOBO

    lier

  • @s3fredo prove it dick head? because i can

  • @BMXBOBO lol

  • @mbenzsl2000 lol ;)

  • SOUND

  • i heard they were going to to start using the 777 as the space shuttle ferry. is that true?

  • @an225gd u saw it on a movie

  • @an225gd Far to small and weak of a plane to lift that shuttle.

  • @an225gd the 777 is only a 2 turbine plane and the 747 is 4

  • it always fun and game till some one gets a bonner

  • that flight was only 30 sec? damn i need to ride one with a shuttle
