You should really consider renaming this video to say maybe ... I make religious videos and now I'm gonna rant or I'm doing okay as a web designer and I can still afford cigarettes. Thought I was going to have to come in here and set another smoker hater straight. Carry on carry on. Maybe rant about the cost of smokes or why are they making me a second class citizen and putting me on house arrest for doing something legal. Just a bit of advice good day.

Just say no. It's that easy. Or tell them you'll sell them one for 25 cents. I used to do that back when I smoked. It gets rid of the freeloaders fast. They were trying to bum half a pack a day.
FYI, I smoked for 40 years. Started when I was 15, quit when I was 55. That was 1 1/2 years ago and I don't think I'll be taking that habit up again. I'm at the point where it doesn't even enter my mind anymore.

I quit smoking after 22 years on Chantix. No, I don't work for them but it did work. Insurance doesn't cover it but in Manhattan (NY), it's cheaper than buying for the month. I like to watch people smoking and think "I bet they wish they didn't smoke" Good luck
I don't want to hate any one group of people, I am very close with smokers. Smokers as a group, have to be the filthiest people who impose their sick habit onto others. And what do smokers do when they are done with the ciggy, throw the remains onto the ground to pollute the environment and also make a visual blight for society to enjoy. Go walk thru an outdoor mall and you have to breath filthy smokers poison. Try to enjoy a coffee outside, you get to inhale cancer thanks to a filthy smokers.

I think a polite thing to do is offer some money for one cigarette. For instance, I rarely smoke. That said, I am not going to buy a pack of smokes. One smoke and I'm good for 6 months. When I say once in a blue moon--I mean it. So I ask for a cig from someone but at the same time offer them whatever I got in my pocket be it 50 cents or a buck. It's a win-win, I get my single smoke and don't waste a pack, they get more than what that single cig is worth in change etc.
I only smoke cigars. Nobody bums cigars cuz they never expect you to have more than 1 (which I almost never do, so it works out) lol.. so I'm safe from that hassle. But I know what you're talking about, I used to work with 5 cigarette smokers and I was the only one who didn't, and I'd see the same two consistently bum cigarettes off the other people. They would get pissed off too because it was such a recurring occurrence during their smoke breaks. So much that they started taking less breaks.
A high school science teacher used to bum cigarette off of me, and he did it to other kids too. He said he smoked the OPC brand (Other People's Cigarettes). I've had complete strangers bum them. Years ago while I was in a big city, I had a street person demand one from me. She was right in my face. I pushed her out of my way and just kept right on smoking. Talk about strange, huh?
