  • hehe, hes so cute:)

Me and my family are thinking of getting a doberman! our friends have three puppies and they want to give us one of them! shes nine months old too, and I can believe how big she might be!

  • nice looking dog.Are Dobermans quite a bit smaller than german shepherds? He looks like a smaller sized dog than I was expecting.

  • @rlta04 Thank you! They are about the same size but a lot leaner and muscular compared to a German Shepherd. Hilo's also still a puppy in the video.

  • Thanks so much!

  • Awesome dog. We have an 8 month old. Having a hard time with the food. What do you feed your dobie?

  • @weluvourdobie He gets an all raw diet. What do you mean by hard time? Not eating?

  • We have tried several different dog foods. He either didn't like the food or have loose stools. My husband just got a book about the raw diet thing, so looking into that option now.

  • @weluvourdobie I would try the raw diet. It's the most natural thing for him to eat. Add a little bit of Vitamin C and K and some fish oil into his food and you should start seeing improvements. You could feed him a little pumpkin to help with the loose stool. Switching his food up too quickly will also cause loose stool so try changing his food gradually over a weeks period. Same as with changing him to a raw diet.

  • Respond to this video... If you live in NC, SC, GA, or FL, look for Blue Ridge Beef. That is where I get Hilo's food from. It's a family owned business and it's whole sale prices.

  • Your dobie is way too damn cute!!!! but the person that cropped his ears didn't do a good job. His ears are SUPER long!!!!!! He/she should have cropped it down a little bit shorter...

  • @scrillah81 Thanks! He's a sweetheart. There are different types of crops. These are long crops ...very hard to get to stand up compared to the short crops. It's all personal preference though. :)

  • @DobermanWorld My dobie had shorter cropped ears. I just don't think that the very long cropped ears are appealing. Although you dog has super long cropped ears, I still think he's a very good looking dog and very cute by the way he behaves, lol. I LOVE dobies!! They're the best and also Dachshunds :)

  • @scrillah81 Opps, I answered you from my Doberman account lol. It's all personal preference. I prefer the long crop for the Dobie look. His ears were actually already done by the breeder's preferred vet when we got him. I like Dachshunds too :) but never had one before.

  • @bmwb7alpina You should really consider getting one!! I despise small dogs, but the Dachshund is definitely an exception to the rule! I bought mine not too long ago and he is 5 months old right now, and I don't regret it at all. I freakin LOVE my doxie! I have never fell in love so much with a dog. I got my dobies a longggggg time ago when I was 10 years old and had them until I was 15, but i was just a kid so I didn't really appreciate them as much as I do with my doxie cuz I'm 29 now :)

  • sweet. grobi is 9 month and is having a hard time with his education. but is doing well alltogether. you have a sweet dog. i will post something on my ninjutsuhh acount about him soon.

  • @ninjutsuHH I'd definitely like to see your dobie! Take him to a training class. It works wonders. Hilo (just turned 1) does extremely well with commands until he's out with other dogs then it's over. So I finally took him to training and he's doing better but we're taking him out more to teach him not to be so excited when he sees other dogs.

  • our dobi does the exact same thing, biting his legs! and i thought he's the only stupid one :D

  • @ninjutsuHH LOL. Hilo does this when he wants attention and to play. Lately he's been barking too. I'll have to upload a video of him swimming for the first time.

  • @ninjutsuHH I made a new account for Hilo under "dobermanworld" with a lot of him growing up and doing different things....like swimming.

  • He's so cute! And is super funny! I love when he put his leg behind his head.
