Can't give ya' specifics (because your BK may have something that you're not mentioning), but, as a generalization, Chapter 7 is created to stop wage garnishments on past judgments. You may want to go to your local "Legal Library" (near your county courthouse) and ask for a book on "How To File Chapter 7 Bankruptcy" (in addition to using our software for the paperwork).
