I have to wonder what happens if the rotation becomes fast enough for the glass to extend beyond the mold. I don't use protective gear for standard glassblowing, but I'd feel awfully vulnerable doing this.
absolute genius, i wish i had the means to do the same, i have a huge amount of passion for creating art from glass but limited means to do it,very inspiring.

I ran a professional glassblowing studio for 30 years. Got bored with it. This is a new challenge.

Nervewracking stuff. It looks impossible that you just scoop it up on a stick to go in the kiln. Fantastic to be able to see this being done.
