  • I have very dry skin... I know you recommended a lot of primers for oily skin but I'm just wondering which primer you would recommand for my type of skin (after I applied moisturizer)? (Very dry around the nose, middle of eyebrows and sometimes on the chin).

Thanks ! -Love ALL your videos!-

**Sorry for my maybe bad english, I'm from Quebec..hahah**

  • I luv u :)

  • I love your videos and i know you have heard many times before you are amazing and talented. My husband jokes and calls you my internet wife because of how much i watch your videos. I value your opinion very much and have bought many products based on that. You have never let me down. I am pregnant now and i have noticed my skin has changed which is a challenge but watching your videos helps. I want to try the origins vitazing you talk about. Where can I get that from?

  • @MakeupByTiffanyD Have you tried the loreal studio secrets face primer?

  • the that gal primer reaaaly broke me out! so you might want to be aware that it could cause some acne

  • do you do wedding makeup and can anyone book you to do their makeup ?

  • how do you dye your hair? i really like your hair style/colors

  • Which Chan Luu is that?! I LOVE IT

  • smashbox has a product its "targeted line and pore primer" and it works soooo well! I bought it because I have some acne scarring and since I have been using it for about 2 or 3 months I have noticed a HUGE difference in the scars as the product is supposed to help improve the look of the lines/scars. Obviously you do not have acne lol but if mac doesn't sell that product you mentioned anymore then definitely give Smashbox targeted pore and line primer!

    xoErica

  • I love that gal by benefit!! It's my favorite, it just seems to give ivory skin a beautiful glow.. However I have tried it on darker skinned clients and it just did absolutely nothing.. I think the laura mercier oil free primer is great for an all around primer as well!

  • Tiffany, I use my BB cream as a primer. Mainly it takes away redness and smooths out my pores and gives light coverage. Then I can add any of my foundations over it and that gives more coverage without looking caked on. Very nice finnish and my foundation stays on till I take it off at night. Missha makes my favorite BB creams. :)

  • can you please do a review on the new bouncy blushes

  • there is a mac now where i live and are mac eye shadow primers good? and are they worth the price?

  • your hair is so long now! jealous!

  • I have the MAC prep and prime. It makes me look cakey. =( idk maybe im putting it on wrong? I use it with NARS sheer glow

  • you're hair is so pretty!

  • i like the other one i think its by benefit called pore fessional, its almost exactly like the too faced primer except it feels a little lighter

  • Can you make a video on how to get more views on youtube? I make HD videos but I'm still not getting that many views.. :)

  • @TheTeenOpinion it's not about your video quality or things like that. Just have fun with it and be genuine. Don't do it to get views or it will just never happen. Again, just have fun!

  • MUFE HD primer and powder are going to be reformulated, it does not photograph well at all,

  • Do you still like the hard candy one you've spoken about a while back? Why or why not? I had perchased it out of your reccommendation and I still have it but have been neglecting it for my makeup forever hd. Thank you!

  • What primer would you recommend for those of us with silicone sensitivities? It breaks me out horribly, but I need a good primer for my oily skin! Thanks =]

  • Such a helpful video. Thank you!

  • the 10% thing doesn't work. i was really looking forward to buying brushes!! Great vid though! love you too death<3

  • @luckydaypeace you either have to choose to use that or the free shipping they're offering I think

  • @luckydaypeace I actually just saw where someone said you have to actually type it in- if you copy and paste it doesn't work. Not sure why...

  • Updated room tour please!!!!

  • Have you tried prime time by bare minerals

  • @claireeeeification Hey! I just saw your comment and, I'm definitely no Tiffany, but I thought I would try to help if I can. I have very dry skin too, and I find that anything I put on my face soaks right into my skin because my skin is so 'thirsty'. Any primer should work fine as long as you make sure to moisturize really well right before you put your makeup on! Also, drinking lots of water is good for many beauty benefits! Hope this helps:)

  • What rose gold watch do you have? The double glitz one? Or what is the exact name?

  • Please do a video of your foundation shades.. I feel like I have very similar skin tones and it would help a lot to figure out what shade I need to get for the foundations your using cuz I soooo want to try them :)

  • I wear the makeupforever hd primer, the green one though

  • I just tried to use the Sigma discount code and the Sigma site says the code is not valid. Anyone else having problems using it?

*NEVERMIND....apparently you cant copy and paste. You have to type the code in...oops

  • I just tried to use the Sigma discount code and the Sigma site says the code is not valid. Anyone else having problems using it?

  • Are u married?

  • Try the Hourglass primer from Sephora! They said it's one of their best sellers, it's water proof and definitely makes my bad skin look really good!

  • I have totally oily skin and recently discovered MAC Face Protect SPF 50. It totally works for me! My skin is definitely less oily. Make Up For Ever Mattifying primer on the other hand jus didnt do it for me.

  • Did you end up liking the MAC BB Cream? I was really curious about that :)

  • Everyone please take the time to help us get #PrayingforPaige trending on Twitter. She's a junior in my class who was in an awful car wreck Sunday night. The wreck broke her entire leg and has resulted in a coma. She needs all the prayers she can get. Thank you -3

***thumbs up to help spread the word

  • Wow the back of your hand is very primed right now lol

  • <3 your videos. and im glad you do them. :) i have dry skin and i love primers. foundation is not the same without primer when you have dry skin. (from october thru april especially). Smashbox i used for months and liked, but then noticed it would be a little gritty and small balls of it would come off on my face, so i got icked out. now i love Benefit Porefessional!! Michael Tod instant fill primer and currently am loving Laura Mercier Radiance (hated her original primer but love this one!)xo

  • have you tried the Bare Escentuals Prime Time face primer? I love it. i recently ran out and didn't want to use my back up for everyday so i went and bought a drugstore and it was the hard candy one. such a bad buy. broke my skin out. awesomen vid. i am thinking of trying the MUA primer

  • I've tried so many primers, but I always go back to the L'oreal magic perfecting base. Mattifies, fills in pores, CHEAP:)

  • your eye makeup/eye brows look different. Like one side is darker and one is lighter. on one side your liner looks darker and your eyebrows look different to the other. hmmm

  • i thought you said that primer made you break out?

  • which primer would you say is good for dry skin?

  • your necklace is so classy yet chic. very fitting for you :)

  • tiifany- im a HS teacher & a freelance MUA...I enjoy the qualityyou put into your videos & have found them to be very useful. Keep up the good work!

  • What would you recommend for laugh lines? I've never had any, but recently my makeup has been creasing like CRAZY around my mouth. What do you recommend and how can I get rid of these laugh lines?

  • M.A.C.has a great primer line filler..on another note the primer with 50 spf you like is a silicone rich based primer.

  • @brandon420z1 it doesn't have the silicone slip feel though ;)

  • Where did you go to school to study to become a make-artist?

  • Good info!!!

  • Hey guys! Im an ordinary 15 year old that is inspired by makeup, fashion, beauty, and many new things in life. I hope you guys can check out my channel! It would be such a dream come true! Im trying to reach 150 subscribers by tonight! I hope you guys can help me ! Like to make other people see this <3

  • I've been debating whether or not to get the mac line filler, because my foundation goes on and settles in the lines and creases a lot, aging my skin. The lines I'm trying to prevent from creasing are just facial features I have when I smile, raise my brows, etc. But I'm wondering if the line filler will work to keep the foundation from settling because the lines are my natural facial features. Any thoughts? :/

  • thanks for the video! i used to use a primer all the time then got lazy with it as well. I have the smashbox primer and i love the texture of that. I love laura Mercier and i am just now trying out the Korres pomegrante primer. I didnt quite understand this but was one of the Mac Primers directed towards reducing redness on the skin?

  • Thanks for the information I've been wanting to try a good primer but didn't know which one to try this really helped. I'm also looking for a really good eye primer. It would be great if you could make a video on that. Thanks!

  • I've tried a ridiculous number of primers and the one I always come back to is the Hourglass Veil Mineral primer. The feel and finish are incredible. I swear it heals my skin and helps it look amazing! It's pricey, I know not everyone can afford it, but If you can splurge, I highly recommend it! Just an FYI I have oily skin prone to breakouts.

  • hey tiffany i bought sigma brushes thanks for the code to 10% off saved me $21.00

  • @gossipgrlfanz nice! So glad

  • Thank you this was so helpful!

  • @makeupbytiffanyd can u do a video about tinted moisturizers? I have normal- oily skin and have some acne scarring around my mouth. Is there even such thing of a almost full coverage tinted moisturizer. Thx. Oh and I love your videos!!!(:

  • you're gorgeous-3

  • How old are you?

  • I always thought you were like 19 till i heard you were married and red your comment about your jobs :o shocked!

  • Thanks for the info. Very helpful.

  • im 15 what do you reccoment as a job?

  • @taymaire97 My first job at 15 was scooping ice cream and making cakes at Brusters Ice Cream :) SO much fun

  • loreal has a primer i luv it i paid $10.99 at ulta is very good is matte finish

  • I just wanted to say I love your videos and I think you're awesome!

  • do you think you'll ever go back to teaching??

  • I wanted to become a makeup artist. I want to work for a company like Mac or even Chanel. I've done a year in retail, i have no makeup experience, in regards to qualifications. I did a course for about 6 months, which ended up with no qualification. What do you suggest, any advice, or tips?

  • Thanks for the video Tiffany! this was really helpful!

  • I use the philosophy "present" primer and I love it. It's like a cream and makes my make up stay for at least 10 hours.

  • I love you, you always look so put together!

  • U know u can use a product n if u dont like it sephora gives ur money back

  • i actually think you are the definition of a beauty guru-amazingly knowledgeable but equally awesome in the practical skills. i honestly dont know what i would do with your videos! <3

  • I am ridiculously pale and need to wear a high SPF on my face daily or I end up with a burn or just very red. I actually love using neutrogena ultra sheer liquid daily sunblock in SPF 70 every day under whatever I wear on my face not including a foundation primer. I never wear primer anymore because the sunblock I use does a great job of priming on its own. Kind of weird, but thought that I'd share. :)

  • Thnks tiff for the sigma code....im finna get my brushes.

  • What primer would you recommend for normal to dry skin?

  • She's obviously a makeup artist. She talks about her kit and experience all the time. That combined with youtube is enough to make a living, especially since she has no kids.

  • Please please check out my channel and videos! (song covers), i really will apreciate it, and rate them even if you hate it :)

  • What primer would you suggest for bride makeup? *beach wedding . Thanks!!

  • Comment removed

  • Aww I don't think Benefit is gimmicky! I just think it's fun; holds the spirit of the city in which it started :)

  • you didn't mention benefit pore-fessional, but it's definitley the best one i've ever used.. it keeps my combination skin matte the longest & my makeup looking fresh all day :)

  • @emmakoch19 I like that one too! It came in my last BirchBox but I think I'll re-purchase once the sample size is gone! It's awesome and you only have to use a tiny amount!

  • Thank you for this video! I have tried Covergirl/Olay primer ($11 - $12) and am going to try ELF primer ($6). Your hair and nails are gorgeous! <3

  • I hate primers. (Or most that I have tried). I haven't found one that doesn't break me out.

  • @FlowerChild65 My face is really sensitive too.. I got a Korres Silicon Free Primer sample from Sephora a long time ago and I haven't had any issues with breakouts. I think there is a different Korres one for VIB's now for the 100 point reward.

  • I just recently got a sample of the Laura Mercier Radiance primer. It is AMAZING! It is the rose gold tint that is more attractive for all skin colors. It really helps with that dull winter skin. I mix it with my Laura Geller Spackle to tone it down a bit.

  • @soccerbabee893 its a shadow from the lighting. at 2:20 she tilts her head up and their the same color :)

  • Could you do these types of videos with mascara, blushes, eyeshadows (not just MAC) etc.. Please I LOVE these!

  • Would you recommend the Benefit That gal for weddings then?, Im getting married and need something thats going to make me foundation last all day!. Thanks xxx

  • @AllBeauty20 use makeup forever hd foundation with the hd primer and the hd powder. it should last until you take it off! congrats!!!

  • @soccerbabee893 id assume its just a shadow from her bangs.. hahah thats just me though.

  • thumbs up if you want tiffany to do a tutorial on this eye makeup look!! :D

  • NDAA Bill: Signed by Obama on January 1st, 2012.

Nation Defense Authorization Act : Indefinite Detention of Americans without a charge or trial. ....

  • I think you would like the NARS Pro-Prime. It isn't slippery and smells fresh. Thanks for the video!

  • Wow ur hair got long Tiffany!x

  • Have you tried the new covergirl 24 hr mascara? because I know from your other videos you like the original covergirl lashblast so I was just wondering :)

  • @misscrzyness333 she just got it its in one of her recent hauls but i dont think shes reviewed it or anythingg(:

  • Could you please do an overview of your kit?

  • would you recommend mac prep and prime or the urban decay de slick in a tube more for extremely oily skin?

  • @onlinegirl55 de slick!

  • @mek0626 i was wondering the same thing... :)

  • what nail polish are you wearing? its really pretty

  • @MissSmosh2000 nicole by opi "listen to your momager" it is from the kardashian kolors collection. she lists all of the products she wears in the information box that is under the video

  • I saw one of your previous hauls and you mentioned purchasing the Urban Decay De-Slick Spray and that you were going to keep us posted on how that works, so I was wondering when you were going to kind of review it, i guess? Thanks, I really am curious about purchasing it for my oily skin. Thanks again!

  • Just bought the Revlon photoready perfecting primer and I love it!!! Only one that's worked for me ever! My makeup stays all day

  • Ohhh I thought you meant eye primers! Aww

  • Using sunscreen is a MUST, skin cancer is very prevalent so never skip it. Even if it's cloudy outside; idk what it is about ppl. n not wanting to use sunscreen lol

  • have you ever tried the loreal perfecting base primer?

  • @jollixx4eva i did, i liked it for awhile but after almost two years of use I finally realized it was making me break out. naturally I no longer use it.

  • Have you heard of Monistat chaffing gel as a primer? Thoughts?

  • Great video as always :-)

  • what do you do for a living?

  • @Thinkpink1741 Shes am make up artist... as far as i know she has make up kits and talks about when she has to do others make up in videos

  • @Thinkpink1741 youtube videos

  • @Thinkpink1741 pretty sure she's a makeup artist

  • @Thinkpink1741 she's a makeup artist

  • @Thinkpink1741 Shes a professional makeup artist..

  • @MakeupIsMyWorld4Ever she wishes!!

  • @ciaobaumiao no, lol I am. I state that on my blog and have answered that on here many times ;) Nothing to wish babe

  • @MakeupIsMyWorld4Ever She IS a make up artist, but thats more of a hobby... I think her real career is being a elementary school teacher

  • @Thinkpink1741 She's a Teacher!

  • @Thinkpink1741 I'm pretty sure she is a makeup artist!

  • @Thinkpink1741 This is a quote from her blog

"After spending my college years majoring in education and teaching little ones, I discovered that I am truly a teacher at heart. However, I had always dreamed of becoming a makeup artist. By combining my love of teaching with my love of makeup, I ventured into the world of YouTube creating makeup and beauty how-to videos for fun."

  • haha I've answered this several times and it is on my blog- I'm a Makeup Artist/YouTube Partner/Beauty Blogger. Years ago I was a teacher, then I had a marketing job, now I'm getting to do what I love full time :) ... and lets not forget all those years working retail. I've had a job since I was 15. So basically I just gave you an entire employment history run-down lol

  • Great video!!

  • I bought the Revlon PhotoReady Perfecting Primer. I've used it this morning and it works really well and gives a nice matte finish for my typically oily skin. I'd liken it to the MUFE HD Primer.

  • You must have been in my head. I wanted to buy some primer but wasnt sure where to start. Thanx!

  • i can not explain how helpful this is. i'm looking for a new primer and i have been looking EVERYWHERE for a good review thank you soo much!!

  • @MakeupByTiffanyD Oh well your hair looks lovely!!

  • This video was super helpful! Thank you!

  • smashbox works well but it breaks me out!

  • Tiffany try the HOURGLASS mineral primer... ITS THE BOMB.COM for oily skin.

You dont need to touch up your face with power EVER when wearing this primer.. :)

  • I don't know if you get a kickback or not from the sigma link/code on each of your videos, but I just wanted to let you know that I've bought an absolute ton of them through it and I sincerely hope you do get a portion of it. I think you're one of the very few genuine and honest beauty YouTubers and I just get so excited whenever I see a new video from you pop up. Keep doing what you're doing, lady. =)

  • All the last videos you have made look like your lense is dirty on your camera, cause one side is all bright and the other side is foggy looking! Just letting you know! :) great video.

  • @BrittanyJaggers lol I cleaned it yesterday-- It totally was and you're totally right ;)

  • i like to use macs msf's. what would you recommend as a face illuminator underneath the msf?

  • @muybesos1 either of the ones I recommended- I LOVE both of the highlighting/illuminating primers I showed

  • Can you please do a video on how long does makeup last/ when you need to through it out? (and I don't mean on your face) Thanks!

  • The Murad Oil-Control Mattifier is amazing, and it has spf 15! It's the only thing that kind of controls my oily oily skin.

  • Love this video :) It gave me some great product ideas, Thanks!!

  • Thanks ,great video ...... I think you should do the best foundation please :)

  • Can you recommend a primer for sensitive or acne prone skin? I don't want to use a primer to cover my acne, but have it cause even more. Would love any advice!

  • I just have to ask what happened to the wall bookshelf and desk? is that a different room in your house? or are you just filming from a different place in the room? just wondering.

  • @moveitmartha she said she moved it somewhere I think

  • @moveitmartha I made a separate office in a different spare room we have :)

  • Just a type of video I needed. I have never used Primer before, so I've been considering a primer since some weeks. I live in Denmark, so I cant find much of the stuf you showed, but I would try if there is the l'oreal one available here. I have seen smashbox photo finish, my skin is normal not oily, would you think it would be a good choice for me?

  • Totally unrelated but you are totally my hair inspiration right now! It looks so shiny and healthy! x

  • i love doublewear foundation but it doesnt love me on photos as it makes me look like casper the ghost. the only thing i dont like about it. and i have been told it the spf in it by the assistant at estee lauder counter.

  • I love hourglass (from sephora) mineral veil primer, perfect for my dry skin! I have a video comparing it to loreal studio secrets if anyone is interested in trying.

  • I wish there was a "pocket-Tiffany" for my mom. When she goes to buy make-up of any kind without me the artists they have there make her buy all this stuff that she doesn't need, like geesh! lol

  • My favorite face primer is bareMinerals Prime Time. It's absolutely amazing and makes your skin look flawless. I save it for special occasions. I don't need it for every day use. The bareMinerals Prime Time Shadow Primer is amazing as well.

  • Thank you!

  • did anyone try the laura geller primer?!

  • I'm totally loving the new gurlaine primer with the gold flecks, so moisturizing all day long.. a bit high priced but worth it , if u try it please let us know what u think

  • @eparadise90

In hot, humid weather this is what works wonders for me: put a moisturizer on first (oil-free),,then the Hourglass primer, then Clarins UV Plus Day Screen High Protection. This is my fav sunscreen as it is very light, sheer, and dries to a matter finish. It has SPF 40 and zero trace of that oily finish most sunscreens have, hope that helps.

  • That Gal by Benefit is my all time fav <3

  • the too faced one is great! i love it! although i agree with you about the slipperiness....that bothered me at first but it's awesome!

  • @MichelleGenevieve I use loreal magic perfecting too but I still can't figure out if I like it or not. It seems like no matter how I use it it makes my face dry as soon as I put it on. I use it before moisturizer and I've even tried it over my moisturizer and it still makes me dry. I keep try tho bc it's soo soft and you really only need a dab. It doesn't really fill my pores in either "/

  • Asian make up have had "make up base" for ages......with different purposes like colour correction, SPF etc etc......what's the difference between make up base and primers?

  • yes, MAC still sells the line filler- i bought it not so long ago ;)

  • I have the toofaced primed and poreless.. I'm not so much in love with it... Maybe I'm more into the silicone very slippery stuff ;)

  • I dont even wear foundation on a daily basis but I watched this video because I love you so much!

  • This was very helpful. Thanks

  • love your videos!

  • The loreal magic perfecting base primer is awesome!

  • Thanks. Very informative.

  • thaaaaaaaaaaaaanx alot it's very useful video
