The Talmud says that graves of Tzaddikim in the exile have the holiness of Eretz Yisael and that is why it is halachicly mutar to go and people travel all over Europe to graves, even those not breslov.
I love Breslev (also learn some teachings from them), but going to Uman on Rosh Hashana is a waist of time, waist of $, and not a good idea for many to leave the land of Israel to the exile.
you only go for a week. There are organizations to help fund your trip to Uman if money is an issue. Its definatly something you should experience atleast once in a life
