Sundown i a better amp but i feel you can get two 1500d audiopipes and do more damage and they cost less then 1 sundown 1500.

@fagalvan2 sundown is actually pretty spendy,, if your looking at sundown, just save like $250 more and get fosgate or something,,,, sundown are nice out,,, so are soundstream

Im trying to decide between that amp, or a sundown 1500

I've been recommended both so I have to figure which to choose

the sundown would probly do 18-1900 rms and the AP is less expensive

did u get this with the lvl5 coils or lvl4 coils? because my next setup will be a 18" lvl4/5coils and AP1500d

the lvl4xl is the new lvl4 with lvl5 coils just get the xl and you be able to pump more power into it

the xl has a bigger motor than the lvl4, that is the biggest difference between them.

the lvl 4 with level 5 coils can take about 1500. the lvl4XL can take around 2800+ daily is what i have been told by DC.

just makes sure your not cliipng becuase it was gettin warm but no anymore
