@jsmith19810808 Its ok, I got it back a few weeks ago, I do not know why it says I posted that a week ago. Thanks anyways. It was just the root problem for PhpMyAdmin, windows seems compatible with it.
@Acceptable76 It is but there's just too many variations to configurations based on the Windows platform.
I personally dont like that myself, but XAMPP for which I used to use when I was at University works perfectly well though, its definately a weird one.
Its when I tried installing my own version, Apache with PHP just doesnt work for me, I have heard Apache and Windows arent fond of each other, XAMPP is a wonderful thing though!
Microsoft dont really like any other systems being developed on their platform, it does work though, or can be made to work, but there's a huge work around.
Its like with Fedora in a sense the distro of Linux I have installed on a spare computer now (after months of playing with it), I use that now, that has mod_ssl installed in Apache 2.
XAMPP has this aswell (basically SSL cyphering, or the padlock), but its not easy with apache 2, without a work around.
But the developers at Fedora (GNU developers) have got it working.
Its literally taken me months to work out how to make it go for my own signed certs instead of their custom unsigned, I wont go into that one though that as I said took ages to understand how to do that.
Its pretty neat what I have managed to do, all I say with all this stuff, is just keep trying it, you'll get there believe me! I didnt think I could do what I have done but I have.
you're really good at PHP.greets

My friend accidently deleted my root file for my PhpMyAdmin, do you know if there is any way to get it back? thanks.

You can download phpMyAdmin just google it.
Windows is a pain in the ass for setting phpMyAdmin up though so I would aim personally for Linux as thats what its designed for.
I tend to stay away from anytype of Windows platform for doing PHP work as its not that quick at processing.

@jsmith19810808 Yeah. I have XAMPP and works perfectly, and I agree :) Thats to bad though, do you think its OS?

Its got to be to do with the OS.
