@brawyn777 Go to the health food store and buy a bottle of Hydrocloric Acid Betaine this works for many people for $7. This does not work with Acid Blocker Perscriptions. You need acid to digest food and Nexium, prevacid, zantac, and others block the acid. If you can go to a homeopatic dr. and you will find ways to take care of the problem. Good luck; I wish I had before I got complications from prescription drugs.

I think the reason it may work so well is because so many people are misdiagnosed with over acidic stomachs, and what they may be suffering from is H. Pylori which is a lowered acidity in the stomach due to a spiral shaped bacteria that lodges itself in the membrane that produces your stomach acid. This is only a guess though so perhaps a Doctor may be able to say why this seems to help. I take it daily to prevent post nasal drip due to chronic sinusitis. I have had acid reflux forever since i was 18...now I am 22...last year I took homeopathy treatment it relaxed it a bit for sometime but now that I am away from the treatment the reflux is started (for last one month)...I wanted to know some methods you used for curing your problem...

I dont have heart burn I just have throat cognestion...so it hearts because I am unable to speak when I have this...I get hoarsness in my voice its hurting my career...

I dont get cure I'll go for a surgury...

@abksharma I have the same symptoms as you it seems. I have lost 30 percent of my voice. I do feel some pressure in my chest lately. Omeprazol works a little but I don't want to take anything. What's going on with you? anything working?

Apple Cider Vinegar works because most all health problem are caused from an over acidic body PH. Although Apple Cider vinegar IS acidic, it is alkalizing once it gets into your body. Baking soda does the same. You can cure a host of other health problem by adjusting your body PH. Search the net for acid/alkaline foods lists. Test youself with Body PH test strips that you can purchase at a health food store. Healthy PH is about 7.2. Try it! Added bonus of easy weight loss!

From a personal testimony acv is good for Gerd, but what works even better is a teaspoon of cayenne pepper in water... very harsh but works even better!
