I just asked the Tiny Tach people a question on replacing the battery and they said the battery can't be replaced and they will post me another new one straight away. Great service if u ask me. I never even said I had a problem, now I have two.
That looks like the model TinyTach Commercial Gas model; is that right?
Also, if you rev the engine too erratically, sometimes it could have trouble following it. But it lloks like the battery is old, the way the digital numbers fade.
Look on the back of the TinyTach, and tell us what the numbers are that are written on the ticket. That will tell what date it was manufactured. Battery life is 6-7 years.

Same issue here. My takes even more time to reset after it goes blank.
Email sent to service 3 weeks ago and no response. Tiny Tach sucks. Don't buy it!
