brilliant book, ending brought me so close to tears, i agree with amenhothep they're now his fan's characters, all through the book i expected a sad ending but still didnt prepare me for it.

but thank you Salvatore for creating my favourite stories and the also some of the most meaningful insights i have with Drizzt's 'monologues' at the start of each part;

I know they started as his characters but they are all of our characters now... Why he killed her I will never know, the way she died was not meaningful in any such way nor did it make sense. I hate him for it. Truth be told.
