I have always thought about the concept of algorithmic composition but I had no idea someone made it possible. though the music lacks an emotional quality and conveys no meaning, it is almost soothing to hear a piece of music that is under absolute control of causality. do you know if there is a source that I can find more about contemporary music?

nice one! great sound quality, is this all recorded in 2 channel live or did you do a multi track record and mix in post? did you make use of any externals or libraries or is it all built in objects?

its all 100% generated from all standard objects within max msp. no external processing, no bouncing, no recorded audio. all synthesis and processing within max msp. i created my own effects and synthesisers to create the sound, and the sequences and arrangement are programmed into "coll" objects.
