  • does it help with acne scars? my derm gave it to me for my scars i just wanna know if it help you for your scars...

  • @MrsDavidBeckhem i'm sorry i don't have scars to know personally.

  • Will the differin speed up the healing of the red spots???

  • Ive been using it for a week. & its hell. My face looks worst, im burning, i really wanna give up. My face wasnt even that bad it was only on one cheek, now its on all. Im scared to take this anymore

  • @sharinik1 your face is just spewing out all the pimples you'll have in the near future... so after you've used the product for about two weeks your face will be clear

  • UR FILIPINO?

  • @dota161616 yes.

  • Lol... amm i the only one who didn't feel anything with this on...?

  • What virus would cause severe acne?...

  • @skincarewithaustin it was a bacterial infection that spread throughout her whole body, including her scalp.

  • @copyrightdaisy i have the same thing :( my doctor prescribed the same thing.

  • For the courious poeple out there if you have very few pimples that are big and you breakout sometimes like me differin is not for you (opinion of a user, im not a specialist) but it dried up my skin and its suposed to make you break out by getting impurities to the surface and make pimples. You are probably only over reacting so just dont worry wash your face and try to prevent breakouts and acne is a natural process everybody gets it your not the only one so relax it feels worst than it looks

  • I have mine w/ insurance and everything and mines free :D

  • mine cost $85 and ya it dries your face out really bad ):

  • i think a good combo is like differin and doxycycline cuz the doxy will prevent any new acne which will subside the possible breakouts from differin and the differin will clear up what acne you have at the time.

  • got mine for $6.99 :D

  • My insurance wouldn't cover this and it cost around 150$ for the differin gel at my pharmacy. I think some stores like Walmart, target, costco...etc have it for cheaper but I was in a hurry. :(( If your insurance covers this then it will be whatever your copay is.. 10, 15...

  • @brooklynnhood mine cost $5 lol sucker

  • how much does differin cost with insurance?

  • how do you use it. I can put across the face???

  • I was on this! it totally worked on me :D i was so happy. But i stopped using it which led to break out again. xD Now i am on Epiduo. ~My experience

  • Are you African American and Asian..you are very pretty..but yeah I have the acne too..just got differin and doxy

  • Dats one hot asian

  • Hey wats ure name cutey .)

  • i paid five bucks for it with insurance.

  • It´s not 100 $ loool, i got it for 15,00 EUR here in Europe so it can´t be that expensive. I wanna know though if you can apply some kind of a cream during the day so DIfferin won´t dry it out so much? Can someone tell me what´s the difference between Differin gel and Differin cream.

  • i got differin last week and i can already see a difference in my skin :) but it is starting to dry out. and with my health plan i only payed $10 for it

  • This pissed me off I used it for like 2 weeks and almost used up the whole tube it burned like hell peeled my skin and made me break out. Doctor said it was cus I used to much but I stopped using it. In the end it actually helped alot so now 8 months later I'm gonna try to use it again in super small amounts

  • I love the free healthcare here in the UK. Americans seem to pay so much for thier medication! I should be lucky I get it for free. lol :)

  • @iwanaplayagame1 yeah well you dont have poor niggers beggin for free shit in the UK

  • @rainbowboa123 VERY racist.

  • wow whats wrong with you guys. PEA SIZE. I have the most sensitive skin in the world, and all it's done is mildly dried and redenned! gosh!

  • are you wearing makeup in this video?

  • @10thStreetBlvd yes.

  • cleavage.

  • @10thStreetBlvd i know...

  • So it does make you break out?? how badley??

  • @Sicily1617 depends on your skin.

i didn't break out too bad.

  • @copyrightdaisy I've been using Differin for 4 days and my face is BURNING. It hurts so much. Is this normal?

  • @MikeMonstah no. you should apply moisturizer before applying the differin. and you're probably applying too much. less than a dime size is needed. if it continues to burn, consult with your doctor/derma.

  • @copyrightdaisy I have been using a dime size and I DO apply moisturizer but whenever I put my moisturizer on a certain area (cheeks) it BURNS. My cheeks were perfect before (no pimples whatsoever) and I didn't even put the differin on my cheeks. Just in my T area. I'm so upset right now. I look like a MESS and I'm embarrassed to go out in public. My cheeks look sunburnt and my skin is all cracked and dry.

  • @MikeMonstah stop applying the differin. call your derma/doctor.

  • @copyrightdaisy your not supposed to put moisturizer before differin, because even on the differin website it says that it nights to be applied on freshly clean, and dry skin. if you have moisturizer on, then thats what counteracts it.

  • @masha5678x i've been using it for over a year, and it still works for me.

  • @MikeMonstah oh sweet jesus i did what you said and its much better. i put ice cubes all over my face to numb the burning sensation. i washed it with my daily cleanser then i put cetaphil and it feels much much much better. thanks <3

  • haha i got mine for 300 dolers

  • for any acne meds your face will break out first. This is your skin pushing all the bad things (oils, dead skin, etc) out of your pores. It will get better though to so hang it there. Remember drinks lots of water that leads to happy skin, as well as SPF!

  • i got differin a couple weeks ago, & now i started getting quite a few little bumps under my skinm will it go away & how long?

  • @jonasbrotherfanatic i'm not sure if you broke out or not, but breakout out is normal when using differin. your skin will get worse before it gets better. if your few little bumps are red and itchy, go back to your dermatologist.

  • I pay 15 dollars with my insurance. Without insurance it costs 250 dollars ? Thanks to Obama's health care reform, I will be on my parents insurance until 26 . Yay.

Differin 0.1% has been the best acne product I have ever used.

  • mine's was $75 all together =| lol

  • Thank you txsmonkey!!! =)

  • with my perscription and insurance my differin was $25

  • Oh, allright thank you! =D

  • Hey, um... i just got mine and do you put it on in the day time or night =|

  • @XxafghangrrlxX hmm it supposidly works only at night? at night, your skin hydrates itself. so... idk..

  • I use it at night, and it's a lot better. The doctor said it would irritate it, and it does, but that's part of the whole point. Use it at night for sure. Hope this helped.

  • @XxafghangrrlxX Yes. Do not skip, not even one day. It will turn for the worse.

  • my skin was soooooooooooooooooooo greasy when i applied differin like when i put it on my face it felt like i was rubbing crisco on it IDK its weird

  • @ihartubby00 did you apply too much? only a dime size!

  • yer only a small bit

  • @copyrightdaisy !! Dime size ? Don't you mean more like half a dime size ? Good god dime size will turn your face into a red tomato with all that irritation.

  • @Sameer3292 well i didn't get irritated... and yes i used a dime size

  • All the things you said in this video are the same things ive experienced with Differin.

    1. It dries the heck outta my skin, especially around the mouth area.

    2. It did create more acne on my face and i was so mad but its is going away.

My dermatologist told me that it would take about 3-4 moths for it to completely clear up! Im on my second month and i am very excited! Thanks for the review, it really cleared up some questions i had about this =)

  • @StarGurl335 your welcome!!

  • I've been suffering for acne for like what. 4 years maybe . and its really severe acne. I tried proactiv and all those cream. Didn't work for me. so I didn't do go to the clinic and ask for something new. and they prescribed me this Differin. I'm currently using it now. Also It freaking cost 60$!! hopefully its not a waste! And Yeah it does make your skin really dry. hopefully it will work once and for all !

  • i really wish you the best.

  • Thanks a lot. I've just watched a couple of video of people with acne lol. And I really want to take Accutane but damn its scary so many side effect aha. How ever! thanks a lot. keep those video coming. I don't know if anyone told you already, btu you have a very nice voice. Try doing some singing :) have fun.

  • yeah some people go on accutane for a looong time and have to keep going on it for it to work. thank you for the comment on my voice, unfortunately, my twin sister stole singing from me. my singing voice is all virbrato. lol.

  • I'm 18 and I've had acne since I was 11 so I know what it's like! : ( I've tried EVERYTHING! I have the generic brand of Differin and it only costs $10 about every 2 months and IT WORKS. I had really really bad acne and I was completely clear in 3 months. I used to have to wear a ton of makeup, now I don't wear any. I would definetly recommend u switch to the generic Differin because it works just as good! : )

  • @TOOLandMuDvAyNe92 I Haven't even really use Differin much. But I should take a look at it. Thanks for the Info. It's really nice of you. I Hope you will never get any more acne :) lol appreciate the comments. thanks.

  • Sure! ^_^

  • wow it costs that much? i got it for free from my dermatolagist and ita great (;

  • oh wow i never heard of it being free. glad you like it!

  • i just put some on and it doesnt sting at all, is that bad? ofcourse it's not mine ,its my brothers

  • you should be fine.

  • hi didit ever get worse wen u used it? i am using it, it started to get better, then a few little pimples popped up and i popped one I KNOW I KNOW not sapose to, so no down thumbs any who im in my 5th or 6th week i tink? and it has gotten worse, its all red and big pimples. will it go away by 8 weeks? i was lik eo its working but now im startng to doubt it and feel depressed about myself

  • it sounds like it's making your acne worse. :T

    i'm sorry..

  • 5th week this week**

i have a feeling it will get better cuz its the that time of the month right now a nd i always reakout but u honestly think its jut making it worse? like should i use it up to the weeks an dif not etter go back to the dr? or do u just think it will make it worse so go backnow? sorry im new at ths. i never use to have pimples, never, now i do so idk what to do,

  • this wasn't meant to be indepth. i was bored one day. -__-

  • oops i meant 2:37

  • wut were you talking about around 2:44? i couldn't understand the name of the alternative to differin

  • aspirin mask

  • Of course you're skin's gona sting and dry guys, acne is caused by oil and dirt clogging your pores and Differin dries up your skin cause it removes the oil, removes the dirt and fights the bacteria, i just got it today and it's on my face as we speak and it strins like an ass lol, my doc also gave me somethin called Benzaclin, which i'm supposed to apply in the morning

  • did it work doublage101?

and i just got mine today and you guys are scarying me:'(

  • it worked for my sister and i,

i stopped using it now though. it all depends on how you treat your face.

  • oh no dony worry ive used it for a year now and it really works, for me it didnt dry up my skin, anhways it really works so ur acne should be gone in a while,it wont take a month for it to go away, probably a week or so

  • yup yup it works yup check out my video yup

  • Really? My regular doctor perscribed it to me a month ago.. I'm 12 years old, by the way. With severe acne that just won't clear :/. All over my cheeks, chin & forehead. Sorry about my life story, lol.

Right now Differin hurts like hell and my skin is so dry! But when I feel my pimples I feel them drying so it's a good sign.

So even if you have severe acne, it can clear within 2-3 months? *Hopeful*

  • my sister got it from her derma. it will clear, don't worry. make sure you apply a good moisturizer before and after differin, and don't apply too much! only less than a dime's size. it shouldn't hurt.. i think you're putting too much.

i wish you luck, girl. contact me if you have any questions or concerns. :)

  • i also got really dry but i started using Rare Minerals Purely Nourishing Facial Mousturizer. Its by Bare Escentuals. it is all natural and creamy so it mousrurizes good and wont make u break out...if anything it helps breakouts. it also has a light fresh scent. If my face was really dry it sometimes burned a little but it helped. after a month of using it day and night my skin was less dry. it might not work the cofor everyone, but its worth a shot. its sorta expensive. $32. Good luck!

  • Hey honey, the key to any acne routine is that you must try it for at least 28-30 days cause that's how long it takes for skin turnover. Keep in mind too that not all acne medication will work for everyone.. A great thing I just started using is the Clinique three step acne solutions and I honestly saw results overnight.. The moisturizer dries really fast and if you feel you need something more moisturizing, just apply a drugstore lotion on after that. =) i hope that helps!!

  • clinique's three step acne solutions broke me out like crazy overnight. and i usually apply a moisturizer underneath differin. thanks for your input though.

  • it knocks u down just get back up when it knocks u down

  • haha my earring came off at one point.

  • do you have to get it prescribed by a determologist or just a reg dr??

  • a derma, sadly.

  • u look so cute dere :)
