I (politely) disagree.

There songs from "All Hope Is Gone" have a lot more depth, plus they recorded it better. They now have guitar solos in their songs, and I personally think that their masks are cooler now (Sid Wilson, with an animatronic mask!? HOLY SH*T!!)

However, this doesn't mean that I don't like their "Iowa" days; I just think that they've gotten even better, and have branched out in a way so that they are COMPLETELY different from any other bands out there.
