  • man you suck, All positions are very high, you need speed and strength

  • @Mr888ruben Well Im sorry that I wasn't up to Shaolin monk ability after 6 weeks of training. (This tao lu was 2 weeks I think) I wish I could be perfect at everything the first time I attempted them like you. Must be nice to be so perfect.

  • Amazing!

  • nice form, i enjoyed that

  • you need to dip down and cup the water before you jump.. just sayin :) gl

  • falta algo ahi...............

  • I do Shaolin GONG-Fu

  • People are bashing him because he is a white guy. :D

  • Dont worry man, I hope the ones makeing fun of you could go just one day and see if they can hold to the training, at least you have the enough HUEVOS to upload a video

    Cheers, good work

  • lower stances lol

  • LOL @ ShotokanBleach! Hilarious that dude was really popping off. Well any ways good video! Keep doing your thing. Peace

  • @Trioptic3D HAHAHA Yeah, some of the keyboard warriors that plague the internet can be a real riot. lol. Thanks for the comment. Check out some of my other vids and please subscribe if you wanna keep seeing more! B-)

  • pretty awesome, man. but maybe widen your horse stance.

  • @theSynysterPiggy Thanks for the comment! Check out some of my other martial arts videos and tell me what you think.

  • @theSynysterPiggy in shaolin Gong-Fu it's called Ma-Bu

This is just some wide eye who thinks that he has mastered a martial art in 2 months. i have been practicing shotokan karate, which takes 3 katas from the jion temple in china and one from a shoalin temple : Ji'on, Ji'in Ji'te and Chinte plus 23 more katas that originated in Okinawa, japan, but i still have not mastered it in 4 years

  • @ShotokanBleach Well that's racist and rude... I don't think that I claimed anywhere in my post or comments that I have "mastered" any of the forms that I have put online. I trained in China for 6 weeks for the opportunity to experience a different martial art's philosophy and to attempt to grow culturally and spiritually from it - which is something you could obviously benefit from.

Like any good martial artist, you should learn to first fully understand your opponent before you engage him.

  • @MathewJoki spoken like a true white guy, and by the way i am white so its not really rascist. and i dont really know where you get off on telling me where i could benefit seeing as your form is lacking in almost every way

  • @ShotokanBleach Like I said. It was never my purpose to perfect my for in 6 months. It was to learn more about myself and about others' philosophy on martial art and culture, as well as humility and respect. Which is "where I get off telling you where you could benefit" since you have an obvious lack of all these things.

  • @MathewJoki dude get over yourself you suck you'll never be able to defend yourself against anyone so you know im done with this conversation

  • @ShotokanBleach My 9 years martial arts experience in 5 different styles, including 9 months of 45-hour-a-week Muay Thai training in Thailand and no fight loses might challenge that theory... Talk all the smack you want though. You're just upset that my vids get twice as many hits per day than all the history of all your combined.

    Haters gonna hate!

  • for the front kick verry bad look at your foot :(

  • @SuperBernard06 Mind being a little more specific?

  • It's a whole form or just part?

  • @MasterPedroJoe They whole form as i understand. But the Shaolin martial art is thousands of years old so there are many variations and elaborations on its forms/tao lous.

  • that was pretty, i like his emotions while he performed that

  • you learn quite fast

  • good excpet for the first time you put your hand up, it had to be at your side;)

    good though

  • Have you tried Sanda? It's quite similar to Muay Thai.

  • @gamrage Yes, I trained in some Sanda when i was in China. Prefer the efficiency and use of knees and elbows in Muay Thai though.

  • @gamrage it's not really similar. but basic techniques are basic techniques. That applies to any style. and when you fight, you use basics - so it tends to look the same. one BIG difference though, san da uses the side kick a lot. muay thai prefers the teep.

  • wats lian huan quan ? what fist is it?

  • "Continuous Linking Fist"

  • haha k thx u learn kung fu in china is it?

  • Shi De Cheng Wushu Guan of Shaolin Gong Fu in Dengfeng, Hunan Province, China.

I know that's a lot of jibberish, but basically, the shifu (master) is Shi De Cheng, it's his Wushu Guan (Martial Art School), they teach Shaolin Kung Fu, and it's in Dengfeng. :P

I spent 6 weeks training there.

  • haha cool . Ur quite good u knoq lol . Btw is this art good?

  • thank you. I found Shaolin good for form for learning body mechanics, training flexibility and building muscle memory.

But imo, the most complete single martial art for standup fighting is Muay Thai or Muay Boran, which I also trained in Thailand for 8 months. I found it to be the most effective and efficient of the martial arts that i have seen or trained.

  • :) keep it up buddy

  • To the guy on the video: just ingore those stupid haters, I bet almost all of them couldnt even start any Kung Fu style because its hard and complicated for them. Nowadays Youtube is filled with stupid zit-faced nerds who post negative comments.

Im a Wing Chung student and soon I'll start with Shaolin Kung Fu and Northern Praying Mantis. Mayeb someday I will go train in Dengfeng too.

  • Good job!

  • horrible loco ,dedicate a otra cosa

  • LOL, I agree this is not your thing guey.... I hate it when white people try to imitate other people's cultures and traditions and fak them up like this.

budashaolin is right dedicate to something else.

este pendejo esta loco si pienza que la va hacer en shaolin kung fu.

  • @ericktm that is an ignorant thing to say. many white people are eager to learn the art and the philosophy behind shaolin kung fu. and many non asians attain its higher principles and gracefulness in forms with more ease than most chinese.

  • I like this one. Its not perfect but for 6 weeks training ... not bad :D

I dont care if its modern way cause after some time everyone has to find his own way and because of that there wont be 2 master who do this form exactly the same way.

btw. i will use this video for learning the order of the form. I have found no better video for doing so. 5 stars from me.

  • Thanks for the support!

  • WTF! Why are people bashing this so much. It can always be a little better, as someone stated below. But, this is pretty good. Decent stance work, nice flow, damn......people are idiots

  • @randyds5 its because of mma, people watch is and then watch these vids and are like, aww he doesnt look like he would last in the octagon, instead of realizing the art behind this

  • @randyds5 I mean no disrespect to anyone but some people expect very high quality when they watch stuff on youtube, they have seen many clips before of varying standards and can see what is good, poor or amazing. this like you say is good, the form looks to be intact with every move in place. however this video demonstrates only the carcass of the form, this will invoke smart asses to point out that its low level & switching comments off or keeping vid private this the only way to avoid these

  • Someone who knows kung fu or shaolin better would never write "really bad". everyone is a student for life

after all the video shows the right order of the form and helped me to remember it

  • @Sympathist i just wanted to write the same thing.. youre absolutely right :D

  • Sorry, I dont like it.

  • Well that's what a fourth taolu in 6 weeks gets you. Sorry for the dissapointment.

  • Its not that you do it "wrong", its that they taught you a modern way of doing the movements, instead of the traditional way it used to be done.

In the old way, you don't rise when you kick, you sink as you kick, that's just one detail.

Also, you don't move the arms independent of your body, you only do whole body movement, arms follow the turning of the waist only.

    etc etc etc

  • Matthew , don't listen to these morons. They are so quick to judge from behind their compuer monitor , with their hand in the potato chip bag, the other scratching their fat ass , just before they put down their XBOX controller. You are in CHINA , training Shaolin Kung Fu. That is more than half the people on you tube can ever dream of. Keep pursuing your goals. Expect a-holes that dont have a clue to judge you on here though. Your form needs work yes, but you have been doing it for 6 weeks !!

  • wushu is still wushu

  • i like it ;D

  • disculpa por repetirlo tanto. тэнэг.
